- PaulineD2670 contributionsA great way to spend a dayWe had a fabulous day. An oldie travelling with her 3 grown kids, enjoyed the snorkelling together, as well as their belief that I could climb the 500m for the amazing views. Lunch was good too. Unlimited cold water and soft drinks were well received. The tour guide was enthusiastic and caring. We felt safe at all times and well looked after. Thank youWritten March 25, 2025
- 352bharatk0 contributionsGet going !Absolutely profesional crew. A satisfying experience right from the booking of the tour until the drop off back to the hotel. Delighted the way the day unfolded creating amazing memories made that much more nicer with the attention to details making the entire tour worth a 5*ratingWritten March 24, 2025
- lesswin000 contributionsDay out of BKKI truly enjoyed the day. Turned out to be just 2 of us making it easy to maneuver the train experience and market. We had front row and some nice coconut water and the guide (fantastic) also picked up the tiny pineapples for us to share! So sweet in taste. Nice transport too!Written March 24, 2025
- 750aidenm0 contributionsFantastic value for money!Due to having g limited time in Chiang Mai, we booked this 3-in-1 trip. Absolutely fantastic value for money! Perfect amount of time spent with the Elephants without feeling rushed. Our tour guide (Jon) was very knowledgeable and couldn't be more helpful. The views from the twin Pagoda's are spectacular. A long day's travel in the van to reach each destination but definitely worth it! 10/10Written March 22, 2025
- DebSom19530 contributionsA fun local experience,I had a wonderful time! It was really fun rafting down the river, seeing elephants, fauna and flora along the way. But the real thrill was the elephants! As is with most animals, their stomach rules the roost, and these guys had the routine down pat knowing there were multiple treats involved at each stop. You could tell they were loved and well treated. The waterfall dulled, compared to the rest of the trip. Food was very local...enjoyed it...our hostess was wonderful and very sweet. (I think her name was "Eet" I think). And the rest of our group was fun, too.Written March 21, 2025
- veronikay5870 contributionsSimilan Island Tour with Fantastic SimilanThis tour is worth all my money! Good and competitive price, with good accommodation, food, transfer, and excellent guide. Our guide Siri, altogether with the intern Pamy, Pony, and Lucas, and also our captain Jack Sparrow, kept us entertained and looked out after us. Especially Miss Siri with her energy and cheerfulness, always made me laugh with her jokes. The tour itself was great. I got to take a lot of nice photos and videos. The staffs around will help you to take photo, so if you're a solo traveler like me, don't worry about not being able to take photo with great view. The snorkeling spots are beautiful. So many fishes around, but be careful with the strong wave. Also sometimes when the tide is a bit low, you might accidentally kick the coral reefs so need to watch out where you swim. The port is really nice. It's spacious, and the staffs will welcome you with big smile when you arrived. The informations are clear and concise. Definitely recommend the Fantastic Similan Tour if you want to visit Similan Island. Thank you for the nice memory!Written March 21, 2025
- 860amitl0 contributionsA good way to see everything in one day. Book this if you have limited time in Chiang Mai.The elephant sanctuary was fantastic. Doi Inthanon had wonderful views and was pretty. The trekking trail was just okay - basically a long walk through a forest. We had limited time in Chiang Mai, so we booked this 3 in 1 tour to get a lot in. Be aware it is a very long day, so be prepared. If you have more time, I'd do one of the shorter toursWritten March 20, 2025
- veronikay5870 contributionsAmazing Phi Phi, Maya, and Bamboo Island tripI had a really great time! Our guide Tick (or self-proclaimed Leonardo Cappuccino) is a funny guy and make this trip even more memorable. The spot they chose were all pretty, I took so many photos and videos. Too bad many places are closed off from tourists, as the government wants to conserve the nature. But we still can take photo from our boat, and it's still beautiful. The site offered one of the best price I found in internet, and it's already including hotel transfer, meals, and speedboat. For the national part entrance fee it will be concluded during check out. The staffs are attentive, and I feel safe travelling by myself. Highly recommended!Written March 20, 2025

- Philwym0 contributionsWonderful tripAlthough this was a long day it was a wonderful trip and the best we had in Thailand. Our guide, Wan, was great and very knowledgable. A great variety of places to visit in 1 day. The elephants at the sanctuary appeared to be very well looked after. It was great to interact with them. The pylons in the national park were beautiful and the hike by the river, with the waterfalls, and rice fields was very interesting.Written March 12, 2025

- lloydg6520 contributionsGood trip with tasty lunch, could be cheaperMaxy the tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable. The trip was as described, we saw a beautiful waterfall and then did a quick hike (~1.5-2hrs), followed by a generous and tasty lunch. The visit to the pagodas was interesting but perhaps the time allocated to see them it was a bit short. The coffee experience was ok, we got to taste some coffees and teas but it felt a bit rushed. Overall a good day and would recommend doing it, but a bit expensive for what is offered.Written March 7, 2025

Koh Samui has many tour offices, but it can be hard to know which providers they use. I prefer to research tour companies to avoid poor experiences. Click2Go stood out because their online reviews were positive, and my communication with them was professional. This gave me confidence they use reputable tour operators, which is why I booked the Slow Boat Tour with them. The tour itself was excellent. The operator they used was friendly and courteous, and the Ang Thong National Marine Park was a highlight of the tour. The 500m hike to the viewpoint is manageable, even for older individuals, although the time at the top is limited to about 10 minutes. The lunch was great as well. The lagoon visit was good; although snorkeling wasn't great due to poor visibility and lack of reef, but kids might enjoy it. I skipped the kayaking package, as it seemed to not be necessary for us. The kayaking starts at the Lagoon stop. Overall, I was very pleased with Click2Go's service and believe their prices are competitive, if not cheaper, than other tour options. I would use them again for similar tours.

It was a fantastic day from start to finish. Our pick up was right on time, the staff on the boat and during the day were so kind and so helpful. It was very well organised and we never felt like it was too crowded. I imagine the different operators coordinate so that not everyone is at the same place at the same time. The climb to the top view points was worth it, so was the lagoon on the other island. Take good shoes but with basic fitness levels you’ll get there. We did with a 5 and 8 year old. Prepare to sweat though!
The snorkelling is as ok, nothing extraordinary but the kayaking is definitely worth it and the beaches and clear water were just fantastic. A must do trip if on Koh Samui! Enjoy!

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you like the experience. You are right, this Ang Thong National Park trip is more on sightseeing and the program's highlight is the viewpoints. Snorkeling and Kayaking are not the best, however. We are surprised and happy to know that the 5 and 8 years old children can go to the viewpoints.

The park is awesome. Literally. So much nature on display as would be expected. Boat ride to and from was long but it is a 15 mile journey.
We enjoyed everything on offer here. Snorkelling, kayaking, walking to the view points, etc.
I would advise that snorkelling alone is an excellent choice with younger children but that the kayaking and view points (especially the first at 400m) will be a struggle with small children or if you are not relatively fit. 400m may not seem a lot but in 80% humidity and 32 degree heat (feels like 38), it is tiring. My daughter is 10 and not the fittest. She really struggled with it and would have stopped half way if she had the choice.
Same could be said of the transfers from boat to land. They are by longtail boat and pontoons. If you are unsteady of your feet, don’t go. Don’t blame someone else if you struggle.
Really enjoyed the snacks and provided, as well as the drinks on offer. All are included.
Don’t expect to be able to do everything in a single day, this is more of a taster visit. If you want to do snorkelling or kayaking for longer, you will need to book something in particular for that alone.
On a massive plus side, don’t expect to be harassed to buy souvenirs. Pretty much none on offer and very low key. I was very grateful of this.
I would give this a four. The long boat ride and it being more of a taster of what is available at the park. Really enjoyed it. The crew were great.

Thank you for your great review. You are right, going to the viewpoints needs reasonable physical fitness (and a good pair of shoes). It's worth the effort even though you go only halfway, however.
We are happy to know that you enjoyed the experience.

The Angthong maritime park is surely worth being visited. Very beautiful maritime landscape ; magic view from the view point that you can reach after 30 mn walking / climbing and... sweating (good physical condition required). The 20 mn kayaking are rather entertaining and anyway more than the short walk to the disappointing Emerald lake and the snorkeling, that gives you no chance to see anything valuable where it was proposed to practice it. But the travel conditions we experienced are definitely much less positive. Not that much the lenght of the travel between Ko Samui and the maritime park (1h45 mn each way), that we knew in advance and that we had chosen (versus the faster trip in Speed boat) for the possibility to move on the boat. But all the rest ! This was mainly due to the extremely high number of passengers on the boat (120 persons on the day we did it, while the travel agency had promised 80 max). This made everything uncomfortable (the least that can be said) and lenghty. Imagine these 120 people queuing at the lunch buffet served on the boat (and the quality of the lunch did not justify it, I can assure you) and trying to find a seat. The transfers between the big boat and the islands (in long tail boats) took also a lot of time (note : speed boat can reach directly the islands). And this is also without considering all the other tourists (and also possibly local pupils) doing the same kind of tour with other boats...Think of it when choosing an option for your tour.

We appreciate your review and we apologize that the big boat riding experience did not meet your expectations. However, we'd like to clarify that the capacity of the boat is 200 passengers, and we specified a maximum of 150 travelers in the additional information on the product page. This big boat tour prioritizes a comfortable ride, which is less bumpy compared to a speed boat. Additionally, due to the size of the boat, passengers are required to transfer to a smaller boat to reach the island. During peak season, there may be some waiting time for this transfer, but it's typically not excessive. We're pleased to note that lunch, based on the reviews we've received, is highly praised and enjoyed by many customers.

After reading the reviews of other travelers, now that everything is fulfilled that you can read.
The service includes pick-up at your Hotel, wherever you are and in my case it was at the furthest point of the island.
Then remember that you have to pay 300bth per person, in addition to the price you have already paid to go on a very cute little boat where they serve you coffee and other drinks during the journey.
Then you have two obligatory stops, one to climb a peak where you have spectacular views, by the way, a climb of one hour in total is not for those who are not a little trained and then another small island where you can practice a little snorkeling.
The food is served on the boat, after waiting in a huge line at a small buffet, where the best thing is the attention given by the boat workers and where the cooperation between the travelers themselves sometimes shines.
This last stop in Lake Esmeralda is a must-see.
In short, you can miss this trip at a very reasonable price

Overall experience was acceptable.
Food :
Simple breakfast, lunch (tad sweet, mainly to cater the Europeans because they can’t eat too spicy food)
Sea experience :
Islands are beautiful. Advice is not to go during monsoon as the tide is high, you can’t do snorkelling. Can’t see the clear waters.
Ship ride was an unforgettable experience. The sea was extremely choppy with gutsy winds and the ride back to samui took about 2hrs 30mins instead of an hour.
Grateful to have a very experience captain who knows how to control the ship to prevent it capsizing. Stressor was evident with people telling the staff to go back to the island to wait for the sea to be less choppy, people started to have extreme seasick and the fear escalated with young children crying and parents were trying to coax and calm them.
Overall suggest to go when it is not typhoon period for better experience!

Visiting the park & hiking to the top view point was amazing. The views are worth it! Unfortunately the boat ride to and from the park were much longer than we were told. It was about 2 hours each way, not one. I would recommend booking a speedboat tour (double the price) rather than the big red one with ALOT of people on it. Would be worth it in my opinion.

Thank you for your review and we are happy that you enjoyed the views. We are sorry for the longer traveling time than expected. Please be informed that, for the big boat, weather has big effects the traveling time. On the strong tide day, the traveling time can be much longer or double the usual time. Speed boat is faster but more bumpier and on the strong tide day it’s also slower than usual and much more bumpier than usual but as you mentioned, it’s faster than big boat.

Can’t beat the value with this inclusive Ang Thong National Marine Park Tour. We were whisked away from our hotel to board the large tour boat. At the ferry terminal you will have to pay for the park’s entrance fee- 300 baht for adults 120 baht for a child; which is not included in your tour package. There are 3 levels- bottom near the engine room, 2nd main level, 3rd limited roof deck. I personally rec the 2nd level with a seat that has a back rest. On a sunny day the l limited top deck is nice to sun bathe. The boat crosses the body of water at a snails pace ~ 12 mph and takes about 2 hrs from Nathon Pier Koh Samui to the Ang Thong National Park. When the boat arrives the passengers are ferried over to the beach in a smaller long boat. You spend 2 hrs at the beach/park. You can hike to the view point 150 m, swim, snorkel, or sun bathe. There are bathroom facilities and a small refreshment cafe if you want to purchase drinks. Then you are ferried back to the big boat for a delicious and fantastic lunch. After lunch we move to the 2nd destination and ferried onto the beach. The lagoon is beautiful but the beach and hike is overcrowded for its size. The lagoon is protected and only for viewing- no swimming. Finally, we head back to Koh Samui and transported to our hotel. Overall, the excursion was great and the value is unbeatable. My rec is to book the tour and visit the beautiful archipelago. As the tours become more commercialized the prices will increase and exclusive.

Prompt collection from resort took us to the dock where we paid our THB300 each for National Park entry and boarded the boat. Our trip was little over half full, so plenty of space. A light breakfast was available on arrival with drinks throughout the trip. Staff were helpful & friendly.
Trip to the small islands took over one hour. Boat was too big to reach the pontoon so we all transferred to smaller long-tailed boats for the final few metres (for each stop). The first stop had a large beach area and good cafe, toilets etc. Main activity was a steep climb up to a viewing point. This was very tiring but good fun & rewarding for those able to do it. Plenty of time (approx 2 hours) was given for this plus swimming (snorkels available) and refreshments.
During a further boat trip, a fixed menu lunch was served. Not to everyone's liking, but good for most. We then visited a second island with small beach and snorkeling area plus opportunity for another climb to see the Blue Lagoon. Not as tough as the first climb but still quite demanding. Very scenic views were the reward. Those opting to include kayaking did so here.
After this, the long trip back with further refreshments.
Overall, a tiring but fun day.
Minor issues included poor speaker quality on the boat such that the English announcements (with strong Thai accent) became unintelligible, so we had to seek guidance from staff at each stop.

Picked up on time!
The transfer to the national park took 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The climb to the perfect photo was very, very strenuous in the high temperatures.
Part of our group climbed back down after the 3rd viewpoint.
The view from above is spectacular.
Then you could cool off a bit in the water. On the
boat there was a delicious buffet with chicken, rice, salad, soup and melon.
At the next spot there was another hike to the lagoon and you could snorkel.
Unfortunately our group had hoped a little too much from "snorkeling" and brought all our equipment with fins.
But unfortunately we didn't need them. You couldn't go on a snorkeling trip in the open sea, nor were there any special snorkeling spots on site. At the last spot you could snorkel in calf-deep water. Unfortunately that was a bit of a disappointment for us!
The trip there and back also took a very long time at 1.40 minutes and the return trip took over 2 hours!
Then maybe with a speedboat?
The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Hi, I wanted to ask, if the boat also picks up people from the pier in Koh Phangan?
Thanks :)
