    Awful security guards
We've waited all year to experience this holiday. And taking my young 3 children on they're very first trip abroad. We are staying in the Newport bay club and staff in the hotel have been lovely. Room is lovely and clean plenty of space etc. Bit of a que for some rides but that's fine and was expected. My issue is if you are coming here with young children don't expect some of the security guards to be helpful. I've had the most awful experience tonight and the attitude and professionalism of the 2 security guards I had the pleasure of bumping into has left me so angry. Infuriated and sent me absolutely crazy. We had left the park after a fabulous fireworks display myself 3 children (one in a pram) amd the rest of my family. It was heaving took us a while to exit. Myself and the baby in the pram got stuck in the crowd and my other 2 went ahead of me. I was stuck in the line as we all were like a heard of cows and I accidentally turned at the wrong exit quickly realised what I did at the gate and turned around quickly to catch up with my other 2 children who are 7 and 8. I was stopped by 2 security men who started shouting at ne that I'd have to leave and go in a direction I was unfamiliar with. I explained I needed to get my children and pointed at where they were heading which was just past Annette's dinner they said I had to go that way. I again told them my children are potentially on they're own I need to go to them they told me tough and that they didn't care and were pointing at where I should go. I got so anxious and upsett by this point I was trying to phone my other family members but couldn't get through I then started shouting out of fear they were so horrible and nasty. The whole thing was totally unbelievable. There I am standing there telling them my 2 young children are potentially on they're own and 2 security guards who are payed to assist and take care of paying customers of the park just didn't give a s##t. I don't know how many times I tried to explain what had happened but they wouldn't listen.. I had no choice in the end but to scream the place down and only then they allowed me to go in after causing such a scene. I got through to my dad eventually and thankfully told me my other 2 children were with my mum. My dad came down to meet me because I was so in shock and upset. He went to ask the 2 security guards for badge numbers one was very confrontational with him and pushed his upper body into him to show his badge. Got back to the hotel to make a complaint and found out they had lied to cover they're tracks and said I was trying to enter the disney village when that wasn't really the case so just shows they didn't listen to a word I said. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from 2 individuals who's duty of care basically is there to protect the guests but they couldn't give 2 hoots that a 7 and 8 year old could have been wondering the place on they're own. Them laughing at me when I was clearly upset says it all.

    Disappointed
Avoid this park. Prices are disgusting. Costing nearly 3pound for a bottle of coke also 16pound for a burger meal. The airport staff fobbed us off every chance they got and directed us to the wrong places resulting in us missing our train, which may I add are not as priced as online but 4 to 5 euros more. Costing us double for another ticket. We were given a room that was currently being occupied, walking in on another guest in there own room. And then the cost of snacks and merchandise etc which nothing was under 4 euros you can easily spend a couple of grand here if you are a family of four, Its all a big money grabbing scam. The happiest place on earth ,yeah If your financially able to or it ruins everything

    Disneyland Paris, partially festive
Disappointed by the lack of festive decorations and also by the number of rides and areas closed due to renovations. Appreciate work needs to be done but you buy your full price tickets and don’t get full use. Main Disney park had more open than the Hollywood Studio park! Stayed at Sequoia lodge got a nice view, rough loo roll and rough paper thin towels. Supplied with lamp, coffee machine and kettle with only one plug socket.

Rides breaking down left and right Rudest staff ever. Overpriced and poor quality of souvenirs/clothes. Fix the problems or lower the prices.

Massive, lots of fun…for the adults 🤣
Spent a full day, well 5 hours navigating the many different rides and attractions, lots of things to see and do, maybe more lights and night, some places difficult to see, plenty of places to eat, toilets when you could find them, signs would help, but we still had a good time, cold and damp weather didn’t stop us and waiting time for rides was fine, us adults loved it!!!

    Frustrated, disappointed and infuriated.
Worst Disneyland so far (I’ve been to the parks in Tokyo, Hong Kong and California). We left this place devastated and frustrated from our experience. We were treated so badly because we were Malaysian Indians and didn’t look French of course . Most of the staffs were rude to us (especially Casey’s corner, the waiter was Indian and assumed we were from India, started arguing with us, pushed us back ) . Some kind of racism going on around here . Some rides had technical issues while riding it. Kept stopping and restarting back. Rests of the guests were also rude to us, one man pushed us and his lady showed the middle finger to us. We were shocked to see this kind of attitude. There was also a point when a mother quickly pulled her child away when she passed by us. It’s not like we were gonna kidnap her child! The worst part was when we returned to the train station to board the train back to our hotel, we were targets of a pickpocket attempt at Marne La Vallée Chessy station. The pickpocket took my mom’s purse and to her dismay there was no cash/credit card inside (we have kept it elsewhere) , so the pickpocket threw away the purse and left the train. Honestly, we didn’t feel safe at all. Not even at Disneyland. We will not be returning to Paris ever. No one treats us well , always rude to us, and has some kind of stereotype about Indians. It was a mistake thinking Paris Disneyland would be a happy place! Regret our decision visiting this place filled with racism.

Disneyland Paris is mostly for residents living in France
Disneyland Paris is a nice place with good rides and fun parks with nice themes, and best of all the two parks are next to each other. But you mostly get good service if you speak french. They’re horrible at english - even though Disneyland Paris has existed since 1992. Everything is mostly in french (rides, shows and signs) and their merchandise is in french. There is no guest service in the park like in all parks in Disney World, so you’re on your own most of the time.

I would strongly recommend a visit at Christmastime. Despite it being colder, it was totally worth it and we just wrapped up. Don't miss the shows, they are incredible!

    Never again
Absolutely shocking. Nothing there is edible service is terrible. The restaurant staff are dam rude. No Supermarchés in the resort or surrounding areas unless you drive so forced to pay extortionate prices for garbage microwave food. Just go your local theme park and save your money. Plus it’s that busy your like sheep in a pen

    Good!
Loved it! So did my kids! Rides were very fun but food wasn’t very good. I think they could’ve put the lands in better areas as it felt like stuff was randomly next to eachother.

    Good in parts
Good but if you’ve done or planning to do America Disney… save your money for that! Needs more rides, not as big as advertised and lots or regenerations happening currently. Was half term when we went so busy as you’d expect but queue jumping not worth the cost imo. Enjoyed the drone display but fireworks were poor. Shops and food expensive but the food was good! Everything comfortably done in 3 days.

Ratatouille was a highlight and different as well as Lion King Show
Definitely need to check this Disneyland out- we had just a one day ticket luckily the snow had settled but it was still cold and luckily not as crowded as I know Disneyland can be. Different experience with cold and snow but the highlight was the Ratatouille ride-meal and the associated food chalets with cheesy food if we hadn’t booked for dinner I would have definitely eaten there. the lion king show was really good singing and dancing and acrobatic acts.It was great to tick this Disneyland off our list not one of the bigger ones but still worth seeing.

There needs to be more rides
We stayed on site for 3 nights & easily got everything done. Mid week in December. One night was very foggy and you couldn’t see the drone show and they cancelled the fireworks. The fast pass was very expensive, over €20 per person on some rides. So we didn’t buy it. We didn’t do drop drop, but these are the rides to head to if you do. Or wait until late when the fireworks are about to start. Our longest queue of just over an hour was Peter Pan & Crush Coaster. Both good rides. Our must do was to buy a plastic keepsake glass of champagne. €20 each, but lovely. Only buy on food cart at end of Main Street outside Gibson Girl. I did get to keep a cork too. Favourite ride is Thunder Mountain. Better and faster than Florida. We did it after dark and the lighting make it even more thrilling. Indiana Jones is a quick moving queue & the upside down loop wasn’t that bad. Everyday at least 1 main ride broke down. Space Mountain & Pinocchio were. Loved for refurb. There is lots of disruption due to building works. Food and alcohol is very expensive everywhere. Lots of shops with same stuff. We found the jewellery quite reasonably priced. I agree with an earlier review, too much LILO & Stitch stuff. The park was crowded and the parade route is short. Very good light parade. There was something in the afternoon but it wasn’t listed on the App? We just bumped into it at the main entrance. Mickey, Minnie & Santa at the station & Goofy & dancers in street. This was 2.30pm. The drone show is good but could be better. The fireworks are really sad compared to Florida and the music was unmemorable. A lot of stuff is in French. Star Tours was in French. Why can’t they also have rides in English like they do with some of the shows. The park & the hotels are all looking very tired. Dull paint work and scruffy pavements. Not magical at all. We love Christmas, but felt there should have been more decorations in Studios and Disney village. I think the parks must look really sad when not decorated. Most of the queuing areas are outside. So you are out in the cold or heat, also not shade if it rains or is really sunny.

    Disney trip 2024
Me and my partner came here for 5 nights and stayed in the Newport bay hotel this hotel was lovely the room was Clean and big, we had a few issues with the bath not really holding the water properly and house keeping not changing the bed unless reminded too but we quickly got this sorted by speaking to reception, the park it’s self was good aswell lots of shops for all the merch we found different things in the shops so not all the same stuff everywhere the only slight issue we had was the food quality obviously we know this is a Disney theme park and the food wouldn’t be cheap but that wasn’t the issue the quality was not great in cowboy cook out and pym kitchen, however Walt’s, plaza gardens and remys were great overall the park was busy however does get quieter in the mornings and evenings

    Disney at Christmas - Lovely!
I visited Disneyland Paris in December with my partner and two year old son. I have been to Paris a handful of times but i have been lucky enough to also experience Disney World in Florida. Disneyland is split into two parks -: Disneyland which is the equivalent to Magic Kingdom and is basically the same as the US one and the other park, which is next door, is Walt Disney Studios, similar to Disney MGM studios in Florida but smaller.. This review is merely about Disneyland. Firstly, i stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and although expensive it was really worth the money due to the ease of access with it directly next to the entrance to the park. I prefer visiting Disneyland at Christmas time due to the generic atmosphere and the Christmas Spirit, from walking down Main Street seeing the snow falling down to the christmas parades that take place. Each morning at opening Mickey and Minnie stand on the balcony looking down at the guests and waving and we noticed this was every morning which was nice for the little ones. I will break the review down into the main Pro’s and cons -: Pro’s - The Atmosphere throughout the park, especially at Christmas, is amazing and well presented with the Christmas tree and decorations and the spirit of Christmas throughout the entire park from the music to the various different stalls and drinks servers scattered around. I often forgot about the struggles of life whilst enjoying myself throughout the park. The staff were friendly and accommodating and there were many about. I don’t think i had any staff member who was rude or gave a negative attitude and many were forthcoming to help you where needed. The shops were not too badly priced for presents such as toys and the prices i paid is something i would expect to pay even if back in England. I did think it would be considerably more considering where we were but it wasn’t too bad. Cons-: There is literally shops everywhere selling the same stuff, i think this could be cut down and maybe consider more rides or activities instead of the constant shop after shop. Ensure you get to the fireworks early (from 9pm i would reserve) as this can get very very busy with crowds and you often find yourself being pushed or barged. Also check the weather as we watched the fireworks/laser show when fog set in and the castle could not be seen at all to which most people left. This will save a wasted trip, also if there is wind or any sign of bad weather the drones will not be flown which can affect the electric show. Speaking of the electric show i wasn’t really fond of it and i personally feel it is not Disney enough, if that makes sense. Where are all the characters hiding? We literally saw the same characters in the same place every day such as Winnie the Pooh at the entrance, Balou by Adventure Land however there was no Mary Poppins, Buzz Lightyear or any other main character at all however i personally saw Chip and Dale so many times but i don’t think i even knew who they were until someone told me. I think times have changed now where children watch more modern disney programmes/movies so therefore more options would be better character wise rather than the same ones. Very busy which causes the queue times to be very long. Fastpass is also around £9 per ride which you can only use once, the “unlimited fastpass” also only allows you to go onto a ride only once and cannot be used numerous times so be careful of that. i love Christmas at Disney and as much as i have mentioned the cons i still cannot get over the happiness on my childs face when he see’s woody or the lights and for that i will continue to come each year however i think people need to realise that this is Disney, it is a business which is famous worldwide so therefore they need to expect some of the prices to be higher than expected.

Feel very mixed about our visit. Lots to love - the carefully crafted look, often using ‘real’ building materials, the steam train, the staff costumes - themed for each area, the beautiful flowerbeds, and, of course, the rides.

We there early (breakfast in McDonalds in the Village) and 1 day was enough to go on most of the rides we wanted to. We all loved 3D Ratatouille ride, with smells of oranges and gas cooker, the Spider-Man WEB ride with web flinging with hands was v clever, Peter Pan for a ride above starlit London, Phantom Manor for the ghost projections and Big Thunder mountain coaster for great set and long lasting ride (not too steep drops).

But…the greedy aspects of this corporation really let it down. Ridiculously high cost for poor quality food (11€ for a hotdog, €6 for small tub of candy floss..) and far more shop space than space to sit when you bought the food, which led us witnessing people becoming aggressive with each other. Is this the spirit of Disney? Huge queues for everything, even toilets. No opps for refilling water bottles. Extortionate fast passes which are unaffordable for most. A reflection of society perhaps, but thought (wished upon a star?) that Disney would do better.

Most of this is easily solved by one thing: limit number of tickets each day. Improve quality of food and/or sell for less. People will buy more, queue less, have a wonderful experience, feel the Disney magic and come again.

Until that miracle happens, my tips are: take all your own food, treats and water (and ear headband if that’s your thing), research ride wait times on app well before you visit, take waterproofs and v comfy shoes.

Having been to Disneyland California as a child, I was curious to see how the Parisian version would compare, and was pleasantly surprised. We did have significant difficulty getting here due to a sudden train strike, but this is not the park's fault; usually you can catch one train that takes you all the way here, though on our visit we had to take two buses and a train.
Staff were friendly and the majority of them spoke fantastic English. Food was on the pricey side but this is to be expected from a theme park; two burger meals cost us around 30 Euros. Our ticket encompassed both parks, though Walt Disney Studios Park was a bit underwhelming and would be more suited for families with small children; most of the rides in this park were for a younger audience.
My only major complaint is that none of the gift stores sold mouse ear hats; while I still bought a pair of headband ears I was disappointed, as I remember in California they had a wide selection of mouse ear hats.
If you're looking for some good Disney entertainment while in France, I'd recommend paying this park a visit. Not as good as California, but was still a great experience.

Paid 80euros extra each fir fast track tickets on top of the admission 50euros tickets each!! What a Con!! Most of the rides didn’t accept premier entry so we went through on solo person entry (which if we had known about would have saved us 160euros, as you don’t need to pay for that.
Toilet areas dirty, broken seats, no hand wash.
14euros for a slice of pizza (that looked dried up on bread). I have been to Disney in Florida and Paris 20 years ago and definitely will not be returning. All areas looked dirty, unkept and staff demoralised. Too many retail tat stores selling overpriced merchandise.
Shame on you Disney for exploiting families - people will now vote with their feet not to come to you. Definitely not an enjoyable experience. We left after fours hours as just incredibly overwhelming.
Uk papers too have reported this week that reports from Disney US reflect my same comments above.

Forget everything about “Magical moments” you heard about Disney. This park in Paris is ready to provide a very stressful and underwhelming experience.

One of the most anticipated moments in any Disney Park is the “Disney Illuminations” fireworks show. Well, on May.25 2022 that show lasted for only 3 minutes, being interrupted abruptly with no further explanation. A great disappointment for my 67-year-old Dad, who was patiently waiting in his wheelchair for over an hour for the show. No employee was able to explain whether the show would resume or not, and no kind of proper explanation or compensation was offered.

Earlier the day, my Dad also had to wait for over 1 hour to prove that his wheelchair was necessary, otherwise, he would have his entry to the attractions denied.

At Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney’s values are just a means for tricky visitors to change their money for a very suboptimal experience

Don't spend your money on giving your kids an experience because you're going to be terribly disappointed.
Everything in this park is made to make money, he thinks so much about making money that he forgets the main thing which is to entertain people.
On the site, almost nothing happens, we saw 3 performances in the whole day that we were there.
A burger, a fries and a cola = $30....
They boarded up all the power outlets so we couldn't charge our cell phones, because they rent batteries for $10 for 2 hrs.
Nothing interesting for our children aged 10 and 12 on the site.
too many shops to sell derivative products.
The wait is about 1 hour for barely 5 minutes of ride.
I had reserved a restaurant via the disney application which asked me which park we were in and he advised me of a restaurant which was not in our park and to go there you had to pay again for access to the other park, result we had to return to our park where all the restaurants were full.
The entrance fee for our family of 4 to Disney Studio park cost almost $1000 for two adults and two children, today I will be given free tickets and I will not go back.
Walt Disney would be very disappointed to see what happened to his amusement parks... he must flip aroud to his grave...

We went to Disneyland as a family. We took the Premier access option. The cost was EUR 1,100 for a day for 2 adults and 2 children aged 8&11. The ticket covered one park. We chose Disneyland Park.

What a disappointment. The park is small with the Premier access option (we could skip the queues). There are 2-3 fun rides maybe.

The food was terrible. The service too. They even said that beer had run out?

The Premier Access option gives you one access skipping the queues and not multiple. What a waste of money. EUR 180 each for this option and we could skip the line maybe for 5 rides. Some rides don‘t have the option.

We are big Europapark fans in Germany and I have to say that the Disneyland Paris experience is terrible in comparison and way too expensive for what it offers.

I would not recommend it to anyone.

Cheers, Mischa

Hello . We did 3 days Disneyland . Was a good experience for kids not so good for us , adults. Longggg queues and not so helpful staff. It happens a couple of time to go for an attraction and when we arrive there was closed( even if on the map was showing it was open) . When we asked the staff what happened they were very unpleasant saying is not there fault and everything the excuse was a technical problem ( everyday at the same time ).
Food is horrible ( cold fast food ) . To find an restaurant you have to reserve 2 months in advance.
If you don’t want to wait to much in line for an attraction buy premium Disney which is extra for each attraction.
You can bring your sandwiches and drinks .
The show from 21:00 is amazing and the parade at 17:30 too
If you have the possibility take an umbrella or a raincoat . You can buy there in the shop but is expensive.

Good evening, Thank you for taking the time to share your feeling following your recent visit within our Disneyland Park. Although we are pleased to see the youngest participants had a magical time we are sorry to read the perception was not exactly the same for you. Hoping you will give us another opportunity to demonstrate you Disneyland Paris is a magical place both for children and accompanying adults. I went to Disneyland Paris about 10 times in my life and only one word can describe the feeling I have experienced each time: magical. This place is perfect if you are a big Disney fan and you want to escape from reality a couple of days or only a couple hours. It is filled with joy coming from the public and the cast members. But it is quite expensive to only spend a few days at the park and it is a bit far from Paris so you have to sleep in the Disney's hotel and eat in the park if you are there for a few days, which had a cost to the already expensive price of the tickets. Last time I went there, it was in June of 2022 so I didn't experienced the new avengers campus and can't say if I like it or not. But I know the rest of the park, and the attractions and decoration are simply fantastic. I can't compare it to other Disney parks either because I never visited others. But in my opinion this park is magical and a lifetime experience if you are a Disney fan. I recommend going there for 2 or 3 days if you never went so you can have the time to walk around the 2 different parks and do as many attractions as you want. It also allows you to really disconnect and escape from reality.

After paying £170 for 2 tickets, I didn't expect to then have to pay €30 for parking what an absolute rip off. So that wasn't the best start to the day.
The queue waiting time for Dumbo was over an hour despite saying 30mins on the app. If travelling with very yound children I would say don't bother. To pay £170 for tickets to go on 6 rides in 7 hours is just crazy. Considering it is the 30th anniversary you would expect something a little more magical other than one float going around two extra times in the day very poor. The Christmas parade was good but again not very long. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon in a hurry. Also prices in the shops again just over priced. €48 on some Minnie ears and a plastic mermaid toy. We didn't eat any food there as we took our own and thank god we did otherwise that probably would have been another £100. I would say dont waste your money and go somewhere else on holiday as a family.

This journey was a true fairy tale for me and my family. We went to Disneyland Paris and created unforgettable memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Disneyland turned out to be an exciting place for all age groups. The park impresses with its grandeur and entertainment. The animation, parades of fairy tale characters, and shows are top-notch.
However, it's worth noting that the cafes in the park are not cheap, so if you're traveling on a budget, it's advisable to bring some snacks with you. This will help avoid significant expenses.
Nevertheless, it's important to consider the large number of people and, consequently, long queues for attractions. Sometimes, you have to wait 2-3 hours for a 5-minute thrill. This can become quite tedious.
Overall, my journey to Disneyland Paris was unforgettable. It's a place where your dreams come true. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a magical world and have unforgettable experiences.
