I only had one full day in Salzburg and I had to make sure I saw Mozart performed in his birth city. I had an absolutely wonderful time, what an amazing location, and the musicians were having an amazing time and the energy was contagious.

Dinner was lovely and the views were spectacular. The.concert was outstanding and something we would not have found on our own. I wish we would have had more time to explore the fortress, but overall this was a wonderful excursion.

This is a very worthwhile excursion with full value-for-money. Th meeting point is easy to find (we took an Uber) an the short boat tour was well-guided and interesting. The45-secondfunicular rid.e to the summit provides lots of photo opps. WEe were greeted warmly and showe to our seats for dinner. The menu was varied and the food was very good. Any drinks are at an additional cost, but the waiter service was first-rate. The Mozart concert is in a separate hall, nd th musicians were at th top o their art. You probably won't know ALL of the tunes they play, but you'll certainly know SOME of them. THe audience was knowledgeable and appreciativeand you get a complimntary glass ofsparklingwine. Meal very average, service a bit haphazard on the eve we were there. Beautiful fort, atmospheric setting for quartet and music fabulously performed . Next time we would not book meal.. arrive early to explore fort and enjoy concert.

Stunning atmosphere and great repertoire of classical music performed by highly professional musicians. Stuff was very pleasant and helpful! Definitely, a night to remember that evoked deepest emotions by listening Csàrdàs by Monti and Vivaldi’s seasons, accompanied by inevitable Mozart’ music.

We were seated outside on the terrace overlooking Salzburg, which provided us with a beautiful view of the city and mountains from under a shady tree. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We had the classic menu but there was a vegetarian option. The concert was fantastic - in one of the rooms of the fortress, the atmosphere was perfect. It was very warm in the room due to the weather, however this was the only issue we had. The repertoire was a nice selection of well known pieces by Mozart and others.

Amazing dinner and incredible view from atop the fortress. The day was fantastic and the music capped off a memorable evening.

This was a great experience for us and probably the best "thing to do in Salzburg. Good food with a breathtaking views from the fortress. Service was excellent and the souffle was the best we both have ever had. The Mozart concert was wonderful, especially a solo violin performance of Monti's Czardas. We can honestly highly recommend Mozart Concert and VIP Dinner with River Cruise in Salzburg.

Great experience. Fine musicians, nice music by Mozart and others. Inspiring surroundings in the old castle. And a little extra fun to take the cable car up the mountain. Also: when we sat and listened there was a thunderstorm outside, it created a fantastic atmosphere. Be sure to get up to the castle so early so you can stroll around and maybe take a glass before the concert!

The VIP dinner was nice and the restaurant had beautiful views. However what made it 5 star for me was the concert. To hear Mozart, in the city of his birth in a beautiful music room in a fortress was truly magical. I would highly recommend.

This was a wonderful evening. We purchased the VIP package. We were disappointed we were not seated outside. They didn't use the outdoor seating because of the potential for rain. Our table was next to a window with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a very nice relaxing meal. We saw the sunset before the concert. The concert was a treat. It was a very special setting. The musicians were quite talented.

This experience was awesome, would definitely do it again! The VIP dinner package was well worth it for our group of 6, and the concert was excellent. We attedned the Best of Mozart Concert at Fortress Hohensalzburg on the evening Monday, August 5. The program did not list the song that was performed during the 'Encore' and I am hoping someone can share what the song title / composer was for this song?

I mean a fantastic dinner in the fortress with a view of Salzburg countryside. With every penny. Plus a concert in the fortress music Hall. Absolutely gorgeous. Even our thirteen year old daughter loved it. Though she found her amazing looking pasta a little too fancy, so they quickly, graciously whipped her up some simple pasta.

Worthwhile experience to get a cruise, great dinner, and phenomenal classical concert in what can be described as the most amazing venue in Austria.

This was a wonderful experience. They provide drinks. The music was amazing. Te fortress has the best views of the city. It’s worth coming earlier and visiting the fortress museums and sites.
