Very disappointed in Gate 1 refund policy. I did pay over $1000 for no question asked travel insurance and I got back maybe 25% of the cost. I did not feel comfortable to travel to Egypt during the present horific war.

I took this tour on the second last day of Tromsø and discovered so many new places! I wish I had taken this tour on the very first day instead. I highly recommend this tour because it offers a unique opportunity to explore parts of Tromsø that you wouldn't typically discover on foot. It will also serve as an amazing introduction to Tromsø! Finally, the guide was amazing who knew the city soo well, and I loved the lefse!

The bike tour was wonderful. The tour guide was excellent and the bikes were very well maintained. It was so nice to bike around the island and see views, the botanical gardens, and much of the city. I would highly recommend this experience.

A really enjoyable day circling Troms island! Great fun using top-quality e-bikes which were comfortable and easy to use. At the end of the day Simon (our guide) asked if we had any questions. “Can we go round again?” Someone answered.

This was a wonderful way to see Tromso. Thomas was at great guide and the e-bikes were perfect. We would recommend this tour and company.

Fantastic tour of Tromso, covering almost all of the island. Our group was just the two of us with the guide. The guided part was important as we went many places you wouldn't find if self guided. Highly recommended.

Had my electric bike for over year and half , brought to tromso outdoor for a change of break system and basic service now the chain on my bycycle is flying of the teeth with sparks when cycleing. Everything was fine with gears and now almost flight of the road 3 times cause of this, danger to life . Staff dont know what they do, fake rating. Will not even come back to give another chance to fix it sorry

We have taken several guided bike trips around cities. It is a great way to get acquainted with the area. This trip was no exception. Our guides, Tomas and Eirik, were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had never used an E-bike before, but with good instructions we were off. The E-bikes were definitely the way to go. This was such an awesome activity to do, one of my favourite things in our stay in Tromso. We were very lucky with the weather as it was super sunny and clear so had incredible views and our guide Thomas was so nice and knowledgeable. Lovely snack at the top as well that was provided.

It was snowing so hard was so cold that I was the only one to show up for the hike. Even my husband bailed on me. Despite this the experience was amazing. My guide—Thomas— was a pleasure. He was so knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. Parts of the hike can be steep—especially in high snow—but not too bad. Highly recommend if you love to hike.

We did the Guided snowshoe hill hike on Kvaløya operated by Tromsø Outdoor and booked through visittromso.no it was a fantastic 4.5 hour trip with our guide Didi who was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. We had a wonderful hike up in a stunning scenery. You do not need any prior experience and only a moderate level of fitness is required. Absolutely to be recommended to anyone who seeks an unforgettable outdoor experience.

We rented crampons in advance of our trip to Tromso and they saved the trip for us. We live in a warm climate and had not been to the artic for a number of years and walking around Tromso with partial ice everywhere would have been difficult. We extended our rental by a day while in Tromso and returned them just prior to heading to the airport. The staff was very friendly.

This experience was the most incredible guided tour I had in all Norway! We’ve climbed a mountain thanks to this tour and it was such amazing experience, unforgettable! Our tour guide was amazing, kind and helpful and he speaks English but also was fluent in Spanish and French, a very knowledgeable person and with a funny touch ! Equipment was also great ( snow shoes, food, hot equipment ,etc…) If you are looking for adventure don’t hesitate to have this tour

We had a fantastic time! A huge thank you to our guide, Tomas. My partner and I didn’t realise we booked the 5hour hike, so on our way there we had a mini panic attack 😅 it’s quite a trek up the mountain, around 500m all incline. Apart from being unfit and wanting to give up, At a point my blood pressure started to drop and our guide, Tomas made sure to keep checking in and make sure I wasn’t feeling dizzy and that I was ok to keep going. We were incredibly lucky with the weather. Once we reached the top we got to relax for a little while, have some berry tea and cinnamon cake whilst taking in the breathtaking view around us. Thank you, Tomas - If it wasn’t for you to keep pushing me, I would have stopped half way and not been able to experience it all to the full!

The description of the tour is definitely not accurate! It was a two hour strenuous UPHILL snowshoe adventure… the guide seemed annoyed to be stopping for the slower people and it was a huge incline. I am in excellent shape and avid runner and it was very difficult. Going downhill, the guide only stopped twice in the hour to make sure the group was together. He seemed to only care about himself. It was beautiful though and we lucked out with a nice small group of people.
