A little hick-up on the day, diligently and swiftly sorted out by Bonita from Insightcities, with a small re-scheduling of start time. Katarina, our super knowledgeable, specialised, local guide gave us a fact- and fun- filled generous 2 1/2 hours at this stunning venue. As an extra treat, 'Judith' by Gustav Klimt was actually in the house ! ( This painting is on tour a lot ) This experience is a magnificent treat for all art and history lovers.

Can’t say enough great things about our Art Nouveau tour with Ilse. Her knowledge of the topic as well as her ability to put art nouveau in Vienna in the context of the political and architectural development of the time and the city was extremely informative and interesting. She also went above and beyond to show and share so many examples and interesting facts. Absolutely LOVED this tour! Katarina was absolutely one of the best your guides we have ever had. She met us at our hotel and we decided to walk to the Belvedere and gave us a fantastic history lesson along the way. Her knowledge is extensive and it was also demonstrated as we toured the museum and artwork. Of course Klimt’s The Kiss was a highlight, but there is so much to see. Knowledgeable also of world affairs. She was calm while being challenged by a person in the public domain. She did not let the rude interruption derail the rest of our tour.
