Chose the 2 hour Dolphin watching option from 10 to 12 with Coral Ocean Tours. Everything was very good and we did find dolphins, followed by an interesting cruise along the coast with commentary. Soft drinks supplied from a cold store and the staff were friendly.

My review is not for this tour but for blowholes in particular. Since it is not listed as an attraction, I am adding my review here. Having traveled a lot, there is hardly anything which we can now tag as first time experience. However, blow holes was surely a new and different experience. The holes were all covered for safety reasons. The ocean water erupts like a volcano from the holes with so much noise that I actually got terrified. It was an amazing experience. I think, more so, because it was high tide time and the ocean was really violent. Tip: The direct road in monsoons might get affected, but please do not give up. There are alternative ways of reaching there. Enquire and try to make it if you are in Salalah, it is worth the distance that you travel.

This is the best part of our trip to Salalah. Be ready to walk up and down a rocky trerrain. The place is not wheel-chair friendly. Walk up the walk way and you will have the best view of the coast and the clear blue ocean beneath. Blow holes are indeed a surprise since you may need to wait anywhere upto 10 mins or so to see one spout of water shoot up from the grill. Watch out for little crabs who get blown out along with the water.
