          Absolutely amazing!!!
After booking I was immediately informed by the owner (Adon) that there will be a slight change to the route which was accepted. I was picked from my hotel by A (tour guide)and Rin (driver)really cool and welcoming guys. Cycling with A was amazing, it was cycling with a mate, we had so much fun and laughter that it didn’t seem like a tour. A’s friendly demeanour, character and knowledge are simply priceless. Overall, I’m glad I booked Chiang mai mountain biking and kayaking. Highly recommended!

          Fun day out
Great opportunity to try proper downhill MTB. Definitely not for the faint of heart as its a steep and bumpy ride. Fun day out all round. Would be better if there were larger option bikes available; they all seemed to be M size so it was difficult to pedal uphill on the few occasions that was needed.

          Recommended Operator and Tour
I highly rate this adventure tour operator and this tour. Starting with a well prepared orientation for the day at their office we had a 90 minute drive north. As we are older participants they were attentive to our needs and let us ride in the pickup truck cab. The cave visit was memorable. Cave ecology and the caves history as a Burmese monastery were explained. bats, snakes and spiders pointed out (no danger to us). It is a long walk with some narrow or low or slippery passages. Lunch was very plain. I wish we had been told there is a selection at the restaurant besides Pad Thai. The kayaking portion was also memorable. Good orientation. River never too swift but we still managed to capsize once. Khun Jojo was right there to help, but still I got my phone wet (you are warned). On the way back Khun Jojo kindly took us to a phone repair shop where the phone surgeon declared my phone DOA.

Great fun for all the family
This was our second guided tour during our time in Chiang Mai and another cracker. We were collected by Jen (our very friendly guide) from our hotel in the Old Town and after a good briefing of how to control a single person kayak plus being fitted for our buoyancy jackets we were on our way. The minivan was comfortable with air conditioning and our first stop was the caving at Chiang Dao. We saw loads of bats inside the caves, huntsman spiders and crickets together with some spectacular stalagmites and stalactites. There were some narrow passages to fit through (nothing too claustrophobic) which was part of the fun and Jen provided us with some historical facts on our way. After the caving we were treated to a nice Pad Thai lunch then on to kayaking. This was great fun and well supervised. It was very much at an easy pace and no sign of white water which made the whole experience very relaxed. We kayaked through some beautiful areas, stopped halfway on a sandbank for a cooling swim and break and completed the river section in just over 2 hours. Overall a great tour - big thanks to Jen and his fellow guide for a fun and friendly time 🙏

          A bit boring
Pick up was as planned. The kayak trip itself is fairly boring, very little to see along the way. For an inexperienced kayaker this would be quite hard, it is over 1 hour long.

          Don’t miss this tour!
Great tour of DOI Mountain temples with a fantastic mountain bike descent on the road from the top… at least 20 minutes (15 km). Lunch of Pad Thai was good, too!

          Excellent tour worth every penny
Jo-Jo our guide was exceptional - he was fun informative and engaging, in the caves he showed us the different forms of geological formations and made it really interesting. He also held a very large spider and by being so calm allowed us to hold it too which seemed incredible. To me a complete arachnophobe. The kayaking was just right and our guides were bery helpful and involved, I guess some of the comments directed about the young woman on the trip seemed a bit “off” but I genuinely think It was an attempt to be funny not meaning to be offensive. And certainly not something that would lose a star. One point the whole day is quite tiring so note that it says a reasonable level of fitness is required - I went with the England over 50’s international football team. And they snoozed all the way home!😯

          Beautiful Scenery full of Surprises
This super exceeded our expectations. The wait in the morning for the kayaking lesson had to have been the only negative but is required. It's over an hour's drive to The Caves. It's beautiful, it is a temple, so ladies do have to cover up. There were a lot of self-exploration opportunities and it's a pretty slippery and dark space with some crawl spaces and neat temple items. Lunch is served after the cave - Pad Thai a short walk outside of the caves. The kayaking launch was only 15 or mins from the lunch spot. The guides did an awesome job with this! We loved the scenery and this was a highlight from our entire trip to Thailand.

          Great ride in Chiang Mai.
I had a fantastic day of riding with Bas-definitely was a challenge, but Bas was a capable and knowledgeable guide, and we had a blast! Although you are descending from a mountaintop, there are certainly some tough climbs as well. We had several short stops to admire the scenery and look at the foliage, but there was several hours of riding. We enjoyed a lakeside lunch, and then rode the 15kms into town and back to the shop.

Great tour! Nice to get out of the city. Fun kayak ride. :)
The caves were much bigger than expected! Very interesting. The 2 hour kayak ride was very enjoyable. Bring sunscreen! The trip out and back in the van was very comfortable (about 90 mins each way). Great time getting out of the city.

          Downhill adventure
This was a fun day if you can ride a mountain bike on gravel trails. It's mostly downhill except for one 400m significant uphill. Bike is good and safety gear was adequate. Lunch good, bring your own electrolyte drink and snacks for energy.

          Recommendable tour
I can really recomnend this tour. Our guide was very funny. The cave very interesting and big (we spent there approx. 1 hour). We also enjoyed the river kayaking suitable for beginners as you get a short introduction in advance. The only negative point here was that the group could have been smaller, as we had to make many stops to wait for the others.

Fantastic day, the guys who looked after us were amazing.! Needed a small Amount of first aid after a slight scrap in a cave. This was carried out in a very gentle professional manner. Think our kayak skills left a lot to be desired but they never lost patience. Smiling through out! Make sure you take swimming clothes and wet bag. Especially for your phones.

This is a tough but very rewarding hike. The guides are top notch and their humour keeps you going. Do this hike early in the holiday and earn everything else after it! Anyone with a reasonable fitness level and perseverance can manage this, although there are points where you can throw the towel in. We cracked on and had a wonderful time, although I am writing this sitting by my pool having a well earned beer.

The views from the top of the summit were amazing. The hike itself was good, but hard and very steep in some places but push through it is worth it!
Tui our guide was really good!

This was the most difficult hike I have ever been on. I have only been on a few hikes before but this was extremely challenging.

We were picked up early and hiked to the Doi Suthep Temple. This took about 2.5 hours. This was very steep uphill hike. Wear comfortable shoes, bug spray and bring lots of water. we thought this was very difficult. We chose not to hike to the summit since our guide let us know the second half of the hike (4 hours remaining) would be much more uphill and more extraneous. We are 2 college students and are in decent physical condition (By the way). Nevertheless, he suggested we hike towards some waterfalls and finish with a hike down hill, which would still take another 2.5 hours.

So glad we did this! The hike down by the waterfalls was beautiful. The downhill was challenging as well since it was very steep and slippery at times. The tail was narrow at some points (about 1 ft wide). But overall amazing.

Overall, it was a very challenging hike but it was well worth it and amazing. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to get lunch after.

My boyfriend and I (25&26 yo) went on this trip expecting it to be very difficult as it is 18 km or ~10 miles of hiking. What we did not expect was how knowledgeable and fun our guides Tui and Ay would be! They knew everything about the natural area, the flora and fauna and the people living in the mountains. The hike is beautiful. Lined with lush greenery and sweeping views of Chiang Mai below. The first temple you arrive at is Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. It’s about 1.5 km from the starting point so really you’re just starting. After a very challenging steep hill ascension, you make it to a road and up to the natural park. The natural park has views of a temple in the distance, but you don’t visit it. The next stop is a waterfall. The trail to the waterfall is slightly downhill and heavily forested (WEAR BUGSPRAY!!). After the waterfall you have to do some brief (1-2 minutes) climbing, grabbing onto vines and rocks to make it to the next part of the trail. The next part of the trail is STEEP. If you are not in descent shape or at least have high stamina, I would reconsider this particular activity. Eventually (1.5 hours-ish) you reach the village. The village is everything you would want to experience in a Thai mountain town and more. We were greeted with a complementary bowl of pork noodle soup (nothing ever tasted so good) and drinks and sat in a hut overlooking the mountains to eat lunch. We even had time to explore and play in the village a little bit before beginning the trek to the peak. After the village, the peak is 2 km away but it is mostly uphill. This last leg of the trail really killed me. I pushed through barely, basically on all fours crawling up the mountain. But the guides and group were fun and motivating, a really team mentality. We made it to the peak! Gorgeous views were our reward! Then a quick 1 km stroll downhill to meet our ride and take us back to the hotel.
We were picked up from our hotel at 7:45 AM and made it back to the hotel at 4 PM.
Not going to sugarcoat it, this hike is a challenge. But if you enjoy hiking and are in relatively good shape, it’s well worth it. My favorite activity in Thailand so far. Thank you Tui and Ay!
