We just completed an 11-day phototour through the Rub al Khali. Our demands were very specific and demanding. But Desert Flower Tours not only fulfilled our dreams but exceeded our expectations. Amazing trip of Muscat, Sur, the desert and Nizwa over 5 days. Very well organized and flexible enough to cater to our interests (history). Hilal was a pleasure to work with. He organized everything for us at short notice at the busiest holiday time at a very good price which we appreciated very much. Our guide, Adil was fantastic and took excellent care of us from the time we arrived in Muscat.

After a wonderful trip to Oman in November 2022 which was arranged by Desert Flower Tours we arrived back home very happy and had wonderful memories of our time spend amongst others in Muscat, Wadi Bani Khalid, Wahiba Sands and Nizwa and decided on another trip this year. Once again Hilal and his team acted very quickly and efficiently to arrange a fantastic schedule including booking inland flights, hotels and tours from the southern part of Oman ( Salalah) up to the upper northern part of Musandam. The tours were absolutely marvelous and out of this world from snorkeling in crystal clear waters and having dolphins swim beside the dhow, sleeping on a dhow as well as seeing black camels in The Empty Quarter… too many impressions to name them all. Not only was the itinerary splendid but also all local partners were extremely friendly and most competent. Hilal and his team also showed how well and cool headed they operate when our flight to Khasab was cancelled verY short term whilst we had already boarded and within a short time frame managed to re-arrange our schedule and flights and thus ensuring that even with this unfortunate cancellation our holiday still turned out to be perfect. Once again we thank Hilal and his team for this and can only recommend Desert Flower Tours to our friends and anyone who is as keen as we are to experience the sheer beauty of Oman.

For our first visit to Oman, we could not have wished for a better company to organise & guide our trip. Even before our flight, we were clearly updated on our trip program & the total price. Communication before, during and even after our trip was completely transparant. Our contact person Hilal, composed a personal trip program, which meeted our personal interests & most important, our budget. Our trip commenced with a warm welcome at the airport by our guide Adil. He guided us through all the small formalities and helped us with getting local simcards and checking out the best carrental companies. We were welcomed at the headoffice for a meeting with Hilal and the rest of their team. After a cup of coffee and some sweets our trip could finally take off. Our trip was filled with adventure, discoveries, tradition, good local food, cosy hotels and the best explanation. We have seen places with beautiful nature and history we had never expected to see in Oman. Hidden beauties which could only be found while being guided. Oman is a country full of tradition, history, religion, hospitality and beautiful nature. To get the most out of the country, I recommend to plan your trip with a guide. Hilal owns the company. I contacted him via email and he responded promptly. He arranged everything from airport pickup to city tour to visiting the mountains and seeing livestock auctions the way its been done for a thousand years. He came to our hotel to meet us and came to say goodbye. When I left Muscat I had a friend.

This tour made it so easy and convenient to see the highlights of Oman in the outskirts of Muscat especially when you only have a few days to spare. Working with this company was easy. The owner, Hilal, went above and beyond to try to accommodate my needs and requests. He even personally picked me up at the airport at 4am! He was also able to arrange extra activities plus our car rental so everything was already done for you. We got to see and do so much in the 5 days we spent in Oman. Another great experience was having our guide and driver, Abdullah who happens to be a photographer too. He drove us in a nice and comfortable SUV and he was very informative, knowledgeable and flexible with our itinerary especially during Ramadan when all the restaurants were closed during the day. He would make a trip with us to the grocery store so we can buy our food to eat at our hotel. He was also great company and open minded when it comes to discussing a variety of topics during our long drives. Over all, we had an amazing experience in Oman using this company and I highly recommend it especially if you only have a few days or if you want to have a stress-free holiday where you are driven around and you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Oman is a peaceful and beautiful country. The people are very nice and friendly. I really appreciate how much more traditional and true to their roots this country is yet they are warm and welcoming to their foreign visitors. I was surprised to find it very affordable even when our dollar exchange was not that great. It makes you want to splurge without going broke (based on US standards)!

We booked via Desert tour a desert tour and Wadi Bani Khalid. We had a great time. Everything was organized very well. Our guide spoke very good English. The desert camp were we slept was very luxury. Lunch and dinner were very tasty. I definitely would recommend this company managed by Halil Al Ghadani.

In november we had a fantastic private tour of 6 days with Desert Flower Tours. The organization and helpfulness were optimal and because they themselves are from Oman they know everything about their beautiful country and customs. I recently had the pleasure of spending a week with Desert Flower Tours during a photo workshop. Desert Flower organized a custom tour for our workshop.
