We had a wonderful time truffle hunting with the guide, Margherita, truffle hunter and his dog. The weather is very nice that day and the hunter manage to find 3 white truffles and 1 black truffle. Margherita is an amazing guide. She is very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about truffles. Highly recommend!!!!

This was an amazing experience and I'm so glad we did it. We had such a good time tromping around in the woods with an experienced truffle hunter and his very cute truffle dog. Francesca is very knowledgeable and great at quickly translating for the English speakers among us. We found a couple of white truffles and too many black truffles to count. Highly recommend!!

Amazing and authentic experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We were lucky to be there during white truffle season and the hunter found 3 white truffles! Great activity for the whole family.

Fun and informative experience! Both the guide and the truffle hunter were very kind and passionate about this activity which in turn made it that much more interesting. We even found 3 small white truffles. Would do it again!

We had a wonderful time participating in this tour. Our guide was Frederica, who was personable , very knowledgeable about everything Alba, not only truffles, and just a lovely sweet young woman. We spent almost 3 hours with her, the hunter, his dog, and about 4 other couples. The hunter was also very personable and knowledgeable and his adorable dog , did not disappoint ! I think she found about 5 truffles, black and white! This was a fun afternoon and not something we could ever experience “ at home”. It was totally worth the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to this area. Be sure to book in advance.

I went to Zermatt for a solo trip. It was lovely. I wish the breakfast had more things and they had better pillows to be honest. But the hotel is good, and the restaurant inside as well. Very polite staff. I recommend.

We had a fantastic time, hunting truffles in a hazelnut orchard! Margherita is an excellent guide and translator! We learned so much about truffles and were thrilled every time the dog (Flora) started frantically digging! She found both black and white mushrooms, and we purchased a small white one, at the end of the hunt! Boots were provided and the hunt lasted for about 2 hours. I would highly recommend this!

It was truly an interesting experience to see truffle hunting in real time and learn about different types of truffles. Our guide and truffle hunter and his dog were great, we had such a good time. Our guide came to the meeting place (which was at the Alba cemetery parking lot for my group) and we followed the guide's car for about 10 minutes to the truffle hunting hill/area. I would definitely recommend it if you have time for a day trip to Alba. The town is very cute and there is free parking near the train station where you can park so you don't have to enter the ZTL zone.

This was quite a unique experience, we really enjoyed it. Host Margharita was great as well as our hunter and his faithful partner (dog)- Flora. Definitely need to use bug spray and cover up entirely as it’s deep into forest so countless encounters with hungry mosquitos and no-see-ums

Fantastic day and well worth the one and a half hour drive we had to do for it as we where staying in Gavi. Margherita was very helpful, suggesting we bring the Truffle hunt forward as the weather was to be bad on our day. The Truffle hunt was very informative and relaxing, getting to know and understand the way of life in the region. our Guide and dog found 4 Truffles. The Barolo tasting was equally as good if not better. We had such a selection of wines to taste and in such as relax setting. Would do the tour again if i was over there. just one point, the meeting point had us going to the wrong place in Alba, not sure if that was us or not.

For the price and location I expected the wine tasting could have been better. Only 4 wines were included . visit tour were below expectations
