I cannot explain how bad this tour was, after 5 hours of kayaking heading back looked like a big storm coming. Instead of taking shelter at the information centre, our tour guide (jan) thought it would be a good idea to out paddle the storm. When it was tooo late we were in the middle of the lake with waves bigger than the kayak, hail lightning and water tornadoes which did capsize a kayak they were in the water crying, and our tour guide was no where to be seen, felt like it was everyone for them self. Than we had to take shelter in dense bushland in the hail rain and lightning for an hour freezing. They said we could not walk back, but no one wanted to get back in the water. It was because they didn’t want to leave the kayaks there, they would rather traumatised people get back in the stormy waters. After having no choice but to kayak back we were getting swept out again with tour guides no where in site to help. They need to review there emergency procedures as this was far from ok.

My wife, teenage daughter and myself did a half day guided Everglades kayak tour. We had a large group 16 with variable experience in paddling however the guides were knowledgeable and professional and helped us all to get there and back. The trip itself was beautiful and not too challenging for non paddlers. The half way point brought us to a pre prepared morning tea which was very generous and a welcome break. Overall we loved the experience and had great fun

We first did this tour in December 2023 and loved it so much we came back for a second go - and it will not be our last! Terrific guides, stunning views, great lunch. The river is breath-taking, and the sea-kayaks are the perfect way to explore it. A superbly run tour.

We went on a one day guided kanu trip in the Everglades with Josh and Leisal. They were excellent, always aware of which participants needed extra help, patient and responsible. My husband has mobility issues and Josh was brilliant. We went on a dummy-run with him the week before to check that my husband could get in and out of the kanu (he could with help) and was comfortable. Josh made it clear that everyone was valued and equal, regardless of circumstance or experience. Highly recommend. Carin

We when we called Kanu Kapers, they were unable to provide the service that we needed on the day that we had available. However, the staff member continued to be very friendly, relaxed and helpful. He pointed at us in the right direction. Very impressive customer service!

We had an amazing kayaking experience with Liesl and Jan. It was just so peaceful and we loved every minute of it. We liked the fact that our guides had a great knowledge of the area. They were also very accommodating to everyone in the group and checked in with everyone. The lunch was an absolute feast. The weather was also great.

I went on this trip with my siblings and in-laws after my parents had recommended it and we absolutely loved it! The tour guides, Jan and Liesl were super friendly and attentive to the group's needs and energy levels. Morning tea and lunch were delicious and we saw lots of interesting wildlife like azure kingfishers and goannas. Thank you so much for a wonderfully peaceful and rejuvenating opportunity to reconnect with the beautiful nature.

What an amazing day kayaking with Liesl. He was patient, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He made the day a great success for my family (helped out my younger daughter to kayak). The lunch spread was incredible. We had a great day and highly recommend this tour.

This guided full day tour lived up to the expectations. We were fortunate to have calm and cooler conditions but the experience was wonderful. Jan was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. He managed to ensure all in the group felt comfortable. The highlight of the provided lunch would have to be the freshly brewed coffee, whilst the highlight of the kayaking was the serenity and natural beauty of the Noosa Everglades.

I had a lovely day kayaking in the Noosa Everglades on the 1-day guided tour! The scenery was stunning, our guides very friendly and told us many interesting things on the surrounding environments and animals. The tour also included swimming in the river and a delicious lunch in the bush. The tour is quite long so a medium level of fitness is required, but the views will reward you. This was the highlight of my trip in Noosa and I totally recommend it!

We spent a fantastic time kayaking down the Everglades on the national Holiday weekend. Such a unique experience and something we’d definitely do again if in the area. Apart from the unique views, highlights were the swim halfway which really cooled us off, the info shared by the guides (we didn’t really know anything about what the Everglades were) and the lovely lunch we were served which was excellent and very much needed!

The best way to experience the natural beauty of the Noosa Everglades is from the water. I went on the guided kayak tour with Kanu Kaspers and I definitely would do it again. But I guess I would like to do the 3 day self guided camping trip next time. So I would have the chance to kayak longer and see more of the Noosa Everglades. The two tour guides were great introducing everyone to the kayaks and later they had lots of interesting information about the nature and other points of interest. The kayaks were very high standard sit in kayaks and it was very much fun kayaking with them. The nature is stunning and you really should do both short walks on the two stopps. Only make sure to wear your shoes on them- The lunch was also very good an they had a big variety of toppings for you sandwhich. Also the salads were very tasty. Look out for the goanna who might hang around the picknick ground.
