Plitvice National Park is a must see. Amazing views and beautiful clear water. Our tour guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.

      Grumpy unhelpful skipper
Went with my teen kids for an adventure on a beautiful sailing boat trip. The islands and the sea are absolutely stunning. We had fun and enjoyed ourselves and our own company, but the skipper was very grumpy, didn’t engage with us at all, unfriendly and unhelpful, didn’t help the kids from the water, as it was difficult to climb the little ladder, didn’t offer to get into the cabin as we were very cold in our wet swimming costumes and it was very windy. He didn’t like water, didn’t communicate with us, just smoked cigarettes all the time and didn’t tell us anything about sailing or involve the kids in any of the activities. He even offered to keep sailing and not to stop on the beautiful little island, in my opinion for not having to do all the work with winding down the sails and mooring. Such a shame as we came all the way from Murter island and this was probably our first and last sailing trip ever. I found Croatian hospitality non existent as this was not the first time we were treated like that and being ignored as customers and guests.

      Ante- the best skipper
The sailing was amazing, very fun and beautiful. Our skipper - Ante was very good looking, responsive, funny, charismatic, charming and entertaining - told us lots of interesting things about the local islands and showed us the best water jumps.

      Great sailing day
Relaxing day out on a sailboot heading to Kornati National Park and Telascica. Great skipper Mario with huge knowledge about Zadar and the Islands. We enjoyed sailing quite fast.

      Shady Tour
Don’t waste your time with this event. I booked their service through Expedia arrived at 9 like we were told. Waited 15 mins before trying to call and no response. Expedia tried to call and no answer. I texted them through WhatsApp they read my text and didn’t respond back. Terrible customer service

Do not risk your money on this.
we waited at the meeting point and nobody turned up! after several phone calls to the organiser we were told the host decided to cancel but not inform us! we had to push several times for refund and when it finally hit the bank it was £30 short. we have since chased this by text and email but no joy. do not go anywhere near this event would be our advice.

Memorable time on the San Luca Magno
We had such a great experience sailing on board the San Luca Magno! It was just 3 of us - my wife, my 24 year-od son and myself, along with 2 crew. We opted for the ½-day sail out of Zadar (Tankerkomerc Marina). We sailed across the channel to Uvala Frnaza Bay on the Uglan Island. There were just a few other boats anchored in the bay, and it was a really tranquil spot with crystal-clear water. We swam, tried to paddle-board, and went ashore briefly (there is no beach, but a pebbly little cove). We were served a really good lunch with lots of cold cuts, fresh bread, cheese, eggs, olives, and different kinds of salads. We ate really well. We were also served 2 kinds of wine, and were given a liqueur as an aperitif. From there, we motored over to the village of Preko. There is a tiny island called Galovac that you can swim over to (there is a also a very small boat you can hire, but swimming was more fun. Anyway, we had such a positive experience. Our host Zoran was very friendly and interesting. Our young captain (I think his name was Donir, but am not certain) was professional, and also let us taste some Grappa that his grandfather made. We highly recommend this outfit!

      Wild and authentic experience
We shared a wonderful day with our skipper Daniel Going to the Kornati islands by sailing boat is so much better than fast boat because : . the group is max 7 people . the trip is wild and authentic, perfect to enjoy the sea and the nature (we weren’t lucky with the wind so we had mainly to use the engine but it was pleasant as well) . there is a stop to swim and you can really enjoy without being surrounded by other tourists We definitively recommend the activity as well as this company (good boats and serious skippers)

      Very nice experience :)
The trip was beautiful and easily a highlight of our travel. You'll get a trip to a natural protected island, then to a lagoon where you'll be able to swim freely. Drinks and food are not inclused so take what you need beforehand and a bag to pick up your trash. The nature is still very well preserved everywhere we go in Croatia so please all be responsible :) Please like this comment if it was helpful.

      Must do in Zadar
One of our best experiences in Zadar- the ocean was gorgeous and the trip was both super relaxing but also offered lots to see. Fillip is a great skipper and made sure we had a nice and comfortable journey. Will totally come back again!

Best way to travel to Telašcica
Amazing trip! Filip was super nice, picked me and my friend up from next to the marina, because we didn't quite find the boat and was always up for a chat. I would've loved to spend more time in the national park, to be able to explore a bit more, but that only means I have to take the trip again. On the way back we had enough wind to actually sail for a while. All in all it was an amazing experience and I'd definitely recommend you to stay away from the huge ships you can book tours on and pick this instead!

Prepare for a lot of walking though ... but well worth the visit. Would not have missed it. Absolute requirement: your most comfortable shoes, water, and I learned to use my umbrella to shield myself from the searing sun.

The lakes were beautiful and our guide for the English speakers was really lovely and knowledgeable but the other guide obviously had a problem with the English and those she thought were English as she chose to insult some none English people by calling them English! There were some problems at the park i.e. buses breaking down etc. but I didn't expect to get the blame or get insulted. I am 68 and didn't expect to get rushed along and given dirty looks every time I stopped to take a photograph. She was miserable and rude but at least several of us on the trip got to know each other by sharing our disgust. She completely spoiled what should have been a once in a lifetime trip.

Rushed around with very little time to take photos, take in the scenery or even nip to the toilet. Trip was made even worse when we were shouted at by the french speaking tour guide who then made racist remarks about the English.
It was a gift to my mother who had been looking forward to it for months and was supposed to be a highlight of our trip to Croatia.
On the other hand our English speaking tour guide was lovely and was trying her best to diffuse the situation.
Viator have been very helpful and apologised but Terra Travel are yet to and seem to think that unfairly blaming the ‘bloody English’ for being behind schedule is acceptable and not racist.
Don’t waste your money, hire a car instead!

The park is wonderfull but the operator contracted by tripadvisor, called Jadera tours not only left me on a petrol station half way to the park on a motorway due to a 3 minute delay (queue in the bathrooms) but the driver told me off when sent to pick me up 40min later....no guide to give info,no apologies and the transffer was a bus plus a change to a van to take me to my accomodation. I nearly missed the van too, once I was the last person coming out of the bus. They do not check the list of passengers or care at all. I missed an hour in the park and was very upset.
Well, tripadvisor did not sent me a rquest to avaliate this one, funnily, and this is the only way I can complain....here. So, book with someone else, my advice.
Tripadvisor should give a chance of contact to talk privatedly first about it. But this is what they offer - and jadera tours was terrible. Not recommended.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
