- Corinne B00Best way to see Oslo sightsI booked for me (mum) and 2 boys (11 and 14). We are not people who usually cycle but we managed really well on this cycling tour of around 3 hours in total. The bicycles and helmets were in great condition and tour guides were there to help us choose bicycles and adjust seat height. Kat, our tour guide, took us on an interesting and informative tour of Oslo. It was a good pace with plenty of stops for Kat to check the group were all still following through traffic lights in the city, not too many cars around so pretty safe. The route was mainly flat with a short stretch uphill towards the Royal Palace but don't let this put you off if you're not the fittest! The last stretch is downhill 😁 We had enough time to take photos and listen to a few facts and stories along the way. Would really recommend to anybody, we saw so much more cycling than we would have by walking or using public transport. Thank you Kat, it was a perfect way to spend our last afternoon in Oslo.
- millieoldwood00A must do experience in OsloA must do experience in Oslo. Our tour guide Freddy’s English was excellent and he provided the perfect balance of humour and history along the tour. The bikes were easy to ride, the roads were clear and the attractions were interesting. He gave our group plenty of time to take pictures and walk around each stop along the way. If you’re looking for a tour of Oslo, this bike tour is the one for you!
- Hilaryot00Great experienceEven in the rain we had a great time. Lars was a great tour guide and tried to keep as dry as possible while still showing us the beautiful sites of Oslo.
- 826hayleyw00Three hour bike tourViking biking was a great find. We enjoyed a three hour bike tour around the great sights of Oslo with tour guide Jon. Jon told us many facts and kept us well entertained through the whole tour. The route is gentle and enjoyable for all ages.
- TravelerO27900Good Tour of OsloNice biking tour of Oslo to see the highlights. You meet the guides at the Viking Biking garage on the back end of the Ferry Terminal to the southeast/east of the Fort. Miki was our guide and did an excellent job. The ride goes for a couple hours and you see alot with stops along the ride to take pics, bathroom breaks, etc.. Only recommendation is make sure you how to ride a bike (i.e. can pedal uphill, change gears, etc.) and bring appropriate rain gear as it comes and goes and sometimes the tour doesn't stop under shelter.
- jimsc4500Convenient, Fun and EducationalWas a great way to see the various highlights of the city. Has an extremely convenient meeting point that was a 5 min walk from where our Cruise ship docked,
- nicolleo37800Amazing Bike Tour of OsloLars was an incredible guide for our private bike tour of Oslo. His insight as a resident of Norway and also having lived abroad was enlightening. We were able to get a feel for many different aspects of Oslo. Thank you.
- davidbH7765FJ00Excellent tour, definitely recommendAn excellent tour and would highly recommend. Our guide, Emily, was very knowledgable and fun and made the trip even better. A great way to see the main sights of the city.
- HMac7300We loved this bike tour. This was a great tour - even in the rain. We found out loads of interesting information about the city from Jon. Plenty of rest time too.
- worktotravelVirginia00Fantastic Introduction to Oslo!Viking Biking and more specifically Jon was a fabulous tour! Exceeded expectations with his ability to explain the history and the city with welcomed humor! We had beautiful weather and felt completely safe throughout the ride. It was a great introduction to the city; we did this on our second day after arriving from the US.
- StorkRN100Great tour! Got to upgrade to an e-bike!I was actually booked on a scooter tour w another company that was canceled last minute and the gal from Viking Biking was there and it was a happy accident I got on a bike tour instead! I had a minor foot injury, so I upgraded to the e-bike and that was even better! Our guide, Miki, was great! Very personable and patient w all of us! Great way to get an overview of Oslo, especially if you’re limited on time!
- robertogF1393YX00Great bike ride! ThanksAnya, our guide, was great, kind, knowledgeable, available. Ride was everything that was advertised. Good way to see the city!

I would highly recommend this tour. We took a private tour (just my husband and myself) with Curtis. I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. We had planned one trip, seeing some sights, foods, etc, and Curtis asked us a few questions, watched our riding ability, and then asked if we might want to change the plans and see more of the courtryside. It would be a longer distance, with different views. My husband immediately opted for the alternate plan. We were not disappointed. Curtis not only told us about what we were seeing, and the history, but really taught us about Norwegian culture, how they incorporate the land, exercise, and being outdoors as part of a way of life. It was so much more than just telling about sights, it was an education into a way of life in Norway. And along the way, we saw beautiful countryside just outside of a capitol city. If someone can afford a private tour, it is the way to go, if not, go with a a group. It was worth every penny and more to us.

I would give these guys 50 stars! I did a tour with them several years ago and had a blast. It was great. But this year, I was planning a trip for a family (I am a Travel Agent) and contacted them for a private afternoon tour in Oslo. One of their kids is a teenager with Down's Syndrome and can't realy ride a bike. The owner searched and searched and finally found a bike powered rick-shaw and had one of his young, strong guys power her along with her family. At one point I told him to give up, and her Mom would just stay back with her, but he didn't! This family had the nicest private tour. I cannot reccommend this company enough!

Thank you for the nice review, which is especially appreciated during these quiet Covid times. We can't wait to open up again for tours this coming summer so we can get back to doing what we love: guiding our international customers around this beautiful and green city.
Best regards,
Curtis

We took this tour last
Sunday with NIAMH. We had first wanted to take the city tour, but it was full and we are so glad we did this one. You can do the city yourself on foot! We rode along the beautiful river right inside the town, through diverse neighbourhoods, getting great information and history from our very knowledgeable guide.guide. She was also eager to answer all of our questions. Also visited the Opera House. This was a well paced tour, bikes in great shape. They were very organized and on time.

Tour started out great, with cool air and sunshine helping. I liked going along the river, too, but maybe a little less time on the river and less time going through crowded streets near the end and a little more time in the neighborhoods would have improved it.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Most of our customers find the Akerselva River to be the highlight of the tour, with its funky street art, covered food market, numerous waterfalls and amazing nature right in the city center. Everyone has their own preferences of course, so we are glad that you still found the tour to be a nice spin through Oslo.

Curtis

We enjoyed our tour a lot! From start (e-mail contact) to finish (end of tour). All was perfectly fine. Great way to see the waterfalls in Oslo and other areas you wouldn't easily find as a one day tourist. Our tour guide told us the right things. (All boring facts I can read in a guidebook) She told us about the Norwegians and their habits. We were all (51,53,17,19) very happy we booked the tour. Would do it again with these guys!!

Thank you for the nice review and we are glad that you found the tour to be more from a local's perspective, not just a bunch of facts from a guidebook. That is why we have so much fun guiding -- each guide shares the tour from his or her perspective, about life in Norway and the culture here.
Best regards,
Curtis

The tour guide was nice, however her knowledge was below the standard you can expect from a guide. Most of the information was very basic, the details were lacking. Half of the group left half way into the tour (6 guests wanted to do the rest of the tour on their own).

Hi Frederik,
Thank you for taking the time to post a review, but we are of course disappointed that the tour did not live up to expectations. I will message you directly to get more input from you so we can make sure in the future no other customers have a similar experience. Do note that the customers who left half way into the tour did not do so because they were unhappy -- they simply wanted to ride faster and farther then the tour went, so they changed from a guided tour to a rental. They returned to the shop at the end of the day very happy with their bike experience in Oslo.
Best regards,
Curtis

Had the same departure time on the Regal Princess after doing the bike tour. We made it back to the ship inside 20 minutes and had 10 minutes to shop. At Oslo and nearly every other port, the ship did not leave until 10- 15 mins after the stated time.

Are these electric bicycles?
I’m in Bergen, do I need to take the fairy back over to Oslo? If yes and what time does the tour(s) start?
Thanks,

Our ship docks at 10:00 a.m. Are there any other departure times that we could make?
