Like others who have left a review like mine, I was bitterly disappointed. Made the reservation online and mistakenly set the date for the wrong month. Within minutes I messaged and advised my error in the date and simply asked for a date a month later. They refused. Said they could not give me a refund. It was almost an automated reply because at no stage did I ask for a refund. All I wanted was a change of date! Wish I had read the reviews first. No room for error with these guys.

Nadine was excellent. She provided an authentic experience, where we not only learned, but felt part of the Venetian culture.

I went with my almost 14 year old granddaughter. We arrived about 15 minutes late because Trip Advisor notices had Chiesa di San Giacomo di Rialto as the meeting place. We called the instructor and were able to get the correct address. The instructor was very good - thorough and clear in his instructions. The pace of the class and the ensuing lunch was a bit slow so the entire event lasted 4 hours (15 minutes of which were due to my lateness).

Nadine was amazing! She was so welcoming and truly made us feel comfortable in her beautiful home. We had such a great time with her learning, cooking, and enjoying good company. 100% recommend to anyone looking to learn about cooking and culture. The food was excellent as well!!

I booked this for my wife and we both really enjoyed the experience. Barbra was our host and it was very neat being invited into her home and getting hands on. She was amazing and I recommend this as a must while in Venice!

What a special experience! Nadine was so incredibly kind to welcome us into her home. She even went to the market to get ingredients that inspired her based on what was fresh that day. Our pasta was fantastic and getting the perspective of Venice from a local was great. Thank you Nadine!

Absolutely amazing experience. If you want an intimate true Italian cooking experience, this is it. Catia was an amazing host and not only taught me about cooking, but Italian history and culture. This was my favorite activity during my time in Italy because Catina made me feel like a friend and a guest in her home rather than a tourist.

Julia is the loveliest host you could have; generous with her time and knowledge, patient, encouraging, fun and full of interesting information. We loved everything, even the wonky pasta shapes that we produced, and it was really enjoyable to eat the food we had produced (and we did everything ourselves, with a little help) at the end of the morning together; this session really made our visit to Venice memorable and we will long remember our time with Giulia. (Not sure we would have found her home so easily in the dark, but in the morning the walk through the district was fascinating.)

This was a great experience. The host was extremely friendly, spoke great English and guided us the whole way. It was a lot of fun and we really recommend it.

We did the cooking experience with Giulia. The entire experience was lovely. She was warm and friendly. We tried the Cynar aperitivo with the delicious starter plates. We helped make the ravioli and for dessert we had delicious tiramisu. We also had corn biscuit cookies were different and yummy. We enjoyed Giulia’s stories, admired her beautifully decorated apartment and left feeling like we had made a new friend for life. We would definitely want to share another experience with her when we return to Venice.

Hey there! So, let me tell you about this awesome chocolate tasting I had at Venchi in Venice. It was seriously amazing! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by super friendly staff who were totally into sharing all the cool stuff about chocolate and Venchi. The tasting itself was like a journey through a chocolate wonderland. They had all these different chocolates to try, and each one was more delicious than the last. From creamy milk chocolates to intense dark ones, it was a flavor explosion in my mouth! But what really made it special was the staff. They were so chill and fun, and they made the whole experience even better by telling us all about the history of Venchi and how they make their chocolates. It was like hanging out with friends while eating the best chocolate ever! And can we talk about the vibe? The store was right in the heart of Venice, and the whole place had this cool, laid-back vibe that just added to the experience. So yeah, my chocolate tasting adventure at Venchi in Venice was seriously the highlight of my trip. If you're ever in Venice and you love chocolate, you gotta check it out. It's the best!
