What to Expect

The Path of the Gods is the most beautiful and known street of the Amalfi Coast and connects the town of Bomerano (Agerola) with the delightful little village of Nocelle in Positano. The level of hiking is medium, characterized by a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea that overlooks the Gulf of Salerno, the Sorrento Peninsula and the Island of Capri. Starting from Bomerano the trail is mostly downhill, but once you arrive in Nocelle you will have added almost 450 feet of elevation gain.

Suggestions for the excursion: wear layers according to weather conditions and temperature differences. (During the excursion from beginning to end, sometimes we can have a difference of 10 degrees.)

Trekking shoes or walking shoes, a rain jacket, a small backpack and water (1.5 L).

Technical data (Bomerano - Nocelle): length (miles) 3.7 - Duration (h.): 3 h - Difference in height (m) 180 - Difference downhill (m) 300.
