An amazing experience being in the nature with a very cooperative team. They really put a lot of efforts to make our stay comfortable. We saw 5 leopards during the safari including one just passing by our car. Having dinner under the stars was truly mesmerizing. Thank you for making this trip a unique one. :-)

Chitrak Eco Ventures is an authentic camp site set in the scrub forests of the famous Leopard Hills of Jawai Bandh. Spacious tents, clean comfortable beds and bathrooms with running water, all get full marks for satisfaction. The camp follows the sustainability model which means solar lighting and food sourced locally. The piping hot, rustic cuisine is mouth-watering, and is just what one needs after a day full of thrills. For those wishing cultural immersion, there are visits to the local hamlets, which provide interesting insights into the lives of the pastoral communities and their relationship of respect with the jungle and the wild animals in it. Wi-Fi is available, but you will not need it, as the incredibly beautiful surroundings provide the perfect detox from all the stress of work life.
The highlights of the camp are climbing the Jawai Hills, trekking, tracking jungle animals, birding, and staking out leopards under the expert eye of the camp host. Waiting in one of the high machans to spot wildlife on the jungle trails is literally the cherry on the top for both adults and children.
Whatever, your level of fitness you are guaranteed the time of your life away from the urban tensions. Visiting Chitrak Eco Ventures is highly recommended for a “wild” holiday for everyone.
