    Stromma hop on Helsinki (green)
Antitouristic. 19 station only in 6 hours. They leave you in the station and they pick up you after one hour (always delays). It's impossible to see everything in 6 hours, we lost our day because of them. 34€ per person too much money for 6 hours. You don't have the time! Not acceptable!

Sit on the left side of the bus!
I did the 1:45 hour bus only tour. Would have been better if I sat on the left side of the bus. It just could have been better-better sights and history-less parks in the winter. I think dropping people at the rock church for 30 minutes shouldn’t count. Ok way to see the city in the cold.

    Worth doing.
The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get a feel for Helsinki and can save a lot of unnecessary leg work. There are headphones to listen to a commentary and although the tour didn't enthral us we are happy that we did it.

Not a good value for money.
Those booking a tour should keep in mind that last departure is at 4 pm, which is very disappointing if you plan to spend more time exploring the town. They do mention that information on their leaflet.

This was very disappointing. There is a choice of two hop on hop off bus tours. Unfortunately we chose this one, it turned up first at our stop. We bought tickets for the boat trip as well, nearly 100 Euros for two adults. Buses were supposed to be every 40 minutes, they weren't. We got off only twice, first to see the church in the rock, where we waited close to an hour, in the heat with nowhere to sit, then for our boat trip. We finished that at 3pm, went straight to the bus stop to wait for the next bus, so that we could finish our tour. Eventually, when we had given up any hope of a bus, one turned up at just past 4pm, he said that he was not going around again, and was nearly finished. We walked back, very disappointed that we had not even managed to get once round. While we were waiting, we saw several buses from the other company, (every 20 minutes), passing. if you want a reliable bus tour, choose the one saying every 20 minutes. Price is the same, boat trips are the same.

Good way to get to know the city
The best and easiest way to get an overall impression of Helsinki. Choose which of the 19 stops you want to get off and which you are OK with just to drive by. There is good explanation on the earbuds in may languages. Staff is friendly and there is wifi on board. If you get off, there can be some time to wait for the next bus, but an app shows their locations and help you to plan. We found it a good way to get acquainted.

Don’t buy a hop on ticket on the overnight ferry!
Really confusing how’s there’s 2 “hop on” companies but they don’t take each other’s tickets!! We bought tickets on the overnight boat and then were not allowed on the two “hop on” buses that were waiting, and had to stand there for another 30 minutes for a bus that looked identical to the other two and was basically doing the same route. I would recommend not buying a ticket on the boat, buy it from whichever driver is actually ready to go. Also, the sign is hidden in the tree. 😂

Worst hop on and hop off experience.
It is supposed to go every 20 minutes or so. We waited at stop 20 for 20 minutes for a bus and then more than 20 minutes at stop 1. So to get to the cruise ship stop, it took us from 1 pm at stop 20 to 235pm at stop 9. Just as well we allowed a lot of time before ship closes boarding at 330pm. Not sure if it would have made a difference if we walked to stop 3 at the market

    Very disappointing
The trip was as disappointment in three matters. First - the bus used remarkably much time driving around in the harbour area looking for passengers that never appeared from cruise ships. The company should rather offer a special tour for these. Second and more important - the tour never gave us the oppourtunity to SEE the attractions we were driving by. The bus were never closer than 300 m from Temppeliaaukio church; if we payed attention we could see the Sibelius monument for 2 seconds while passing; etc. This could obiously be improved by the company. Third and very poorly managed - the buses never stopped to pick us up again. While we were waiting at stop 13 in Arkadiankatu (in 30' C without a shade), 2 buses passed 40 meters away in Fredrikinkatu without stopping for us. When I called for help at the number given at the stop sign, my call was transferred ad absurdum until i as talking to the sales stand at Senate Square. This was 100€ poorly used.

    Quick way to visit Helsinki
If you are only spending one day for visiting Helsinki, this becomes a very good option. You can reach most important places of the city, and it also includes a tour on the bay

    April to October.
Probably deserves 5 stars, but we didn’t get to use it because we bought Helsinki card based on using bus, but didn’t realize we were out of season. Great city for this type of introduction/tour. We used Helsinki card for one museum and one train ride. Would have been cheaper without card.

Stromma Finland hop on hop off and canal boat tour
Not much to see at the canal boat tour. Disrespect by one of the Stromma's Hop on Hop off bus drivers suspicious of us using fake bus passes to get on the tour bus. We felt being insulted and degraded. Wait time is long at each stop.

Helsinki Sightseeing by Stromma with several great tours and friendly staff
I and my friends had an one-day visit to Helsinki and were able to go by Stromma's "Hop On - Hop Off Bus Citysightseeing Helsinki" and "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" tours. Both are great tours. "Hop On - Hop Off Citysightseeing Helsinki" is of course a more flexible way to discover Helsinki if you want to combine the day with many other things. Comfortable buses, audio devices working well, I preferred English audio language instead of the Swedish even I'm Swedish, nicer voice. For those who likes design and architectural history I would recommend the "Urban Helsinki Bus Sightseeing" - a 1:45hr tour of Helsinki’s architectural history, the city’s modern residential areas, the urban districts and the historical areas, as well a 45-minute stop at the Iittala and Arabia Design Centre & Museum. Stromma does offer several other various tours within and around Helsinki. In the common all of the tours have friendly Stromma staff. Also when getting in contact by phone or mail my experience is that they're friendly and do help out with any questions. Also Stromma will organize a live guided tour on Christmas Day. Maybe Stromma will bring Santa Claus?

    Great site seeing experience
Buses were waiting on the quay when we left the ship. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We were able to get off and do some site seeing and did not have to wait more than 10mins to hop on another bus. Would certainly recommend this although we booked in advance online ....really don't think you need to do this. Buses are readily available from the quay although cruise lines/travel agents will not advise you of this. Great experience.

    Good Way to See City
The bus was very good thing to do. Easy to find and very friendly crew. We were given map of stops and ear buds to listen to narrative of trip. Given in many languages so all could listen. Drivers were very helpful to find sites and with directions on how to get there.
