- JohninEngland0 contributionsLovely experience of sherryA very pleasant tour. We met Andreas in a city centre location, then had a relaxed walk for about 15 minutes to the bodega. During that time Andreas told us something about the history of sherry. At the bodega we looked around the premises and tasted five sherries plus one brandy, some of them drawn from the barrel. The tour really helped our appreciation of the drink, and Andreas' English was very clear. I would suggest this tour needs to be better classified in Trip Advisor. It is listed under 'Tours' but not under 'Food & Drink' so would be easy for someone searching for a sherry experience to miss.Written October 29, 2019

We had a great time and learned a lot about sherry and Jerez. Andreas is super friendly and could answer all our questions. He streched himselves far beyond whant one could expect to give us a brilliant tour and taste of sherry.

We visited Jerez de la Frontera for the weekend and wanted to make the most of our trip so as we've done on other city breaks we took a guided tour with Guru Walks. The whole experience was absolutely 10 put of 10 for us. Our Guru Guide Caroline who's knowledge of the city was astounding which totally reflected her passion for the city. She told the history of the places we visited keeping it lighthearted and interesting which made it a really fun 2 hours for us. We can highly recommend Guru Walks. The walk is free to book and you pay the guide at the end whatever amount you think is fitting. Thank you Caroline and Guru Walks.
