Breathtaking experience at Marinka Waterfall in Minca! This trip was well-planned from start to finish. The journey to the waterfall was an adventure in itself, with stunning views of the lush mountainside along the way. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our amazing tour guide and took another ride in a 4x4 to arrive at the entrance of the waterfalls. The sight and sound of the cascading waterfall – truly a sight to behold. The crystal-clear water was refreshing, and swimming in the water was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, enriching the excursion with his tips and took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch. He provided us with everything we needed for a successful excursion. This trip exceeded all expectations and left us with memories to last a lifetime. A must-do for anyone visiting Minca!

Birdwatching is amazing, definitely one of the best things to do in Minca. Learn from us though, don't book through trip advisor, just get it directly from jungle joe at his office in minca, it's literally half the price of this online one!

An incredible bird watching tour for birders and novices, alike. There are so many birds in this region it’s unbelievable and our guide Tony can identify them all via sight and sound. At the midpoint of the tour you get to stop and have some coffee or chocolate at an incredible viewpoint where you can see for kilometers. You can just sit relax and watch the birds as they fly to you. We saw lots of toucans which was very fun. Also, the binoculars the tour provides are excellent. Highly recommend!

We were picked up from our Hotel. It’s only a 45 minute drive to Minca with amazing views along the way. Mario was an excellent guide with lots of stories and humour. The first stop was coffee making with Gonzalo. He was very young and knowledgeable and delivered the information with good energy. The water fall was great and a very welcoming swim in cool water after a hike through the heat. The chocolate part of the tour was very enjoyable with amazing flavours and a nice surprises.

Nelcy and Federico were extremely attentive and awesome. We got to learn from the culture from Minca and all of the majestic of their nature, wild, and ecosystem. The lunch and cocoa workshop was amazing along with the waterfall and the motorcycle ride. It was one of the highlights of my vacations in Colombia and I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Santa Marta or any of their nearby neighborhoods. A great tour with a very knowledgeable guide through some beautiful terrain. Also, we were lucky on the day in seeing so many different species.

This experience exceeded all expectations. The tour guides were amazing and extremely knowledgeable of everything, from the plants you’d hike by to the process of coffee and cocoa! You’ll come across different varieties of animals and birds! Get ready for an authentic ride in motorcycles though the jungle, enjoy the ride and get ready to live the most unforgettable experience!!!

This was such a fun day. Got picked up in a cab and drove for an hour to Minca town. There we were picked up by the guides on their motorbikes. They drove us to the waterfalls first and left us plenty of time to swim. Then we drove to the top of the mountain to the Sierra Minca hostel and we had 2 hours there to enjoy the views and swim in the heated pool. My only thought was they could leave us some time to wander in Minca town before getting the cab to take us back to Santa Marta.

The tour bus simply didn't show up after I booked a ticket, even though the organizer even confirmed details by email... well that was a day wasted.

Excellent helpful staff, very accommodating, the days activities were fantastic, a personal favorite was the motorcycle ride up to and back from the sierra extrema old house. My guide was very friendly, easy to get along with, and he was great to practice my Spanish with. The whole crew at Minca Extreme treated us like family.

It was an excellent experience with the team staff, they showed us the way and the important places. additionally they were very kind and responsive. I would recommend them whenever I can.

Minca is a magical place and Tovar tours is the way to visit such a special site. His professionalism and care for the bio security protocols are outstanding. We hope to come back to Minca but only is Gonzalo and Nelcy care for our adventure!!!

I had a great time at Minca, beautiful place full of nature, rivers, butterflies, birds and so, perfect for picture taking, one of my favorite activities was the Full day tour with Tovar Extreme, we took a motorcycle up the Sierra Nevada mountain, visited great spots, beautiful waterfalls, Coffee and Cacao tours conducted by profecionals, it was affordable, fun and educational, the guide was great and we got to enjoy each spot no rush, by the end of the tour I was exhausted, they dropped me off at my Hostal, I liked it so much that I booked the Bird Watching Tour for the next morning, I got to see beautiful birds, I saw Toucans for the first time in my life, it was awesome, I strongly recommend it. Thank you Tovar Extreme, I had a great time!!!

Had an amazing bird watching trip with Antonio Martin He is an ornithologist and biologist and is incredibly knowledgeable about the birds in the area. He was able to identify them by sound, find them and point them out which really added to the day Fidel was also really helpful and accommodating We had a fantastic day 10/10 We were picked up at Tayrona but it would be better to stay at Minca
