About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- CaribbeanClai0 contributionsBeautiful Opera HouseWe had pre-booked tickets online for the Sleeping Beauty Ballet around 6 months in advance, I would recommend to do this if you want the best seats, although it is not cheap. We sat in the first level of box seats, and this had a great view. There were 3 rows of seats in each box, however the view from the back row inside the box would be very difficult to see anything. Also standing room available for a cheaper price but would not recommend as each ballet/opera lasts around 3 hrs. Inside the opera house is beautiful and well worth a visit, as well as the gift shop if you didn't fancy a show. Also worth noting - 1. It is VERY hot inside, I nearly fainted inside as it was so warm with the lights inside the box, and this was in December. 2. You cannot take drinks from the bar or in your bag to your seat, so you can end up very dehydrated or in coughing fit as some people did. Water was 5 euro, and soft drinks around 5-6 euro. 3. As you might find, there is not a dress code for Ballet shows, however we found that most people dressed smart-casual, no jeans, however some people did wear suits and formal dresses.Written December 29, 2024
- pattypeted0 contributionsWalking tour of ViennaThe tour was more about history of Vienna, then the sights of Vienna. The tour guide was knowledgeable but spent way too much time in one place talking about the History. We would have liked to see more sights.Written November 15, 2024
- 608vladr0 contributionsA must see!A great place to visit, that is hidden in plain sight! We took a tour that last 45 min (you must book it in advance) and it was a very pleasant surprise. Our tour guide Gabriel, was very friendly and offered us a lot of interesting information as well as being open to questions. The building is amazing and the tour includes the best seats in the house, floor seats as well as the side rooms. A must see!Written August 27, 2024

My wife and I did a wine tour with Mario last fall. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Mario was great. We not only learned a lot about the region’s various wines, which Mario clearly knew everything there was to know about, we also had a really, really fun time. Mario is incredibly engaging and funny. I recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to do something refreshing and non-generic in Vienna.

This tour is really a brilliant idea - combining history and wine! I learned about the fascinating history of Austrian wine, and visited some important landmarks in central Vienna (including a cool, underground cellar-turned-pub with live music). Mario is as knowledgeable as he is friendly, about both history AND wine! He let me guide my wine tasting and curated some great selections, after a lovely sunset walk. I wish more cities had something like this.

My friends and I (we’re from the States) did the wine tour with Mario in Vienna and it was AMAZING! He took us through the gorgeous cobblestoned alleys in the inner city first and told us about the history of the city and then we had the wine tastings which were excellent! Each of the locations felt so authentic and every wine was delicious. Mario knows so much about wine and he even gave us tips on which wines to bring back to the States! I definitely recommend this tour and our guide Mario!
