- Kkap202020 contributionsNice, informative tourWe enjoyed the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable. She was a local so could talk not just about the Titanic/Lusitania but the town as well. We covered a lot of ground, and everything our guide discussed was interesting. We only wish we could've gone inside the Titanic Experience museum as part of the tour (though that would've been tough to do in an hour)!Written August 14, 2024
- Howlo0 contributionsGood way to ExploreAs you approach the town there are lots of volunteers handing out maps and giving advice and help to ensure your visit is rewarding and enjoyable.Written August 11, 2024
- wendykirk20180 contributionsHistory of Cobh & Titanic by Dr Micheal MartinOur guide Michael Martin historian was really knowledgeable about Cobh and gave lots of interesting facts about the Titanic and its last voyage. Would definitely recommend this trip, easy walking very interesting and great value for money.Written August 2, 2024
- GreenMtTraveler0 contributionsLots of Information & Standing Around, Little walkingThe information given by our guide, Dr. Michael Martin was fascinating. There is so much information, so little walking, LOTS of time spent standing. This would be great for someone who didn't want to walk or had issues with mobility. We only walked within a 1-2 block area, from one side of the main street to the other. I would recommend the tour solely based on the information given.Written July 31, 2024
- 631chipr0 contributionsGreat walking tour!Marian is an excellent guide! We had fun and learned a lot of fascinating information about both the Titanic voyage and Cobh (pronounced Cove) Ireland. And if you’re wondering, yes, the fictional Jack in the Titanic movie would have boarded the ship here.Written July 8, 2024

Learned interesting things about the Titanic and when it stopped in Cobh. Just a bit over an hour long. Does involve walking a hill.Written July 6, 2024

We had a great time with Pat walking around beautiful Cobh and hearing ghost stories. I really enjoyed meeting Pat, he's a great storyteller and also very funny! I loved that he had personal experience with all of the stories so he was able to give a lot of the historical information and even other historical facts about the places we passed along the way. I hope to see him again when we return to Cobh on a future trip!

It was fantastic!! Super interesting to hear the stories of people around Cobh and their own haunting, especially from the perspective of a critic! Loved the story telling and the little walk we took. Couldn’t recommend enough!

It was an ok tour but some of the tales told didn’t flow so well in terms of background and context. Also, we found the tour to be simply too pricey for what it was- around 22 euros each for 1 hour whereas other tours in the area such as the Kinsale ghost tour is only 12 euros per person.
