This tour was absolutely phenomenal, Simon was a fantastic tour guide and ensured we were comfortable at all times. Beautiful views and amazing food, I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of the Lake District and enjoy a day out looking at gorgeous views.

Everything about this tour was stunning, from the driver’s knowledge of his surroundings to the hospitality I received when I was given a complimentary drink and candies, this tour was a revelation to new areas I had not yet explored 11/10 will do again

Simon's lake tour did not leave us wanting to go home, to James or anyone else! We could have just stayed in the lovely lake district and stared at the beauty of the hills and water forever. This area of England is vast, lovely and amazing. Without a guide, such as Simon, one would certainly be driving around in traffic and missing the views. Simon is not only knowledgeable of the region, he really seems to enjoy the location himself. Simon's love of the area was not missed on this tour. We saw all of the lakes, and explored some history, shopped in the small village of Hawkshead, hiked to a waterfall and were constantly wowed by the views! Simon was kind enough to take us to a market at the tour's end to purchase some needed items. You will enjoy the stunning lakes and you'll be riding with a "lake expert". Take this tour!

Simon’s terrific, a delightful and very knowledgeable guide. He provided a 2 hour late afternoon tour of the area; gratefully, the weather worked to our favor, and we were able to see many wonderful vistas and sights. He was also very thoughtful and accommodating to our needs. Simon also provided transit to and from the hotel to the train station. So very reliable and responsive via text. Highly recommend his services!

Simon was a very professional: quick in responding to our first query and offered a great plan for one-day tour. During the tour, too he was an excellent and knowledgeable guide telling a lot about the nature, villeges around the lake - very impressive. Highly recommended!

I booked a private tour via an email conversation with owner Simon Doherty. At no point during our correspondence did he state his bookings are non-refundable. When I had to cancel (due to one of my party having to self-isolate due to Cobid 19 immunity issues), he refused to refund my booking. Despite not issuing a contract or providing booking T&C's, he tries to get around this by putting a line in his emails that states that in the case of extreme bad weather of government travel restrictions a full refund will me made. This does not excuse the fact that he has NEVER stated my booking was non-refundable. On principal I am know taking him to court to recover my money. BUYER BEWARE !! I

I'm very satisfied this tour. The driver named Simon took us great scenery place, the beautiful lakes, mountains,falls,nice garden,etc. We enjoyed the whole Lake District. I had really nice time with tis tour. I recommend to my friends in Japan. Thank you so much.
