    Another Wonderful Visit to Tuscany
My wife, Kimi, and I, along with another couple, spent a day in Tuscany visiting the Florence American Cemetery, Pisa, and Lucca. On the way back to Florence, we stopped at Fattoria Carmignani where the owner served us a spectacular seven course lunch. Our driver, Sonny, was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We had a great day. Tuscany In Tour also set up a two hour guided tour of Arezzo that was wonderful. We are sorry to have missed Massimo ths time, but hope to see him next time we are in Florence.

    Under the Tuscan Sun
What an amazing experience! Giancarlo was an excellent guide, he gave so much history in a fun manner. Gabrielle’s driving on narrow winding roads was masterful! Sienna and San Gimignano were every bit like you see in a movie. Lunch at #fattoria Poggio allora was fabulous- food and delicious wines. A long and beautiful day!

    GREAT DAY!!!
Such a great experience!! We were staying about 45 minutes out of Florence and instead of just driving into the city we wanted to make a day of it. Massimo was our driver and he was awesome! He brought us to Pisa, San Gimignano, a winery, and Greve. The entire ride he gave us a ton of information on the areas we were driving through and when we got to the locations he told us exactly where to go to have the best experience. A lot of tours skip over Pisa but we thought it was worth it! San Gimignano was amazing and our only wish was that we could have spent more time there, I think on our next trip back we’ll have to stay a night or do a full day trip just for that city. We then went to a winery for lunch which Massimo set up for us, they were soooo Italian which is exactly what we wanted lol! We got a short little tour of the winery and then had a great lunch paired with classic Italian food. We ended up ordering a ton of wine! After lunch, Massimo gave us the choice of heading to Siena or Greve and we chose Greve as I had been to Siena before. The ride had great views and Massimo let us get out and he took some pictures which was very kind. We were getting dropped off in Florence when a parade stopped us, along with all other traffic. Massimo suggested we get out and join the parade-watchers and it was so much fun, such a cool part of the Florentine culture :) Overall, a GREAT day that you can totally customize - thank you Massimo!!!!

Wineries and old towns in Chianti Classico Region
Massimo took myself, my brother and father on a private full-day tour and it was a highlight of our time in Italy. We started with some time in San Gimignano and then visited our first winery for a brief tour and then a great lunch with wine pairings (plus olive oil and balsamic vinegar). We wanted to buy some wine but unfortunately they don't ship to Canada, which is not specific to this winery and is a Canada thing... We then visited another winery for a tasting and we enjoyed that too but perhaps not as much as the first likely because the wine wasn't paired with food. We completed the tour with a short visit to Greve including an old butcher shop. I described the tour to my wife and now I'm on the hook for another trip with her and for sure I'd use Tuscany in Tour and request Massimo as he was a great host and provided information along the way the contributed a lot to the experience.

    Chianti Drivers Florence is awesome!!
I absolutely recommend Chianti drivers! The cars were clean and the entire company was so easy to deal with and professional. Massimo was our private driver who spent the day with my family touring Siena and San Gimignano. He was amazing!! He was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable - giving us insight into each location and sharing stories about the history. He even detoured a few times along the way and brought us to picturesque locations to take photos of our family. We loved him! Chianti will be my go to every time I’m in Florence! Thank you for everything Massimo!!

    A great tour of Italy
We booked a family tour of Italy with Max in August 2022 and it was absolutely amazing. We had never been to Italy and the idea of a coach tour with set itinerary was not appealing to us; an online research led us to Max. We emailed back and forth for several weeks, narrowing down what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. Once everything was set, Max and his team took great care of us, even adding on a fifth person who joined us at the last minute (which involved setting up hotel accommodations for that person during the peak tourist season). We toured Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Florence, Cinque Terre, and the Dolomites, spending several days in each place (except Cinque Terre which was a long, one day trip from Florence). We were shuttled about in a private sprinter van which was wonderful and the drivers were excellent - telling us about the various places we were seeing while on the road and ensuring our safety. It was so nice not to have to drive as some locations (I am looking at you here Amalfi Coast and the narrow streets of Rome) were very dicey. The hotels were generally excellent. Great continental breakfasts and perfectly located. A couple were kind of meh in terms of the rooms themselves, but the locations were all excellent: in the heart of where you wanted to be in each city. That made evening walks so much easier as you could just wander about, see so much history and beauty, and easily find your way back to the hotel. Max also arranged the tours from each location and they too were generally excellent. He was even able to get us tickets to see the Statue of David on short notice (we forgot to book that in advance and only realized once we were in Florence). Anyway, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Max and his team. We are planning a return trip to Italy in either 2023 or 2024 and will be using his agency again.

    Excellent Pisa and Florence Tour!
We were a party of 8 (4 couples) and were met timely at the port by our tour guide Aldo. Aldo was excellent in providing information throughout our day about our stops in Pisa and Florence. He was also fun and an excellent driver through the Italian traffic. He interjected stories as well as historical information, which made it even more enjoyable. We had plenty of time on our own to explore the highlights of each site and Aldo also brought us to a couple of areas in Florence that were lovely (a park and exclusive area with mansions). Overall, our experience with Tuscany in Tour was excellent and we had an awesome day visiting Pisa and Florence. Both Massimo and Aldo were great with the arrangements and the tour itself. We highly recommend Tuscany in Tour over the overcrowded tours through the cruise ship.

    An unforgettable experience in Tuscany!!
Such a fabulous day visiting 2 wineries and touring the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. Our personal driver, Aldo, could not have been more entertaining and knowledgeable. He accommodated our every need to make unscheduled stops for breathtaking photo opportunities. The first winery, Sant Appiano, was quaint and family owned. Amazing wine and delicious lunch. Then after a lovely drive, on to winery # 2, Tenuta Torciano. More wonderful wine tasting and more homemade cuisine. On the way back to the port, a quick stop by Pisa to see the leaning tower. That was a last minute request by us. We laughed, we ate, we drank, we took hundreds of photos and planned our next trip to Tuscany with our new best friend, Aldo. You don’t want to miss this phenomenal opportunity!!!

Tour of Tuscany - Incredible Day!
One of the best days of our European vacation! Aldo our guide was informative, entertaining and added so much from a local’s perspective. Tuscany is very hard to see by bus or train. This made it incredibly easy to see so much, comfortably, in one day. Don’t hesitate booking- you will be so glad you did!

    TERRIBLE
This Company has a private tour under the caption La Dolce Vita and with a plan for visiting Italy for around a fortnight, I was quite interested in this tour. After three mails I finally managed to elicit a reply from a gentleman who signed off as Max. Since my wife and I will be visiting Italy for the first time and since we are in our early 60s, it is obvious that we shall have questions INCLUDING questions on costs. It was terribly disappointing that the gentleman's reply bordered more towards being rude rather than helpful and I somehow feel that seniors/elders are not desirable by the company or at-least the gentleman who replied to me. Having extensively travelled many countries and having interacted with any tour arrangers, this happened to be my FIRST EXPERIENCE where I really felt unwanted. I HAVE NOT AVAILED THIS TRIP BUT SINCE THERE ARE REQUIRED QUESTIONS LIKE WHEN DID I GO ETC, WITHOUT WHICH MY VIEWS CANNOT BE INCLUDED, I HAVE MENTIONED SEPTEMBER 2022, AS THE MONTH WHEN I BEGAN COMMUNICATING.

    Great company
We had a fabulous experience with Tuscany In Tour on a one-day transfer from Florence to Montefollonico, Tuscany. Max was responsive and easy to work with in arranging the trip, and Aldo, our driver, was great! He arrived early, was waiting after our lunch stop in Arezzo, and when we jokingly said we needed a gelato, Aldo promptly found a gelateria! I would use this company again.

Best transport company ever used in 20 years of travel
The service ethic is world class. Received daily updates was and drivers were always on time. Massimo was great and our stops was always insightful and interesting. His recommendations on shopping and where to eat was spot on. If we return to Italy there is only one company we will use.

    Terrible experience
wineries visited did not respect what the description mentioned- no known quality wineries. the first was a small boutique winery- however quaint and acceptable- they showed us how theu processed their wine and tasting was reasonably good. The 2nd was horrible: we entered a cafeteria style place, sat on a small terrace, were served a first vino nobile of terrible quality along with a few slices of ordinary salami and cheese, and then they served a 2nd vino nobile in the same glass and were politely greeted ‘thank you fir coming’. We had 1 stop at pienza and given 30 min to find our own place and eat and another 20 minutes to walk on a tourist street at Montepulciano. 4 hours driving on a 8 hour day. Not worth the 440 euros for 4 of us. Do not recommend. Plus they don’t even ask for our opinion. I suggest you identify the wineries you wish to visit, call to reserve, and hire a private driver.

We had a fabulous private tour (7 adults) starting with a pick up in a very comfortable Mercedes van and a very friendly driver Sonny from our hotel in Florence with a stop in the beautiful city of Siena. Then off to a private lunch and wine tour at Castello Monerinaldi Winery. Everything Max arranged for us was perfect. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend the Tuscany in Tour comapny.

From our first inquiry, Max was quick to respond and accommodated our schedule, which included a cruise, as well as land activities.

Arriving in Florence, we were met and taken to our excellently located hotel (booked by Max). The next day, our private guide took us on an individualized tour including Pisa, several stops, and the highlight, a tour of a family owned winery and tasting, which resulted in the purchase of a case of wine shipped to our home.

The next day, another highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide took us on a walking tour including a visit to see David. We learned so much and saw everything on our list, all without lines or wasted time.

After being driven to the train station, we were personally seated in our first class seats to Naples, where another guide was waiting to take us to the cruise port.

Following our cruise, we were again met in Venice and transferred by private water taxi to our hotel booked by Max in San Marco Square. The next day, our Italian guide took us on a tour by water taxi through various waterways and canals, all the while explaining what we were seeing in a colorful, entertaining way, followed by a walking tour and private Murano glass-blowing demonstration (again resulting in a shipment to our home).

Our unforgettable trip concluded with a return water taxi to the airport. Max handled all the details in a prompt, professional manner, at a reasonable cost. The guides were the best we have met anywhere. Tuscany in Tour has our highest reccomendation!

Many thanks to Max for coordinating our tour with Fabio. On relatively short notice we were able to book a private wine tasting tour for five. Fabio met us at the train station in Florence. Having a sommelier lead our tour around Chianti was a true treat. Fabio schooled us in the region’s wine, and took us to some out of the way vineyards where we were at times the only guests, able to have the full, personal attention of the estate representatives. We learned a lot, got to see some of the most beautiful countryside, and were able to enjoy our day trip from Rome in the most comfortable of vehicles with the most accommodating tour guide. Max and Fabio also personalized their usual Chianti tour just for us, adjusting the schedule so we could also do a short tour of Florence before taking our late afternoon train back to Rome. Communication ahead of the trip and on the morning of our arrival was impeccable. It was easy to find our guide upon arrival. A truly gorgeous day in Tuscany for a very, very fair price. We won’t think twice about doing it again!

We recently did a private all day tour of the Chianti region and it was one of our favorite days in Italy. First, our guide Massimo was wonderful. He was very personable and entertaining. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and did about a dozen tours and the guides with great personalities really stood out. Massimo was definitely at the top of our list in terms of tour guides. He was very memorable (I'm having trouble remembering at least half our guides names just a couple weeks later), but he definitely stood out.

First he took us to Montefioralle, a charming old village lined with cute little shops. He let us roam around for an hour or so by ourselves after showing us to one of the best gelato places we visited in Italy. We liked that he gave us some time on our own to explore and do some shopping.

Then he took us to a small, family-owned winery called Casa Emma where we had lunch (with wine of course). The meal was probably one of the best we had in Italy and the staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the wine and ended up shipping a case home.

We then went to another winery (the name now escapes me), but it too was good. We sat outside looking over the rolling hills of Tuscany, sipping wine and munching on the charcuterie plate they brought us. It was so quiet and peaceful. We also really liked the wine and bought some to take with us which we ended up drinking throughout our trip.

We then went to Greve and roamed around a bit on our own, stopping in a cool butcher shop and loading up on cured meats.

On the way back to Florence, Massimo took us up to Piazzale Michelangelo where we got a really good view of the city before being dropped off at our hotel.
