    A perfect introduction to Vienna
This tour is so great value. We learned a lot about Vienna during the two hour walk with Herbert, who is a great storyteller and guide. We also got many useful tips on nice restaurants, places to visit and things to do in the city. Thanks to the tour, we got so much more out of the rest of our stay!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE GUIDE IS RACIST AND XENOPHOBIC
DO NOT GO ON THIS WALKING TOUR. The guide (I think his name is Herbert) started the tour with a racist xenophobic comment against me and my family in front of my 3 year old daughter. When I asked to cancel the tour and said that I wanted my money back he said he would not give back the money. Absolute and complete disaster.

    Well worth the money
Straightfoward guide with good English and a sweet spot for dark humor. The talk was mostly about history, but explained easily enough to follow.

    Good introduction into Vienna
Herbert was a great tour guide. Since the tour was brief, it was a good introduction into what we might like to see in more depth. I really recommend this tour if you've looked up what to do in Vienna and were also overwhelmed with the long list!

    Informatively Entertaining
The tour was hearty and fun. We’ve been showed around some most important nook of Vienna. History was never missed and a plus of tips and hints which help you plan the rest of your stay in Vienna. Mirko is both a historian and an entertainer, you will be acquainted with the past and at same time amused with his antics and singing. Thanks a lot Mirko, way to go!!!

    Perfect small walking tour
Perfect for travelers who want to explore Vienna on foot and learn its history from a local. Herbert, our guide, tells you about the significance and history of landmarks, sculptures, things to see, and info you can’t always find unless you talk to a local. Small group makes the experience so much more enjoyable!

    Learnt a lot.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and packed a lot into 2 hours. We were a small group which was good. I would have liked a bit more time to take photos and we were also unable to get through to our guide by phone as we were running late. Fortunately we arrived in time but we had a few anxious minutes.

    Fascinating tour of Vienna
A wonderful tour of Vienna in English. Not only did we learn the rich of this wonderful city but we really it was done is a really personalised way. Our guide was very helpful in recommending the best places to visit across the city so I would strongly recommend anybody visiting Vienna to make this tour one of the first things they do.

    Perfect introduction to Vienna
We went with Orsolya Illes, and she did a very good job. She introduced us to Vienna, told some good stories, and she took care of everybody in the group. The day after we revisited the most interesting sights. Konny and Peter Christiansen, Vejle Denmark

    Great tour!
Very interesting tour and information about the history of Vienna/Austria! Our tourguide knew a lot and explained everything very well. We were lucky to have a "private" tour!

We had a tour with Herbert this morning. He was very knowledgeable about Hapsburg history and very patient and pleasant. I recommend this small group tour if you are new to Vienna and need a good start.

We truly enjoyed our 2-1/2 hour walking tour today with Herbert and his dry sense of humor. We had already been in Vienna for 3 days and he showed us spots we had walked by many times and missed! I really liked the historical photos and maps he showed us on his tablet.

We met our guide Herbert in St. Stephen’s Square and from the first few moments we began to learn about the history of Vienna. He had many images that were really helpful in imagining how old Vienna looked. I won’t tell you about what we saw as that will ruin the tour. We did learn about several things that we had walked by several times and had no idea of the significance. We learned about history, traditional foods, Mozart and WWII. We had lots of questions and all were answered along the way. We also stopped for a minute to say hi to the President of Austria as he passed by. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the less touristy spots in central Vienna.

Really excellent tour. Guide is really knowledgeable. Pointed out stuff that we would have walked past without noticing. Avoided the crowded parts. Walk is suitable for most ages, but less interesting for younger children, not too many steps and not too long a walk. What we really appreciated was that although only two of us were on the tour, it didn't get cancelled.

Dear Guests, Thank you for your review! For the tour you booked my philosophy is to show my guests locations regular tourists will never find. I feel unfair that tours get cancelled because of low bookings. Its not the clients fault! Best regards Herbert

Fredianio took myself & my cousin all around ‘back street Vienna’. He had a lot of knowledge of architectural styles and era’s. We got on famously as we had a shared interest. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience
