Overview
Get unobstructed views of Vienna's top sights from the deck on this Danube boat cruise. Snap photos of Badeschiff Vienna, the Rossauer Barracks, the Zaha Hadid House, and other highlights. You’ll hear commentary about the history and culture of each landmark, providing information you might not learn on your own. Choose a seat outside, or opt for the comfortable indoor salon if you need a break from the sun.
What to Expect
Arrive at Shipstation City port ready to relax and take in the sights on your 75-minute cruise. Having booked in advance, you're guaranteed a spot on this Danube River cruise, which is very popular during the height of summer. Find a spot on the outdoor deck or in the plush indoor salon as the boat takes off.

This comprehensive tour of the landmarks on the banks of the Danube includes the benefit of insightful commentary from an onboard guide. Learn about Vienna's rich history, culture, and architecture while you travel. Unobstructed views make for great photos, including the colorful Spittelau waste plant designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the Zaha Hadid-House, Otto Wagner’s Schützenhaus, and the floating swimming pool on a ship called Badeschiff Vienna.

Return to Shipstation City after 75 minutes, refreshed and ready to continue exploring the city.

You’d better board a tram

Sad to say, this cruise is a pure tourist trap. We chose an evening tour at 4 pm in a hope of seeing nicely lit Vienna by night. Nothing of that. The city is completely dark; the fact Danube canal goes in a deep concrete...More

Not worth the money

Sad to say that along with the other reviews we cannot recommend this cruise. There is nothing of real interest to see although I think the incineration plant was good to see because of its design and decoration. You travel for about 50 minutes along...More

It's still the Danube even if it is a canal!

We went in winter when the river tours are not available, so opted to do the canal cruise as another way to experience Vienna. It was part of the Vienna Pass, so you are meant to collect a ticket for the cruise from the office...More

AVOID

Nothing to see worth mentioning. Have the owners ever been on another city cruise to appreciate how bad this is? Feel like I’ve been robbed - would like my money back.

I have to agree that we found this tour boring and regretted the time wasted when we could have been visiting a real tourist attraction. Staff on river trip were great.
