On its website states they've a direct bus between Heathrow Airport and St Albans. But that's a lie. After booking I found out its woth a third party which is areiva/greenline bus 724 and the fare only costs £2. But on their website charges £10. I've taken their Hatfield - Stansted route and that exists and reliable.

First they said the bus would be 1 hour late, then the bus never came and they were not sure when they would arrive. It was a very disgraceful experience. Do not buy a bus ticket from this company. I miss my flight ticket because of their staff and company

Incredibly complicated process trying to get from Gatwick to Heathrow for a connection. Booked the closest time to after my flight arrived and made a beeline to the exit. Absolutely no signage until you finally arrive at the bus stop - and no one around to ask questions. Unfortuately, didnt make the scheduled bus. Tried to figure out the next bus, but no information or time tables. Ended up on the Oxford bus company instead, which was parked in the same spots where National Bus also picks up. Worst part - National Bus was more than twice as expensive and no option for a refund!

Bus was 2 hours late. No information given as all the National Express employees ran away. Bus stunk of urine as well.

Due to flight late arrival booked online bus missed. Ticket office at terminal 2 Heathrow unhelpful. They just give out an emergency number to phone to change booked ticket. This number automatically answered then repeated a message that an agent would help have you ticket number ready for 31 minutes. There was no agent and no help. By contrast the bus driver was wonderful and extremely helpful. 5 stars for him.

An awful experience. Tried to book ticket online , couldn’t get the time I wanted, so bought for later time but really expensive ( comparable to rail fares). Tried amending time afterwards and suddenly it had the time I wanted to go in the first place but charged extra £5 to amend. And to my further frustration and anger when the coach came it was half empty, what a scam !

This bus service is run by company that does not give customers clean buses. Cleanliness, or lack of it, left us cringing.

Just wanted to write a review on behalf of my parents who told me JOHN went above and beyond to help them get on the coach even carrying their luggage. My dad is disabled so his help was very much appreciated. This man needs to be recognised for his great spirit and pride in his job. Great ambassador for your company National Express

The last three times I've been on a National Express coach from Manchester to London, the toilet has been in some way out of order. This is so unacceptable for a five hour journey. National Express, fix your coaches please. Right now I am sitting on a 5 hour coach with no toilet and no way to charge any of my devices, there is just no need. Its embarrassing.

National Express surprisingly was a very comfortable trip. I only did a short trip from Truro to Plymouth but I would consider this over the trains as GWR is forever striking or there are delays. I have booked my mother of 83 on the bus to and from Truro, I reserved a seat for her which I recommend - the bus drivers and from what she shared of her experience has been 5/5 I felt safe during my journey. The drivers adhere to speed limits and are very kind and helpful.

I've traveled with NE few times and I can affirm they should be ashamed of the service they offer. They delate or cancel trips, they even do overbooking. I was stuck in Norwich bus station one hour. The bus was there on time but, since already full, we have been asked to wait for another replacement bus that allegedly "should be here in ten minutes" but after 60 mins out in the cold we are still waiting. OH, NE, maybe ruining my past New year's eve last year was not enough, I get it. Next time that I wish to complain about Italian long distance transport I will think about you and I'm sure I'll feel better and lucky. Thank you.

Very comfy seats. Girl on phone in next door seat for 45 mins therefore not a peaceful journey! Air con wasn't on therefore very stuffy.
