What to expect
Greet your guide at Oslo City Hall and climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach to begin your sightseeing tour of the city. Stop first at the renowned Vigeland Park, a verdant expanse that immortalizes the work of iconic sculptor, Gustav Vigeland. Stroll amid more than 200 bronze and granite sculptures before enjoying a photo stop at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, the vertiginous slope used in the 1952 Winter Olympics.  Travel onward to Bygdøy Peninsula, a charming city neighborhood that boasts some of the city’s most influential museums. Take a tour of the FRAM Museum where you can see the polar ship Fram, a wooden vessel that traveled along the Arctic Sea in the late 1800s. Take a tour of the powerful schooner—the first boat to reach the South Pole—and learn about life at sea in the harsh polar conditions. Then, pay a visit to the Viking Ship Museum, home to three of the world's best-preserved Viking ships and get an insightful introduction to the Viking Age. Afterward, take a short stroll to the pier to board your sightseeing cruise around the beautiful Oslo Fjord. Seat yourself in the warm, covered deck and admire the idyllic bays and beautiful islands that decorate the fjord. Listen to onboard commentary from your guide and then return to the dock. Return to the tour’s original departure point.

This tour was a great way to see Oslo if you only have a short time to visit. It packs in a little of everything! The fjord cruise was a great ending!

Ok, Not Sure if it is Worth it
This tour was decent, but not great. It is arguable whether or not it was worth the high price. A lot of what you see, is while driving in the bus and it is hard to see anything because of the speed at which you are going, or maybe the sights are on the opposite side of the bus you are sitting on, etc.

I wish we had more time at the Viking museum. I also which we had more time at the ski course. The boat ride was nice, pretty long actually, you see some islands and the Oslo coastline but don’t expect to see a traditional fjord, no cliffs, nothing spectacular

Dear Guest, Thank you for joining our tour and for taking the time to review it. We’re sorry to hear you have doubts whether the tour was worth the price or not, and I can only say the price includes a package discount and it’s cheaper than booking the bus tour and the boat tour separately. Indeed, during the panoramic sightseeing in the city centre there are no stops included, but we’re driving as slow as possible by all the main landmarks in the city, and the time spent at each location is right for taking in all the main attractions. Of course, one can always spend more time at the preferred attraction, but we’re trying to offer a good overview of the most important highlights in Oslo on this 7-hour tour. Regarding the cruise on the Oslo fjord, the scenery is of course different compared to the fjords on the Western coast of Norway, but we hope you still enjoyed it! We wish you all the best and we hope you enjoyed your trip to Oslo on the overall! Welcome back another time!

Great tour - I learnt so much about Oslo!
Oct 2019 • Friends
Fantastic trip, very knowledgable and lovely guide who taught me so much about Oslo and it’s fascinating history. Everything we passed seemed to have an interesting story and even when I begun to question in my mind what it was I was looking at, our guide, Helena, as if she could hear my thoughts, would fill in the gaps!

The only reason why I’m giving this tour four stars and not five is because there was a power outage at Fram museum, which meant a lot of waiting around until the power came back on, but even then, once the power came back, our visit was cut short.

I also found the cruise at the end could have been shorter. 45 minutes would have done me just fine. I also wish they served proper hot food on the cruise too. Nonetheless, the views of the Fjord and from the Fjord were absolutely beautiful. Autumn looks positively ravishing on Oslo!

Although I would have happily lingered at any of the sites the tour was a great overview of the City and its history.

Great way to get an overview of the city
Sep 2019
The attractions selected were the best in the city. The tour is a nice combination of walking & riding. The tour guide was personable & informative. The boat tour is on an open deck with overhead covers to protect from sun & rain. Even in early September, the wind was cold, so be sure to take warm clothing in layers.

Great tour in Oslo
Aug 2019
I can honestly recommend the full tour as it is going through the main attractions and during the transfer, you can learn a lot about Norway as well what otherwise you would miss. We were lucky with Helene as she was super helpful and kind as a guide.
I suggest doing this tour in the early days as someplace might need a little bit more time to fully and meaningfully visit so worth to go back to the same area in a later day if that is an option. For example, the statue park for me needed 2-3 hours as I really enjoyed it. but the guided tour has given some context to it so still worth to include it.

Great value

The city tour is a great way to knock out getting to all the major attractions in a few hours. The guide was very informative about the history of the city and what we were seeing. Well worth the money if you are on a short time-line or just want the ease of having a bus tour to all the sites. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Tour!!
Jul 2019
This 5 hour tour and 2 hour cruise was terrific. Our guide was very informative and pleasant. Being a huge sports fan I absolutely loved the Holmenkollen ski jump. The Fram museum and Viking Ship museum were very impressive. I felt that the amount of time spent at these sights was adequate. The city centre portion was nice but it was these other sights that made the tour so worthwhile because they are not close by or within walking distance. I especially loved the Vigeland Sculpture Park but felt like it could have been planned better. Our guide had us standing in one spot at the base of the statues just talking to us about the park (which is huge) that it gave us very little time to view the statues. You had to stay close to her because you didn't want to miss what she was saying but basically as soon as she was done we had to move on. I think had she told us about the park while riding on the bus or as a tour that I did in another city where we all had earphones and the guide had a device we he could speak to us but we didn't have to be standing right by him would have been better. We were able to walk about and still hear his narrative. I realize there is a lot to cram into a short amount of time so this could have been done in a better way. The tour company should think about how to improve this. The cruise was very beautiful and relaxing. Overall this tour was definitely worth doing.
