- Corinne B00Best way to see Oslo sightsI booked for me (mum) and 2 boys (11 and 14). We are not people who usually cycle but we managed really well on this cycling tour of around 3 hours in total. The bicycles and helmets were in great condition and tour guides were there to help us choose bicycles and adjust seat height. Kat, our tour guide, took us on an interesting and informative tour of Oslo. It was a good pace with plenty of stops for Kat to check the group were all still following through traffic lights in the city, not too many cars around so pretty safe. The route was mainly flat with a short stretch uphill towards the Royal Palace but don't let this put you off if you're not the fittest! The last stretch is downhill 😁 We had enough time to take photos and listen to a few facts and stories along the way. Would really recommend to anybody, we saw so much more cycling than we would have by walking or using public transport. Thank you Kat, it was a perfect way to spend our last afternoon in Oslo.
- millieoldwood00A must do experience in OsloA must do experience in Oslo. Our tour guide Freddy’s English was excellent and he provided the perfect balance of humour and history along the tour. The bikes were easy to ride, the roads were clear and the attractions were interesting. He gave our group plenty of time to take pictures and walk around each stop along the way. If you’re looking for a tour of Oslo, this bike tour is the one for you!
- Hilaryot00Great experienceEven in the rain we had a great time. Lars was a great tour guide and tried to keep as dry as possible while still showing us the beautiful sites of Oslo.
- 826hayleyw00Three hour bike tourViking biking was a great find. We enjoyed a three hour bike tour around the great sights of Oslo with tour guide Jon. Jon told us many facts and kept us well entertained through the whole tour. The route is gentle and enjoyable for all ages.
- TravelerO27900Good Tour of OsloNice biking tour of Oslo to see the highlights. You meet the guides at the Viking Biking garage on the back end of the Ferry Terminal to the southeast/east of the Fort. Miki was our guide and did an excellent job. The ride goes for a couple hours and you see alot with stops along the ride to take pics, bathroom breaks, etc.. Only recommendation is make sure you how to ride a bike (i.e. can pedal uphill, change gears, etc.) and bring appropriate rain gear as it comes and goes and sometimes the tour doesn't stop under shelter.
- jimsc4500Convenient, Fun and EducationalWas a great way to see the various highlights of the city. Has an extremely convenient meeting point that was a 5 min walk from where our Cruise ship docked,
- nicolleo37800Amazing Bike Tour of OsloLars was an incredible guide for our private bike tour of Oslo. His insight as a resident of Norway and also having lived abroad was enlightening. We were able to get a feel for many different aspects of Oslo. Thank you.

- worktotravelVirginia00Fantastic Introduction to Oslo!Viking Biking and more specifically Jon was a fabulous tour! Exceeded expectations with his ability to explain the history and the city with welcomed humor! We had beautiful weather and felt completely safe throughout the ride. It was a great introduction to the city; we did this on our second day after arriving from the US.
- StorkRN100Great tour! Got to upgrade to an e-bike!I was actually booked on a scooter tour w another company that was canceled last minute and the gal from Viking Biking was there and it was a happy accident I got on a bike tour instead! I had a minor foot injury, so I upgraded to the e-bike and that was even better! Our guide, Miki, was great! Very personable and patient w all of us! Great way to get an overview of Oslo, especially if you’re limited on time!
- robertogF1393YX00Great bike ride! ThanksAnya, our guide, was great, kind, knowledgeable, available. Ride was everything that was advertised. Good way to see the city!

We had an amazing and beautiful trip! The guide (Susan) was really upbeat and edited the tour Accor to the things we wanted to see and what we have already seen. She even extended the tour to give some extra explanation even though we were running late.
So overal an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo!!

Great tour, my highlight in Oslo! Curtis was super nice and had lots of interesting storys and facts to tell. It was a rainy November day and only me on the tour, but he did not mind either at all and really cheered me up, it felt more like friends cycling through the city. Do it as well, I recommend it! 😊

"Friends cycling through the city" -- what a wonderful way to describe that day on tour. Thanks so much and I really appreciate you joining the winter tour even on a less than ideal day of weather.
Best regards,
Curtis

What a super bike tour! We explored the peninsula of Bygdoy on a cold but sunny day. The bikes were very comfy and Curtis told us everything we wanted to know about people, the country and much more. We got a great glimpse of Norway and enjoyed the three hour ride through woods, royal farmland and along the beautiful coast. Do not miss it!

Thank you so much for the lovely review, and for a great day on the bikes. It was a really beautiful ride along the coast and if it were just a few months ago, we certainly could have enjoyed a swim. But in November, a nice stop for tea was a good alternative :-) I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Oslo.
Best regards,
Curtis

We did this bike tour on a very snowy/icy Saturday morning. I was a little bit worried about putting my trust in the bike but I shouldn't have been! Our guide was fabulous, he took us to all the best sights and told us so much useful information. Its because of him we ended up eating in a great cheap fish restaurant and trying the floating Saunas. The highlight of the tour was cycling along the river and waterfalls and the indoor food market. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see more of Oslo. It was perfect for us. I couldn't stop smiling!

Hi Kerrie,
Your nice review is much appreciated and thank you for taking the time to both join the tour and post such kind words. We love introducing our winter customers to the joys of the studded tires. It is such a thrilling experience to bike on snow and ice in complete safety! Exploring the city Viking style :-)

I thoroughly enjoyed the bike tour of Oslo. The city is quiet and is very safe for cycling. Bikes make it a very fast and easy way to get between the sights.
Our guide was excellent and knowledgable. I learned a lot about Oslo, both historically and contemporary.
Would highly recommend this!

Thank you David for your nice review, and for joining me on tour. I had a nice time with you and the other 8 participants on tour -- a hearty bunch ready for some winter riding! Bravo and even a guy used to 35 degrees down under can handle a bit of an Oslo winter :-)
Best regards,
Curtis

Thank you for joining the tour with me last month. It was brisk but that is what sets our winter bike tour customers apart from other visitors to the city that time of year : you are tough and have some Viking in you :-)
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Norway.
Best regards,
Curtis

Hi Shaun,
I appreciate any review that includes "wonderful waffles" as part of the details. Thanks for joining the winter bike tour, even in the cold. Those winter tires can handle anything the Norwegian winter throws at us :-)

Hi Lauren,
We are sorry about the cancellation but wish you could have been a bit more understanding. You re-booked the tour on another day (02 January) and it seems you really had a good time with your tour guide Niamh. On New Year's Eve, we unfortunately had to cancel the tour because the guide who was scheduled could not make it -- we tried to find a replacement guide, but with a reduced staff available over the holidays it was not possible. We then notified you a day in advance of the cancellation (not last minute), refunded your money in full and gladly welcomed you on tour a couple days later. It seems we handled the situation as well as we could and appreciate that you still took the time to join us on tour. We just wish you hadn't left an angry review before taking and enjoying the actual Winter Highlights bike tour of Oslo.

It was such fantastic fun and really added to our experience of Oslo.
The bike were equipped with winter tyres that kept us from slipping around, our tour guide, Josh, was very lively, friendly and fun.
The experience was awesome and despite it being advertised for 'experienced' cyclists, was very easy to follow.
Thank you team Viking!

Thank you Angelique for the nice review and I am sure Josh will be happy to read your kind words. Winter tyres are wonderful, and make it safer than walking thanks to the 400+ studs per bike. A little ice and snow just add to the ambiance as we safely make our way around the city on well kitted winter bikes!
Best regards,
Curtis
