We unfortunately did not have time for a tour of the barrel room, but the time we did have for wine tasting was incredible. First, it's a gorgeous facility. Second the wines were fantastic. OUr hostess was knowledgeable at the wines, their production and was very hospitable. We just had to buy a few bottles to have during our journey and they did not disappoint. A must wine tasting stop.

After making an appointment the day before, we were received today by Noemi. A very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Actually we never had a winery visit like this, very personal, very informative and presented with passion and pride. Starting with a rosé, we went through the whole winery and tasted two probes from different barrels. Very interesting. Then we finished off with tasting a selection of three wines with a delicious pairing of Spanish dishes, in fact a complete lunch. When you are in the Ribera del Duero area, this is a “must visit”.

We stopped in for an impromptu wine tasting. Noemi was able to accommodate us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to meet. The wines were outstanding, we could not leave without taking a bottle of the flagship Pendón de la Aguilera!

We had a guided tour of the winery by Naomi and she was very knowledgeable. Her English was great and was able to explain the winery’s process of their wines. The winery itself was beautiful and we spent about 2 hours touring and tasting. I highly recommend the tour and the wines are great.

We had a fantastic tour, special thanx to Noemi!! She is doing a wonderful job, being very passionate about the winery so you will not only enjoy amazing wine but also have one of the most interesting tours in Ribera.

Four of us visited this winery in La Aguilera where we were hosted by the delightful Noemi for a thorough tour of the wine making facility and the opportunity to taste 3 wines. While their most famous wine is the Pendon (over $250 a bottle), the reserva and crianza represent terrific value. The tour was priced at a mere $25 per head and included a wonderful spread of typical wine accompaniments. Very friendly, a little off the beaten path and a great location. What more can one ask? And yes, you can taste the Pendón if you want at 20 euros a glass.
