You'll meet the guide in front of the Sanremo Casino. We'll drive along the amazing coastline and you'll enjoy the breathtaking landscape overlooking the crystalline blue sea, surrounded by sweet, green slopes dottet with Mediterranean maquis, flowers, and lemon trees. Then we continue our excursion driving along the ancient Roman street, and we reach the Nervia Valley. We stop in Dolceacqua and our licensed tourist guide will led you to discover this delightful medieval village, home of the most prized and famous red wines in Italy, Rossese di Dolceacqua. We will visit the Castello dei Doria and we will walk on the famous bridge painted by Claude Monet. He described it a "jewel of lightness". At the end of the tour we'll taste 2 local wines (Rossese di Dolceacqua - a local ruby red wine- and a local white wine), pairing them with focaccia and a small local cake called "michette". This is the best way to enjoy the Italian Riviera: art, history, Nature, and good wines!

This was a highlight of our trip to the Italian Riviera. The village is simply lovely and the view from the Castello dei Doria was fantastic (would have been even more so if the river had not been dry from lack of rain this year). Roberta was a great guide. She is obviously very passionate about the history and culture of the area. Can't recommend her tour highly enough - even the kids enjoyed it (including my teenager)!

    A fantastic tour of history!
We had an excellent tour in Dolceacqua, with wine tasting. The narrow old streets and the castle above was historic experience. We ended the evening with an Italian family made dinner nearby, just fantastic. We were all very satisfied, and can highly recommend Roberta and her team :-)

We decided on a very short notice to go on a wine / sightseeing trip, and Roberta responded super fast. The trip was great - with just the right amount of everything given the hours we had available. Roberta is extremely knowledgeable about the area, the history, the wine and the food, and very pleasant and fun company!

Amazing village, very original with its narrow alleys and small shops. Very surprising walk to the castle that dominates.
