We reserved tickets for the Uffizi one day and the Accedamia the next. Both tickets were printed off at the reserved ticket window at the accademia, and we waited just a few minutes at each gallery to get thru security. So happy we booked in advance as there was a long line to buy tickets.

So skip the line ticket yes. Do not worry about guided tour. There are those great guys with red tie who will sign you up for tour. Usually you have to wait 1 hour. It was so worth it. Guide was great. He was combination of Rick Riordan and Dan Brown. The Gallery is breath taking. There is so much to see but guide will touch most important pieces with great stories behind it. I learn a lot. May be you can request the same guide Hayk Gregorgyana. Pure awesome

Booked timed tickets for Uffizi gallery for July 26 on Trip Advisor on June 15 and received an email from some 3rd party vendor saying my tickets would be issued 2 days prior to event.
I was informed today that tickets are not available and they were cancelling my reservations.
Ridiculous! Why didn’t they secure the tickets at the time of booking. Seems pretty clear to me that Trip Advisor does not vet these vendors.
I am very disappointed and will not book through Trip Advisor again. Booking through your hotel concierge is a better way to go.
I was informed today that tickets are not available and they were cancelling my reservations.

we are sorry for the inconvenience but, as you can see from other visitor comments, when we confirm the DATE (guaranteed on the site) but the earliest available time (as per the conditions of sale) people are often not satisfied. For this we have refunded leaving the possibility to buy tickets on the spot. In any case, your visit was not confirmed, your request was confirmed

I purchased skip the line tickets for Uffizi Gallery as our time was limited. We arrived to the gallery with bar code to claim tickets. We were then told we had to queue to collect them. We queued for over an hour to collect the tickets and then had a further wait of half an hour in the queue to get into the gallery. We would have been better off getting in one queue to just buy a ticket on the day. We paid more for beat the line tickets and waited just as long, if not longer, as people who had not purchased before hand. The gallery is fabulous, but the experience to get entry was a disappointing one.

I tried to book tickets a month in advance through their site with Headout. I mistakenly put in June instead of July, and noticed it the second I hit submit. I contacted them right away, letting them know of my error, and asked to move to July instead of June. They refuse to change my tickets, and I reserved for NINE family members. I'm now out 207 euro.

We didn’t feel that we needed a guide for this tour but skip-the-line was useful as is with most due to extremely long lines. Don’t forget to check-in across the street first and allow an extra 15-20 minutes for that. After that we were able to access the museum fairly quickly. The Uffizi was beautiful and definitely a must see. In addition to the incredible art, there are also great views of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio.

Uffizi was fantastic, but we paid for these tickets which we did not really need to. Pre-Booking directly with the gallery would have been much cheaper and equally could have saved us the entry queue, which wasn’t very long. We also had no access to special exhibits. All in all, it wasn’t worth paying double the price of entrance. I would give this tour a miss.

We met our guide outside in and she took us inside and we didn't have to wait long in the security lines before we were in. It was a nice big, cooler temperature wise building and with our fun tour guide and head sets she was able to tell us so much about what we were looking at, the construction and what each piece and room was that we went into. Very nice and informational. My friend and I had a great time!
