What to expect
Your Vienna sightseeing combo includes the following features. Simply pick up your vouchers at the Schonbrunn Palace Orangery, and then begin your Sisi experience! (Please note: You do not have to do everything in one day; the dinner and concert take place on the day you select when booking, but your vouchers for the palaces, museums and collections are valid for one year after that date.) Schonbrunn Palace Explore the former summer residence of the Habsburgs, where the athletic Empress Elisabeth spent much time riding horses and enjoying other summertime activities. With the self-guided audio tour, visit some of the palace’s rooms, including Emperor Francis Joseph’s bedroom and Sisi’s grooming room. Hofburg Palace Another former home of the Habsburg dynasty, Hofburg Palace (also known as Vienna Imperial Palace) dates back to the 13th century and is today the seat of the Austrian president. It houses the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Silver Collection, all of which you can visit. Admire the ceremonial rooms and residential apartments used by Francis Joseph and Sisi, and discover what life was like at the Vienna Court. At the Sisi Museum, browse the many exhibits to learn about Sisi’s intriguing life, including her rebellious side and her devotion to her beauty. Then at the Imperial Silver Collection, be wowed by the impressive array of silver dinnerware that belonged to the imperial family. Imperial Furniture Collection Gain insight into how Sisi and the rest of the Habsburgs lived by taking a peek at some of their extravagant furniture. This is one of the world’s largest furniture collections, and it doesn’t disappoint with more than 150,000 pieces from a cradle to a throne. In particular, seek out the exhibition dedicated to the furniture used in movies about or featuring Sisi. Dinner at Café-Restaurant Residenz At 6:30pm, your three-course dinner will be served in this elegant restaurant adjacent to Schonbrunn Palace. Your menu may include dishes like Austrian-style beef soup, pork medallions with prosciutto and polenta, and cake. Concert at the Schonbrunn Palace Orangery The grand finale to your royal Sisi adventure is a concert by the Schonbrunn Palace Orchestra. From your seat, enjoy music by classical composers like Mozart and Strauss. Doors open at 8pm and the concert begins at 8:30pm. At intermission, toast your Vienna experience with an included glass of sparkling wine, and then enjoy the rest of the performance, which ends at 10:15pm.

Dinner not what I expected
Sep 2019
I booked the combo package and noticed later the palace tours close at 5:30pm so had an hour and half lag time after my 4pm tour with dinner at 6:30pm. The dinner was in the palace however in the newer annexed section and resembled a lunch room. You get soup, entree and dessert. All were marginal and there were no choices. I asked for tap ice water since the water comes directly from the alps in
Vienna and is excellent for drinking. The answer on the water was no. I was told I much purchase bottled water for 6.8 euros. I don't think so. I'd already ordered drinks and didn't want to spend more on water. It's a racket. Most places in Vienna will provide tap water when asked. Anyway, the orchestra show was quite good, but the room was too hot. The tour was okay, but rushed and many people at once. I'd suggest to anyone to have dinner at another restaurant prior to going to the show. For about 30 euros a piece it's not worth it.

Dear Travel465644, thank you for your feedback about our package "An Evening at Schoenbrunn: Palace Visit, Dinner & Concert"! We feel very sorry that the experience could not fully meet your expectations. Please let us address some of the issues you mentioned: First of all, in all our advertising materials and our website we state, that you will be served a fixed 3 course meal. You can however in advance opt for a vegetarian or fish alternative. So it should be clear that in the restaurant you cannot choose a meal. Concerning your incident with the tap water: we talked to our restaurant partner about that and they want to apologize for acting wrong in this situation. All the personnel of that evening is now informed that free tap water can be served if other drinks are consumed. We can guarantee you that normally the service at our restaurant partner is excellent. That is why we have been working with them for a very long time. We are happy that you enjoyed the peformance of our orchestra. We can promise you that we do everything possible to keep the temperature in our concert venue at a good level but on very hot summer days our options are limited. As the Orangery Schoenbrunn is heritage protected it only has ventilation system which we use intensively in combination with other measures (closing the window shades etc.). Moreover, if you visit the Schoenbrunn Palace in the high season in and around summer or public holidays you must be aware that it will be crowded. The Palace is a very popular attraction and therefore many visitors to Vienna will take a tour there. Best greetings from Vienna!
