Took us through the different sites where the movie was filmed and gave us some history of Salzburg. The sing alongs were fun. The stops were well planned and deconflicted with the other tour buses. The tour did not stop in the hills to let you get the best “hills are alive” videos.

Brigitte was a great tour guide, very entertaining and cheerful. Her knowledge on the makings of the movie TSOM brought back memories of places and locations in Salzburg, while giving us a bit of history of the city. Thank you!

This company has integrity! My wife fell and broke her wrist the morning that we were scheduled to do the basic SOM tour. I called them to cancel an hour before the tour and they immediately said that our pre-payment would be refunded, no question asked. Very nice people!

The history of this place, is disturbing and should never be forgotten.....but the views are just breathtaking.....the document centre and tunnels is a must as well...thoroughly recommend it. Ps, if you have access to a car do the visit by yourself, rather than going through a tour. It's cheaper. We found it easily, just put the address in your Sat Nav. And the car park is a little further up the road.

Our guide Kaeden was charming and provided lots of information. I loved singing along with the soundtrack of the movie. He was delightful. The weather was dreadful with incessant rain. Our driver Dragon, was an excellent driver. There are only a few places from the movie that you visit.

The driver/guide David was great in every respect. Very knowledgeable and caring. No hurry and good route. His singing was better than ours!!!!!

This was so excellent! Simon was a GREAT tour guide-so funny and informative! Really engaged the whole bus ride- long day but worth it to see ALL the sights- great way to see ALL of Salzburg while hitting so many of The Sound of Music film locations- would highly recommend!

The Sound of Music was the main reason I wanted to go to Salzburg, so this was one of the highlights of our trip. Brigit, our host was super enthusiastic, friendly and made the trip really enjoyable. We visited all the accessible sights plus we got to see some beautiful scenic views and ideas for more outings along the way. Highly recommended for any SoM fans! However I would recommend booking directly with Panorama and not with the partner Headout who we unintentionally used and who's customer service was not a good experience.

Wonderful day with a warm friendly tour guide Kaygen? and a skilled bus driver “Dragon”. It was pouring with rain but the trip was still very memorable. You get immersed in the movie and it is a must fit anyone who loves the movie

The hills are alive. Do this trip it’s brilliant ! The guide knew everything and his humour was spot on. The double act between him and the driver was memorable. “Driver have you anything to say?” Driver’s reply “No!” (Every time 🤣).

This was a rip off, such a waste of money. We didn’t actually get to see any of the main sights from the movie. They didn’t even take us to the Abbey! We drove past the house, didn’t get to stop; drove past the Abbey, didn’t get to stop; and didn’t even get to go to a field in the mountains to twirl like Julie. Do not recommend.

This was a fun tour with interesting insights into the movie and the sites. It was fun to visit the places where movie scenes were shot. I have one complaint and one suggestion for future tours. First the complaint. It was listed as a singing tour but we sang only two songs. I thought we would sing more on the bus ride or at the sites. My suggestion is to provide some type of listening device for large groups. It was raining and hard to hear the guide when we got out at stops. The background noise of the rain combined with the distance due to umbrellas meant that we missed some of the information about certain sites.

An amazing experience. Our tour guide, Brigette was fabulous! So informative and so entertaining! A memory we will hold on to forever. Thank you.

The trip was conducted by Panorama The tour was well organised with an English speaking guide who provided a comprehensive level of information. The view at the Eagles Nest on the day we went was stunning with excellent visibility which is essential for those thinking of visiting. This was a half day tour and I felt there was a lot of pressure exerted to keep to time. There was limited time at the top to take in both the views and visit the restaurant at the top. I was also a little disappointed the trip did not go to the Information Centre in order to provide more information about Hitlers arrangements at the Eagles Nest and wider Obersalzburg area. Finally, the hour stop in Berchestaden provided a useful respite for lunch but not enough time to see the town. I feel for the cost of the trip this should have been a full day excursion hence 4 stars not 5.

This is a tour for enthusiasts of the beloved classic movie. It was well worth the 4 hours spent, to be able to visit familiar filming locations. Instructions were very clear from the start. It was easy to spot the coach as you walk to the meeting point. Once you get on the bus, Brigitte the tour guide completely takes over and with her winning personality, takes you through the history of the movie as well as the real life story behind the Von Trapp family. She also shared some movie trivia with us and sang along to the songs played on the bus, encouraging us to join her. I also give credit to the driver (whose name escapes me). With his competent driving, he got us everywhere safely. Well done, Panorama Tours!
