In the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, listen as your guide points out historic landmarks, such as the medieval Durnstein Castle and riverside towns, like the wine village of Krems. Board a boat in Spitz for a Danube River cruise, taking in dramatic views while gliding downstream to Melk (in summer only). Between November and April, the boat cruise is replaced by a meal in a local restaurant. Then, arrive in Melk for a visit to the Benedictine Melk Abbey (if option selected), which overlooks the river. OK service but skip the Night Time Tour.....it's not at night.
The internet works on some of the busses but not all, it's about 60%. If you buy the ticket in advance, it's a royal pain because you need to find a yellow shirt associate to convert that into an actual usable ticket. The QR code you get doing the online purchase is not your ticket. In our case it took us 2 stops and 4 associates to be able to get the QR code converted. Wasted time. But the real disappointment is the Night Time tour. It starts at 7pm. It runs 1 hour. Sunset today is 849pm. Yep, not night time. And the green line is every hour, too long between busses.

      Not as advertised.
The trip was advertised as having an English guide but English wasn't spoken by the majority of the crew. We were not made aware of the protocol for the evening in terms of the running order as they only spoke in German. We saw people helping themselves to the buffet but wondered if this was due to tables being called up one at a time. The food on the menu was also in German so we had no idea what the food was. This is not helpful if you are vegetarian or have a food intolerance. There was traditional Viennese music and the two piece act were (it seemed) taking requests from each table. However, when the accordinist made his way to our table, the vocalist shook his head and steered him away. We were very offended by this. The trip was not suitable for English and should not be advertised as such. We are looking for a refund if possible.

Too much free time, not enough photo ops
The tour guide Ava and bus driver Alex were fantastic. Alex safely navigated some narrow streets and sharp turns in Budapest. Ava was informative and knowledgeable. Couple of things I wish could be different: 1) provide free bottle waters for the long drive and just charge the cost in the tour fare instead of asking us for 1.5 euro for water; no one will mind the tour fare being couple bucks higher, but people do mind when there is no free water provided for such long drive; 2) make some stops in Budapest when passing by scenic areas so that we could step out of the bus to take photos. We were given 3 hours free time, but we were not able to hit most of the landmarks during the free time by walking, so we ended up missing some beautiful photo ops and I felt very disappointed.

Disappointed the cruise did not go in the canals as was suggested. The three course meal was poor, strange cold soup, 3 meats , two cakes. No commentary of any sort. Hungarian music very much of a muchness. Would not recommend, time better spent in the pedestrian centre of vienna Staff were very attentive and friendly but could not make up for the rest

      Good tour!
I will start off by saying that the bus ride was simple to find, comfortable and quick. Our walking tour guide was fantastic. I'm so sorry I forget his name (perhaps Dima?) He was engaging and gave some amazing information as well as answered everyone's questions. I will agree with everyone else that the remaining allotted time was too much. We were done everything we wanted to see by about 4pm. Unfortunately, due to flooding and the Danube water level being so dangerous we had to return to Vienna by boat. Nothing the tour could have done about this.

      Pretty picturesque place but…
It’s a very beautiful little town stunning scenery and architecture but there’s nothing to do other than wander around and see the waterfall. If you go get there early, we arrived 9.30am and it was reasonably quiet in early June but by 11.30am it was filling up quickly mainly with hoards of Japanese tourists. It’s also a tourist rip off place parking’s extortionate as are the restaurants and cafes, €12 for a pancake 🙄 really! Take note! all the businesses only take cash and the Atm’s charge a shocking fee to withdraw cash, and I didn’t see a mention of a charge before hand. I was charged €6.50 for withdrawing €50. If I had the choice again I wouldn’t bother going.

Great hop on hop off bus tour
Great hop on hop off bus tour of Vienna. As we arrived late into the city, we were given a reduced rate. We completed the blue tour which gave us a thorough tour of the main sites of Vienna. The commentary was excellent.

Beautiful place but overcrowded and unwelcomed.
Pro : Amazing view, lovely little place and beautiful lake. Cons: too crowded. Cannot even take any picture with so many people. Restaurants options are not many and all full. Locals are not friendly and wish no one would visit the place if possible (too noisy for them). I would recommend you visit other more accommodating places. Tourists are not welcome in Hallstatt by locals

      Nice tour
We had an amazing time in Budapest. Our tour guides Claudia and one from Budapest were both amazing. Just felt that tickets are on a lil higher end also it didn’t include any entrance fee or lunch/ snack in the tour.

      Not worthy
Tour started late . Guide didn’t know what the schedule of the day. Not enough information. Due to road accident it took almost 6 hours to come back to Vienna. I would really appreciated if they could offer free water to passengers.

A fun addition to the traditional tour
A fun addition to the traditional tour. Focuses on the Habsburgs' family tree, with lots and lots of names, births, deaths, and marriages. It really could go more in depth and be done on a more personal level, it covers Sisi well but the rest of the monarchy is just brushed over. The VR sets are heavy though so for that 24 minutes of screen time is more than enough. In summary, it is fun, it is different, but it needs more meat.

Worth it if you love palaces.
The organization was great, on time and as noted. Our guide (Stephen) and driver were wonderful. Lots of good information with fun thrown in. The palace itself was underwhelming in a long slog room to room. If you love palaces and castles then go, if not skip it. Wish I had.

      Beautiful!
The day trip to Hallstatt was amazing! The boat ride was conveniently arranged. There was also plenty of time to see the place on your own. What a lovely picturesque town!

We were lucky: the weather was perfect - cool and sunny. Our guide was excellent. I enjoyed the stops we made along the way to the Abbey: Durnstein, St. Michael, and Kress. Very picturesque towns; gives you an idea of life in these towns along the Danube River bank. We had to wait for our turn to tour the interior of the Abbey. Photo taking was not allowed inside the Abbey.

    Lovely day,

The guide at the Abbey was excellent, knowledgeable and engaging. The Abbey itself was fascinating. The exhibits were well laid out and of especial interest were the installations explaining the restoration. The tour guide was professional and shifted very easily among three languages— making sure her information was understood by all. While the day was a scorcher - the boat trip up the Danube was pleasant and scenic. We took the advice of previous travelers and ate on the boat before getting to the abbey— great advice!

The provider ancelled at last minute . Got an email at 649 am that said it was cancelled. No reason no alternative. We went around Vienna city on the bus and tram and it crowded. A refund was supposed to be processed but it has been over 48 hrs and no refund.

We only had a few days in Vienna. We selected this tour so that we could see some of the Austrian countryside - not just the city. We were not disappointed. The scenery was beautiful. The river cruise was very relaxing. Our tour guide was very nice.
The tour of the abbey was a little brief. At the end, the guide said that we could go back and revisit any of the rooms that we wanted to explore further. I wish that she would have mentioned that at the beginning.

Amazing experience, recommend to everyone who has a free whole day in Vienna, as it takes up to 8-9 hours: including bus trip to Mid-ages old town and Danube cruise for 1-2 hours with audio guide. Melk Abbey is a jewel of this trip. Breathtaking views, cute gardens and guest houses. Church and library, architecture and interior design are also beautiful 🤩 and rich. It worth your time, as you learn the history and culture of Austria.

Was a good overall bus tour. Easy check in at meeting point. Was a large bus and ours was nearly full. First stop at a small town which was classic Austrian and they happened to have a traditional band playing in the town square for some type of local celebration; that was pretty cool. Next we boarded a boat for about an hour cruise on the Danube to get near Melk. The cruise itself was very nice and you could sit inside with full food and beverage service or on the outside upper deck. Along the cruise there were a few old castle remains to view and hilly countryside. Very relaxing cruise. Finally, we got back on the bus for the short ride to Melk Abbey. Had opportunity for lunch before heading in and nice local restaurant, reasonably priced, was just outside the entrance. After lunch we received a guided tour of the Abbey, which was quite informative. Beautiful Abbey building with interesting history. Afterwards the long ride back to Vienna. From start to finish was right at 9 hours.
Overall very nice tour and worth the money.

Extremely well organised trip. Our guide was absolutely top drawer with an unbelievable wealth of knowledge. The trip was done at a leisurely pace and ran seamlessly. The coach was comfortable as was the boat. The Melk Abbey is at least as ornate and stunningly beautiful as the Sistine chapel, which is the highest compliment I can pay it. Altogether, a great day trip, an excellent way to learn some of the rich history of Vienna and extremely good value for money

A delightful day trip from Vienna. The tour was well organised, and the guide spoke in two languages—English and Spanish—simultaneously throughout the tour. The boat trip took just over an hour from Dürnstein to Melk. There are options to have lunch on the boat or in the town of Melk. The guided tour of Melk Abbey was okay, although I felt it was too brief. Overall, my tour experience was positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to spend a day outside Vienna.

Very well organized - started at 9, stopped at dunnstein, got on a boat, cruised to Melk, got a tour of the Abby after about 1.5 hours of free time to check out the town and garden. The burata salad on the boat was surprising good even if the service was very slow. Apricot ice cream in Melk was yummy. We got back just before 6. They delivered what they promised and it was a good experience.
    Thank you team!
