Overview
Western Norway’s Pulpit Rock is a towering cliff-plateau directly suspended over the Lysefjorden. Hikers flock here to dangle over the precipice and photograph the meandering blue fjord. This guided hike leaves from Stavanger brings you safely to the edge of the rock to take in the view. You’ll have an hour at the top to take pictures, relax, and eat lunch or a snack.
What to Expect
Pick up from your hotel in Stavanger area approximately 7:15. 
We'll drive to the ferry station in a van to cross the fjord, then there is a short ride on the other side to our starting point. 
At our starting point will be Preikestolen Mountain Lodge. Starting time will be around 9:00.
Ahead we have a 2 hours scenic hike to Pulpit Rock Preikestolen.
We spend an hour on the top, looking at the breathtaking view and eat our lunch/snack. 
We'll follow the same way back, and will be in Stavanger approximately between 15:00-16:00.
The cost of this trip includes all transportation and covers the cost for your guide. Lunch is not included.
Please be advised to wear proper clothes and footwear for the hike.

Must do hike

Great hike for the views. The guide (Geir) was knowledgeable and helpful, e.g adjusting the pace. Make sure you hike up above the main platform to get the best views.
