Great trip BUT specifics are sketchy and may not make it back in time if your cruising.
The trip itself was very beautiful. The Information from trip advisor and the company were something else though. Neither were very informative on the bus situation after the hike on getting back to stravanger. I got a text the night before our trip saying they didn't send me the correct tickets and asked me to respond to let them know I actually got them. They also told me I was going to need money for the ferry to get back to stravanger. I got no reply from any of the questions I had asked. Nobody from the trip new exactly how to get back to stravanger almost 50 people. And many were from the cruise ship and had to be back at certain time. They made it with 15 minutes to spare. There was no ferry that we had to take. The bus did take us back. The views were great and the trip was worth it. Just be aware it may be a little stressful getting back to the starting spot and the return spot is not were you left. It's were the busses come in to town.

Breathtaking experience to be able to view the fjords, mountains, and cliffs during a short visit to Stavanger. Am in awe of the beauty of Norway! Even on a cloudy, rainy day, it was worth it. Highly recommend…

This tour was one of the best we had. The folks managing the tour are super helpful. The scenery along the fjords is spectacular! We were lucky to have had great weather and were able to see the magnificent natural seascape and landscape by going to the upper deck of the boat. Be ready with a jacket at this time of the year, it can get windy and cold. The boat went close to a waterfall and boat crew scooped up some water for the passengers to taste. Smooth taste! There were also friends of the boat crew - goats on the steep hillside that they fed. It was fun!

This was a great excursion! Captured many amazing photos/videos! Highly recommend if its your first time here, and recommend staying on deck to get some great photos/videos on the way out then can go inside and just enjoy the view back to the port. It was cold/rainy in October so ensure you are prepared and bundled up if you go in the fall/winter especially.

Nice trip, but it's expensive. The price is much lower if book on the cruiser website, about half price.

I was really happy with this tour. A really close walk from the cruise ship, overall the tour was three hours (insert Gilligan's Island Music). Great up close pictures of some of the water falls and nearby houses. We were able to see Pulpit Rock vaguely because of the weather. We were even lucky enough to see seals. The boat was luxurious, nice seats, wifi, food and bathrooms.

I'm commenting on My Holidays Online, a ripoff company engaged in false advertising. We booked this tour to go from our cruise ship since the advertising for this tour said "Guaranteed to get back to your ship on time. " And furthermore, it says "At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time." When we arrived at the tour boat, the personnel there siad they had no such agreement to get anyone back to their cruise ship in time, and the tour was longer than the 3 hours advertised on Trip Advisor. We went to the tour operator to get our money back since we couldn't go on the tour and risk missing our cruise ship. The boat company they said they don't have anything to do with the false advertising of ticket marketeers. I fought this for months through the credit card company but My Holidays Online refused to refund the money, saying that we had agreed to their 24-hour advance cancellation policy. Well, you can't cancel 24 hours in advance if you don't know until you get there that the advertising was false. We could not take the tour and lost our money. They refused to give the money back AND THE FALSE ADVERTISING IS STILL THERE. The boat tour does not guarantee getting you back to your ship. Another reviewer also talked about this company. You can book directly with the cruise company and get a better deal. We were out $250 and could not book another cruise after coming all the way from the U.S. and had only one day in port. Sooo, sooo angry!!!

The Rocks, it was amazing, the nature, i found no words. You must see it with your own eyes. The Boat was very clean and there was a Bistro on Board.

Although some of the scenery was excellent and worth the trip, it is average service and way overpriced. Not a value for money tour.

DO NOT BOOK WITH MY HOLIDAY ONLINE WITH VIATOR. I booked with them The North Cape, Reindeer and Sami Families Tour 6/16/22 out of Honningsvag while onboard Island Princess and I found out they do not have a bus , do not have a guide and do not answer phone calls and the local people never heard of them, besides, Viator agent could not assist you for your booking. As Viator is also at their mercy. All the viator agent can do is telling you the incorrect info My Holiday online gave to them . Viator agent not able to find the correct info you needed to board the bus, run by another company, Your will only know when the tour will start, 2 days befor departure and no tour voucher be provided. The bottom line is DO NOT BOOK ANY TOUR WITH MY HOLIDY ONLINE. THE LOCAL PEOPLE NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY.

Is this tour only for cruise guests or can we book it as “normal” tourists that stay in stavanger too?
My husband lost his hearing aid on the boat, but was told by a member of the crew it was handed to another passenger to hand in back on the cruise ship but this didn't happen. Please could you contact me

If the boat is not scheduled to dock and disembark passengers until 10:00 am, can you still take this tour?

I am taking this tour in mid-August.
Is the boat standing-room and/or is there seating?
Are we wearing a lifejacket for the duration of the boat tour?
Is there an inside and outside of the boat?
Any idea on what to expect on the boat is appreciated!
