Being a massive fan of horror and someone who had done horror escape rooms in the past I convinced my friends to play ‘The Watcher’ escape room, expecting it to be scary but not anything we weren’t able to handle… Oh how wrong I was. My friends and I were not prepared for what this room had in store for us and honestly we were absolutely terrified from start to finish. The room felt super realistic, the puzzles were interesting and very well thought out and the jump scares were creative and well-timed. It was a totally different experience to the escape rooms I had done in the past and despite us being scaredy cats the whole time, we will definitely be back for the other rooms! I definitely recommend ‘The Watcher’ to anyone who loves horror, anyone who loves a challenge and anyone looking for an escape room with a difference! Thank you so much to Alex for making our experience amazing, for being such an animated and welcoming host - even going as far as to comfort and encourage us when a few of us were ready to back out right at the start. (Which we’re now so glad we didn’t do)

So last night’s adventure me and my friend Zach went to visit xscream escapes for two of their escape rooms. Our first room was Block 29 and when we arrived we were then told by our host Jaime that we had been upgraded to the actor lead the doctors in experience witch was a nice surprise. This was a tricky room especially as a two and my brain was not fully switched on 😂 at all lol. Also with the doctor roaming between us and the corridor really added to the experience though, it was intense and terrifying but done so well, you could still do what you needed to do to escape. Also the Dr If was feeling nice would help you to so that was great. I will not be opening flaps on doors for a while 😂 but we did escape yay so I’m super happy with that. From start to finish absolutely loved that room, from the intensity, the scares the fabulous Dr to, it is a really great escape loved that. Then we ended our night with our final room, Watcher now I’ve done the room before but Zach had not 😂 witch was brilliant to see. I absolutely love this room for how different it is, I felt super happy when I sent him to a certain task but that came back and to haunt me later on 😂 and for once I was the most observant one to. We got though it all but dam marbles mazes lol 😂 and we both ended up having a shocking time ⚡️😂 I am super proud of myself because those shocks are horrific but Zack was my cheerleader 😂 while I was swearing and jumping around a lot haha. I’m not repeating that again to clarify 😂 that a huge fear of mine. We escaped and got all 10 likes yay so I’m super happy their with that as a two we did so so well. Thank you to xscreamescapes for a fantastic night and to Alex for being a fabulous host to us for the night. Had the best time and was lovey to get a photo with the Dr to. Two of the best escape room out their, tricky but not to hard and given hints at the right moments to.

Had a great afternoon/evening at xscream escapes our host Alex was an absolute pleasure and knew just how to engage with our group. The puzzles were fantastic and we're a great challenge, perfection is what comes to mind

Myself, my husband, and my daughter (18) went to Xscream Escapes to play Bedlam 29. We were met by our games host Alex, he was very welcoming and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions. The game itself was good fun,I don't want to give any details as I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone but it was cleverly thought out. Bedlam 29 is ideal for first timers but it still has its challenges. We want to go back and complete the other rooms. I would definitely recommend!

Thanks to team at Xscream Escapes especially James our most excellent host and I suspect on the quiet watcher. We didn't get out (again - normal for us in escape rooms) but was definitely a great time would highly recommend to horror fans - James was an excellent host from start to finish! The best and most exciting escape room I've done and it had its funny moments but I won't spoil the experience.

We visited to celebrate a friends birthday. Had so much fun! I hadn't been before. We loved it!! Can't wait to go again ☺️

Played The Watcher, great SAW vibes we really enjoyed it!! Will probably go back to try the other rooms at some point

Bradley was really nice, whole experience was alot of fun. Really enjoyed the games and the atmosphere.

If you're great at logic puzzles then prepare to be tested. Take away some of your senses and add fear to the mix, all the logic fades away! Really enjoyable. Lots of interactive tasks thrown in by The Watcher throughout as well.

I've done both the watcher and the corpsewood killer, and if you are looking for a genuinely scary, realisitc and challenging escape room I would definitely reccomend!! probably not ideal for people like me with anxiety because my heart was pounding BUT ideal for people with a passion for horror who can handle it haha!!! staff are lovely too, my friends loved it

Having enjoyed two of the escape rooms at XScream, we booked The Watcher & loved it. James was brilliant and really added to our experience. There were 4 of us and we escaped in 50 minutes but had quite a few clues. James was very helpful but also added to the suspense. We laughed so much & screamed a few times! The puzzles were great and we all decided it was the best room we've done, including many in London. Thanks for a great time

We’ve been to one of their escape rooms before but we recently did The Watcher and it was great! Well thought out, very exciting and well timed jump scares. James our host was very good and explained everything well. He knew when we were struggling and gave us a nudge without giving much away. Best escape room we’ve had so far!

Had a superb time today doing The Watcher. Genuinely scary and challenging but as part of a good team we got on the leaderboard!! Alex was a great host and looked after us well. I’d highly recommend it!

Took four 12&13 year olds to do The Corpsewood Killer escape room. They really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was great, a bit creepy but not terrifying.

Having not been to an escape room before we were not sure what to expect. It was fantastic!!! Highly recommend this venue. Our host Alex was great and really helpful. It was exciting, challenging and left us feeling full of adrenaline. We went as a mixed group of adults and 14 year old teens. We will Definitely go again!!!
