An interesting tour of the winery followed by a really informative and delicious tasting accompanied by local produce. Sara was really engaging and we came away with an understanding of local wines and some bottles of them!

Sara organized a wonderful wine tasting for 23 of our family and friends. Communications with her were excellent. The tour and tasting was one of the highlights to trip to Abruzzo. The wine tasting is held on a beautiful property with scenic views. The wines were fabulous! We all fell in love with Mazzarossa Pecorino and Reserve Montepulciano.

I highly recommend the Mazzarosa private wine tour and tasting which our group of four American educators did on April 19. Our tour with Sara was a wonderful experience! Her English is excellent, her knowledge of the history, wine making process and wines of Mazzarosa is comprehensive and her personality is delightful. The wine pours were generous and the pairings were lovely. Each wine was distintive and we all liked the whites, rosso and reds. Our tour extended well beyond our one and a half hours and we truly appreciate the time Sara spent with us. We fell like we began as tour guide and clients and ended as friends.

We loved our tour of MazzaRosa. Sara was an amazing guide. She was informative and answered questions but also took into account that we had our children with us and was very accommodating to them! After the tour the wine and food paring was wonderful! We loved learning more detail about the wine varieties and paring them with the foods. During this as well Sara made sure to have a juice and pizza platter for our toddlers so they felt welcome in the fun! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

My husband I visited today and had the best time! Sabine took us to tour the old and new premises and gave us fascinating facts, not only about the winery, but about wine making in general. The tastings and explanations of each wine we had were so interesting and the charcuterie provided was delicious. More importantly, Sabine was a wonderful host who managed to conduct the tour and tastings in both Italian and English seamlessly, while answering questions and making sure everyone felt included. Also of note is how much we enjoyed conversation with our fellow wine tour patrons. We so enjoyed learning more about life in Italy from them and we managed to piece together an incredible conversation despite speaking different languages. It’s a credit to Sabine that she created an atmosphere that allowed us to do that. Finally, the wine was spectacular and the Rosa uniquely delicious! We bought a number of bottles to share with friends. Thank you, Mazzarosa & Sabine! Experiences like this one are the reason we travel!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Eduardo was an amazing host and has a great understanding of the wine! I highly recommend the wine tour if you're visiting.

We had a fantastic time at Mazzarosa Cantina, Eduardo could not have been more helpful. It was a very relaxed presentation, no sense of being rushed through. The winery itself was fascinating and Eduardo gave a thorough explanation of the history and wine making process. We toured the cellar and the grounds and then enjoyed generous pourings of their bottled wines including a dessert wine like nothing we've ever tasted. Excellent pairings with local cheeses and cured meats. The wines were great but Eduardo's company was even better - his English is excellent and his delivery style so welcoming. Our 1-2 hour tour was nearly 3 hours ... We were have so much of a good time. Well worth a visit.

Amazing wine and amazing presentation. The tour was done by an actual wine maker rather than just a tour guide type. Amazing pairings as well. Great flavors and of course great memories. Accessible by train w a little walking or a cheap taxi from the main station.

Our wine tour experience was great! The food and wine were amazing but what stood out to us the most was the fabulous service from Edwardo. He was very friendly and welcoming and his english was great. He even drove us back to the train station after our tour. Overall a really good experience and Edwardo made it very special for us!

Beautiful place, amazing wine and super friendly staff. The tour is so fun and interesting, I learned alot about wine thanks to Marco. After we were done with the tour, they sat up a picnic table for us outside in open green fields, gave us fruits, cheese.. etc along with the rest of our wine from the tour. It was a day to remember. I recommend you go on a good sunny day to enjoy the picnic after your tour!

By far the best wine tour I ever experienced in my life and it's thanks to Marco, who explained the history of the winery and shared with us his passion and knowledge about wine. Absolutely the best wine tour experience! Marco knew all about the wines and the history, Sara and Diana prepared a lovely table for us for pairings and once we were done with tasting prepared a picnic table for us to enjoy the grounds in the lovely weather. We are so happy we found this wine tour and Marco (our wine guide) was extremely proficient in speaking in English and Italian during our time with him (I am Irish but my partner and mother-in-law are abruzzesi). We all felt extremely included and enjoyed the experience equally. The wines, food and tour are of the highest quality and we even got to take the unfinished bottles of wine home with us. Even though we aren’t knowledgable about wine, you can trust that the tour will be personable and curated to your knowledge and dietary requirements. Marco, thank you so much!
