We had the most amazing day out on this tour. The river tour was a particular highlight but our driver made the day fun and easy, and we enjoyed all of the stops. Would highly recommend.

We recently visited Tamil Nadu for two weeks traveling over 3000 kilometers with our driver, Dilip. Dilip was a very safe, courteous driver and also very informative regarding the places we visited. When we visited his home town, his wife and daughter joined us for the day to go around the city to see the sites and temples. In the evening, they arranged for us to visit their family's temple where they had organized an evening of live classical Indian music and classical Indian dance/Bharatanatyam. I did a Tea Factory visit and Horton Plains National Park Tour with Almedha. He is a very good guide with good knowledge providing great information and insight's. Can highly recommend a tour with Almedha to everyone and really enjoyed the day, fantastic experience!

I had an amazing night tour in Colombo with Roshan. His friendliness and knowledge made the tour enjoyable. We visited top spots like Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Independence Square, and Lotus Tower. The street food tasting was a highlight—so delicious and vibrant. Highly recommend this tour

Sharminder was amazing. We had a great day, and I felt very comfortable traveling by myself. He took me to great locations and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Additionally, I spent a couple of days prior to this trip traveling with Sharminder with friends. We had an excellent time then as well. I would highly recommend! 5 stars!

I had an incredible experience on the Southern Sri Lanka Sightseeing Day Trip with Sigiritrip Tours. Our guide (Shaminda), who was also the driver, was excellent—professional, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about each stop along the way. We began our journey in the charming city of Galle, where he shared fascinating details about the history and culture of the Dutch Fort, making the colonial heritage come alive. The boat ride at Maduganga Ganga was another highlight—peaceful, scenic, and well-organized. Our guide made sure we had the best views and took care of all the arrangements. At the Turtle Hatchery, he explained the conservation efforts and was patient with our questions, making it a memorable and educational visit. The Japanese Peace Pagoda provided stunning views and a serene experience to wrap up the day. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable trip, thanks to the guide's expertise and the skillful driving through busy streets and winding roads. Our driver Shaminda picked us up promptly and we had a super day trip with him. He’s a great driver and took us to so many interesting places. Our drive back from Galle to Colombo was in heavy rain, thunder, lighting and flooded roads but he got us back safely. Thank you

I had booked the Southern Sri Lanka Sightseeing Day Trip and was picked up at my hotel in Negombo at the agreed time. I liked the polite and friendly driver/guide right from the start. He spoke excellent English and told me a lot about the country and its people. Our first stop was the sea turtle conservation project in Kosgoda. Here, injured turtles are cared for and the eggs laid are protected from predators. The entrance fee was a bit steep at $25, but knowing that we were supporting a good cause, it was fine. The next stop was the Madu River. The boat safari leads through the mangrove forests on the countless islands on the large river. In addition to numerous animal species, you also see many religious statues and visit a Buddhist temple that is well worth seeing. The tour then continues along the coast to the beach at Unawatuna. The lively and clean beach is ideal for swimming or, if you prefer, snorkelling and diving. In Galle you can visit the old Dutch fort, which is well worth seeing. It is a nice walk along the fort walls and the lighthouse, back to the starting point at the clock tower. The so-called Stilt Fishers, who fish from stilts, were a great photo opportunity. I was lucky that we were here in the late afternoon and the sun was already setting, which created a great atmosphere on this beach. The last place we visited was Ramsalla where we visited the Japanese Peace Pagoda. The return journey to Negombo was via the expressway, which made for quick progress. The tour had many sights but the highlight was the driver/guide Shaminda. He was very entertaining with his humour. He drew my attention to every worthwhile photo stop and patiently answered my many questions. I can unreservedly recommend the tour, especially with Shaminda.

Shaminda provided this tour for me. He was friendly and driving safety was about average for SriLanka. It was an all day taxi/chauffeur service really. I was delivered to a series of venues (most had significant additional entry fees) whilst he sat/slept in the car. It worked out to be an expensive day but overall I enjoyed it. I would have rated this tour higher if Shaminda hadn’t suggested taking me to the Moonstone Mine and Gem Palace. This place specialises in ripping off tourists and should be avoided if he doesn’t want to share that reputation. Shaminda provided an excellent service for our trip from Colombo to Galle. He was punctual, professional, and made our sightseeing experience truly memorable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and his driving was safe and responsible throughout the trip. What impressed us most was his knowledge of the route and local attractions. He made well-timed suggestions for stops along the scenic coastal road and ensured we had a comfortable journey. His English communication was clear, and he maintained a perfect balance between being helpful and giving us space to enjoy our sightseeing. Highly recommend Shaminda for the Colombo-Galle trip. He helped make our Sri Lankan travel experience outstanding!

I had a great time with Shaminda seeing some of Southern Sri Lanka. My favorite spot was Fort Galle.. a great spot. The boat ride was lots of fun as well. Thanks for some great memories.
