- christinabQ9455ZQ00Charming Sing a long fjord cruiseFantastic trubadour who makes the evening complete! The Oslo fjord archipelago is a beautiful scenery. The old sailingships are really charming. You get a nice picnicbasket with some cheese and cured ham tapas, bread&aioli. The bar has all rights. The crew are welcoming and serviceminded. You dont have to sing along, just enjoy 3h on the fjord!
- LizCris100Oslofjord sightseeingLovely tour, comfortable boat, pleasant people. You might want to opt for the written tour. The verbal tour is via website and we had difficulty downloading it.
- sd660201600Great experienceLovely scenery, interesting commentary, polite staff. Not over-crowded which was a plus. Highly recommend this boat trip
- T7981LNgaryw00Very disappointed!Didn't happen! Waited at the pick up point until after the given time with 8 other people who were also waiting and after one of the others rang we found out it had been cancelled. Supposedly we had all been sent an email but not one of us had! Happened again when we were in Stockholm with our booked Vasa tour.
- Y4148ZOgeorged00Oslo the place to be.Quality at its best, it was so good. I have booked to go back in September 2023, the people are so friendly. Oslo has such a vibe, you just want to spend more time there. Plenty to see and do, and the trip out into the Fjords was so relaxing. Great places to eat and drink, and the transportation is really good in Oslo. But please remember you may have to download travel apps for buses and railways, also cruise of the Fjords.
- eds66300Great experienceExcellent one hour cruise. Lots of sightseeing and good guided commentary. Learned a lot about Oslo
- Jed_and_Brenda00Sightseeing Oslo by boatBeautiful day on a nice comfortable boat. I knew there was no narration and downloaded the app, but the pre-recorded explanations were short, not very informative and hard to relate to the point of interest. For example, there was discussion of a golf course you couldn’t see and not really interesting anyway. A live narrator would be much better even if the cost was higher. Also, everyone had a hard time finding the starting point since the boat was out when we arrived. There is a flag, but no kiosk. A simple sign that says “Oslofjord Tour starts here” would go a long way.
- 823marlenar00Disappointed!The directions shown on the page sent me to the wrong dock and I missed the cruise. I am utterly disappointed!
- 245tarekm00Perfectvery nice and pleasant trip. we were lucky with the weather. and very nice views. a tip is to come a little earlier to get better seats out on the deck. very few seats out on the deck
- 679quintinc00Very relaxing, comfortable, good value - download commentary beforehandWe took a seat upstairs outside at the back in full sunshine (were at front of queue to make sure we got a seat with an unrestricted view). It was fantastically relaxing just to see the world go by. I thought the commentary would be given on board somehow, but this needs to be downloaded in advance via an app I think - read the confirmation email closely! So - we didn't know exactly what we were looking at - but still really enjoyed it. It seemed to be good value to us.
- Q6921KO00Stay away! This is not a cruise or guided tour. This was not a guided cruise. It was a ferry boat leased out to Trollcruise to carry passengers a few times a day. Nothing more. There was no crew except the ferry crew, and they did not interact with the passengers in any way. 1. First, the boat was late arriving, forcing passengers to wait in the cold rain with no shelter for 15 minutes. 2. Second, the boat was freezing. There was air coming from the ventilation ports, but it was cold. About half way through he trip I lost feeling in my fingers. 3. Third, the audio commentary was useless. The volume was so low, it was impossible to hear unless you stood directly under a speaker. And even then, the speaker used such poor English that it was impossible to understand 90% of what she said. There were brochures for Voice of Norway on the benches that promised a synchronized audio guide, but the app content had nothing to do with the cruise. Don't waste your money on this!
- Stephen_LJ120800Boat TourVery good, Boat Was Calm in The Water, refreshments on board however for tea drinks ensure you ask if they have milk first as once the teas were made we was told no milk, so black tea was interesting *Ferry Terminal 4 (Right Que Fjord Cruise)*
- P_HaRdYbuzzbuzz00Excellent ExperienceA fantastic experience and great value for money. Interesting information given in English throughout. Its good to move about the boat as well so you get views from all sides. Me and my mother really enjoyed it. Thank you ☺
- Susanne H00Perfect boat tour around OsloVery interesting tour around Oslo and the Fjord. Interesting information during the trip. Also very good new ship, cruising completely silent and only with electric power through the water! Perfect!
- R D00Good value.A fantastic trip. We booked for 11am on a Sunday so it was quite quiet. We'd read reviews that said the left would have the best views, which was correct. The front of the boat was cold and quite crowded however we moved to the rear deck which was sheltered and much warmer. From there we felt like it was a private tour! The narration was informative without being too much, the views are breathtaking, and the whole experience really good value for money.

Easy to book online.
On the day it was difficult to find the right berth, but we asked around and found it.
Staff were very friendly, and served with a smile.
It is very weather depend, we had very good weather and the journey was very pleasing. It was just nice to go around the Fjords in a wooden ship.
Whilst the food was very good, it is worth noting that they serve a fish buffet only. We are not aware of any other alternatives other than bread/butter.
Overall we thought it was good value for money, and definitely worth doing it if it's good weather.

We really enjoyed our dinner cruise. The crew was very pleasant and professional. The food was good but it is only seafood and bread. Some kind of salad would have been nice. This dinner cruise was a good value.
My only recommendation is that the information from TripAdvisor should contain the cruise company name, Troll, in more places on the confirmation. We had trouble figuring out which ship it was.

Two ships sailed at the same time, ours, the Christiana, and Helen, from deck 4, in front of the City Hall. Ours was peaceful, with soft recorded music and family and friends talking, taking photographs. The other was a party boat, with loud live music, people cheering, yelling (even “mooning” at us). Both were running in motors and not sails, that were nowhere to be seen.
The ship was fully booked and we had to wait standing until the captain found us a place, on a table that had been added, wich we shared with a family of three.
It was a smooth tour around the fjord. When the buffet was ready, we had to go downstairs, through a steep, narrow stair, to grab bread, butter, lettuce and whole cold shrimps; after removing the head and shell, they were rather small (cocktail size or U-30).
The bar had wine, champage, beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water for sell. It was getting cloudy and the captain did his best to place us behind a clear spot, but around 9:00 he couldn’t avoid the rain anymore and we all rush down to the windowless ship cask. A Russian or Polish group started playing guitar and singing softly, very nicely.
After about 30 minutes the rain stopped and we all emerged, using the ship’s blankets to sit on the wer benches, in time to see the return to harbor.

I am giving 4 stars simply for the fact that the captain put up with our shenanigans in feeding the seagulls, that created a swarm around the boat 😂 The advertisement was a bit misleading as this was not a working sailboat - which we were expecting. The shrimp/crayfish/crab claw buffet was subpar but the crew were all young and friendly, and we met some great people from around world.

The food was very tasty and hit the spot. The boat ride takes you though charming little islands and I am in love with the wooden red houses ❤️

Does cruise sail after August 10th?

I believe so, yes. They have a webpage with a bit more information, I am not allowed to post links here, but if you search for TrollCruise, it'll come up. By the looks of it, they sail the whole summer. The price on the website is a bit higher, so I booked through TripAdvisor and instead of 110 Euro for 2 people, I got a special offer that brought the price down to 76 for two :)
