Trafalgar tours a waste of time and money.
The tour was with Trafalgar and was a 19 day Britain and Ireland Panorama. It was a very unorganized tour. The hotels we stayed at were at the outer parts of the city. We arrived to the hotels late and there were no pubs close to the hotels and the museums were already closed. The tour guide we had was less than mediocre.

    Excellent overview
The context provided by our tour guide added to our experience in spite of a little rain. Christian “ Chris” the history nerd gave us plenty to think about that enhanced our understanding of the park, museums, architecture and history of Oslo, Norway.

Great overview of the highlights of Oslo
Excellent guide. Good overview of the city. We saw a lot in 5 hours, but wished for even more time. Although we had seen most of the sights before, we learned many new things because of our guide Christopher.

    Great tour
Wonderful tour. Great guide, plenty of time in each place we visited. the places on the tour were all interesting and the neighborhoods we drove through were interesting in and of themselves.

    Disappointing Oslo City Tour
Took this tour today and was sorely disappointed as I had expected a relaxing guided tour only to have it spoiled by disruptive children and their loud parents. Driver and guide were very good but appeared helpless despite asking for silence . In addition 20 minutes of this your were taken to check these people in in a stop at the Copenhagen ferry.

    Intro to Oslo
Great way to get a blush around the city during the 5 hour trip. The stops were informative. The guide imparted knowledge stories of oslo history, events, and tips where to go to see the most at each stop. Bus is comfortable. Ear plugs provided with good audio system. Very enjoyable. Would recommend to my friends.

Even with rain the tour delivered all that we expected. As the tour guide quoted Norway does not have bad weather only bad clothing.

    Great overview tour
A well organised tour that provides a nice overview of Oslo that you can further explore afterwards. The guide spoke great English and had a good sense of humour. The bus was clean and modern. Recommended!

    Amazing trip!
We would not be able to see so many places without the amzing tour. In a few hours we got an impression of the city and visited several museums. Our tour guide Chris showed us his hometown with love and told us the history of Norway. The whole tour was a great experience.

Tour was very nice, gave lots of historical perspective on Norwegian history and culture. You start on a Double Decker bus, get dropped off at the Olympic Ski jump. Although you do not have time to go all the way up the jump, just looking up and taking pictures was enough. Then on to the Garden of Vigland, which I loved. The weather was great. Our tour guide gave lots of specific information about the statues, that we would have never known about otherwise. Then, picked up by the bus and taken to The Outdoor Folk Museum and Fram Museum. Again, all very educational. My teenage sons were very intrigued with both the outdoor village and then the Fram ship. We walked around the ship, then headed home. Again, well worth the money, guide was excellent, highly recommend!

A Wonderful Way to see Oslo.
We had a great tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the 5-hour tour and it was beautiful. We were only in Oslo for a few days so we wanted to see as much as possible and this tour helped us with that.

This tour was decent, but not great. It is arguable whether or not it was worth the high price. A lot of what you see, is while driving in the bus and it is hard to see anything because of the speed at which you are going, or maybe the sights are on the opposite side of the bus you are sitting on, etc.

I wish we had more time at the Viking museum. I also which we had more time at the ski course. The boat ride was nice, pretty long actually, you see some islands and the Oslo coastline but don’t expect to see a traditional fjord, no cliffs, nothing spectacular

Dear Guest, Thank you for joining our tour and for taking the time to review it. We’re sorry to hear you have doubts whether the tour was worth the price or not, and I can only say the price includes a package discount and it’s cheaper than booking the bus tour and the boat tour separately. Indeed, during the panoramic sightseeing in the city centre there are no stops included, but we’re driving as slow as possible by all the main landmarks in the city, and the time spent at each location is right for taking in all the main attractions. Of course, one can always spend more time at the preferred attraction, but we’re trying to offer a good overview of the most important highlights in Oslo on this 7-hour tour. Regarding the cruise on the Oslo fjord, the scenery is of course different compared to the fjords on the Western coast of Norway, but we hope you still enjoyed it! We wish you all the best and we hope you enjoyed your trip to Oslo on the overall! Welcome back another time!

An absolutely lovely day! The fjord cruise was a wonderfully relaxing end to the day. I highly recommend this tour not only if you have limited time in Oslo, but also to help you identify sites you want to go spend more time. In addition, our guide pointed out places the tour didn’t stop and gave her recommendations for places we might go on our own.

Hubby and I joined this tour and what a great introduction to Oslo! Our driver, Victor was very good and with clear instructions. Margaret our guide was just amazing. She is obviously an elderly lady what a stamina and walking city history book.

The three walking tours (Sculpture park, Open Museum and Fram) were absolutely delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

I love the fact they were using double decker bus, you see a while lot more when you are higher up.

It was also the perfect day for sailing in the afternoon. Pleasant company.

Love the trip and so well organised. Thanks for a wonderful way.

We especially liked the areas outside the city center. We got off the bus at the ski jump, the sculpture garden, and Fram museum. Also loved the boat ride. Main problem was the bus’ sound system through the earphones. Our guide, Christopher, was very knowledgeable but soft spoken and even at maximum we had a hard time hearing him. Granted we are older with aides. When he just talked through the main sound system, no problem.
The bus tour through town was as expected, just ok with earphones but the highlight was the wonderful walk through the Sculpture garden with his very helpful guidance. We understand so much better what we were seeing. Would have enjoyed a couple view photo stops. The next day we had a very good idea as to how to continue enjoying this lovely city based upon this overview.

Combination of coach and walking and fjord cruise in one package worked brilliantly, weather permitting. Need to make a special mention about the tour guide Christine who shared a wealth of information about the history of the city and the various sites we passed on the tour. Thoroughly recommended.

The Grand City bus tour and associated visits were excellent with informative and friendly guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see some of the main attractions with limited time.
The Oslo fjord cruise itself was excellent but sadly did not have any commentary which was dissappointing as we were not familiar with the islands we were passing. If you are looking for a boat trip I would advise choosing one with a commentary rather than this one if you are interested in the places you are passing.

We got to see the ski jump, sculpture garden and a couple decent museums. The bus ride was comfortable and tour guide knowledgeable. The fjord tour was just a tour around the bay though. We saw the opera house, a few light houses and some residential homes. Nothing too exciting. The only problems were the boat was way overcrowded and our group could only sit up top so we could not sit together. It was also a cold windy day with rain and while it was covered it was still outside with gusty winds and rain. This wasn’t the tour’s fault but I would not have gone on a 2 hour boat ride if I knew I’d be sitting outside. It was pretty miserable and there was no way to get out of the weather. They did serve hot drinks for a fee which was nice. But the boat tour we didn’t see anything really worthy that would make you want to be cold for 2 hours. We were in Oslo for only a day so the bus tour hit all the big spots. But I’d skip the boat if the weather wasn’t beautiful.

Fantastic tour with a great review of the history of Oslo. The stops with walks and museum tours were well spaced out, and there were several opportunities to get food/drink along the way. The fjord cruise was the perfect ending.

The whole tour was about 7.5 hours which makes for a long day, so just be prepared. I highly recommend it.

A great way to view the city during a short break to see as much as you can and finishing the tour with a voyage in the fjords was perfect. The host was outstanding, informative, entertaining and interesting throughout. Oslo in the summer, not to be missed.

Wonderful tour with visit s to the Fram museum, Vigiland sculpture park, the folk museum & ski jump. Our tour guide Margaret was very good and very knowledgeable. If we had it to do again, we would take the discovery tour and not the grand tour. The Oslo Fjord tour is just a harbor cruise on an open boat. It was cold and windy and even with jackets & caps we were still cold. They had blankets, but not enough for everyone. The end result was my husband catching a cold that made him miserable for days. If you're going to Bergen or the Sognefjord, skip this one and wait for a better cruise.
