We are land of oil. La Granadella, located in les Garrigues Altes, is a municipality with a great olive-growing tradition. Here we have invested effort and energy to create and give life to the Museu de l'Oli de Catalunya. Located in the heart of the headquarters of the Cooperative of La Granadella contains the original facilities and machinery of the mill founded in 1920, which was in disuse since the decade of 1986. Throughout 2 hours, you can get to know the secrets to obtain and know how to differentiate a good extra virgin olive oil. You will learn how to get extra from the olives, getting to understand what are the factors that make our 'liquid gold' so valued worldwide by the best gourmets. In addition, as a contemporary ritual, we will learn to taste the oil under the shell of the altar of the old convent. We will taste the oils with local products, in order to find the best pairings for each one of them, applying to our dish the knowledge
