Beyond Extectations
Our tour guide, Eric was wonderful and went the extra-mile to ensure we had a good time. We felt the private tour was more intimate the the large tour and was worth the extra money. The guide was very knowledgeable and arrived early to make sure we got our money’s worth.

Sound of Music tour… Fantastic tour, Super Sunny Day, Great guide,

Some years ago, my wife and I did a Sound of Music tour, it was Magical and we promised to return one day to repeat, sadly my wife passed away before we managed to return.

This year I took my Daughter to see the lovely City of Saltzburg at Christmas and to re visit our Sound of Music tour in memory.

Speaking to the lovely people at Panorama about what I wanted and why, they were extremely helpful so I had no hesitation booking with them

We were picked up at 9.30am on a bitterly cold morning (Minus -11*) by what turned out to be a super guide, he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and he found us some of the best spots to take numerous pictures… the sun shone all day making the crisp white snow glisten, adding to the charm of the tour.

I have no hesitation in recommending Panorama tours and if they are all as good as ours then no one should be disappointed.

Sound of Music for 3 generations
Our guide was great and very informative. Half of our group didn’t know Sound of Music very well but he made it interesting for them as well. We saw a lot of the beautiful county side, learned a lot about Salzburg and surrounding areas, and enjoyed seeing the sound of music sites. Highly recommended.

Fantastic & personal Sound of Music tour - not to be missed!

Our Sound of Music personal tour with Alenka was one of the highlights of our trip to Austria and is not to. be missed. Her knowledge of the Sound of Music movie, filming locations, the actual von Trapp family, and the history of the city itself was superb. In addition, she customized the trip for us, giving options to which sites to visit and the amount of time we spent at each location, and recommended great cafes and places to visit. Overall great experience and highly recommended!

Family Tour with Leo at Panorama
Our family of two adults and four children had the absolute privilege of experiencing our private tour with Leo. He was warm and welcoming to our whole family from the very first minute we met him. He brilliantly provided the historical context and cultural insights into both the family’s story and that of the film’s production…all while making it fun for our kids. He has a palpable passion for his work that is truly inspiring. WHEN we return to Salzburg, we will certainly find Leo for another tour .

Our group (2 moms, 4 grown daughters) had a private half-day Sound of Music tour with Leopold. It was so much fun and Leopold was fantastic. He was so eager to please & shared so much behind-the-scenes information. Leopold also drove our group two other days. He picked us up in Prague, stopping for lunch and a tour at Cesky Krumlov on our way to Salzburg. He also drove us from Salzburg to Vienna with a wonderful tour of the Wachau/Danube River Valley, Melk Abbey, lunch, a short boat ride on the Danube and a wine tasting at a charming local winery. Leopold was just so fun for our group, and he worked very hard to make sure all of our travel wishes came true!

Our tour guide Leopold was the greatest. He made the whole experience so exciting and fun. We were never bored. Our tour guide was very accommodating in helping me in and out of the van since I have a physical Disability.

We got to hear the true story behind the Von-Trapp Family which really makes you appreciate the movie in a whole new way.

We not only got to see locations from the movie we also got to see Salsburg's beautiful landscape and take fantastic pictures while also learning fascinating facts about Salzburg and its History. As well as giving us The opportunity as tourists to see parts of Salzburg We would never get to see otherwise.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the true beauty of Salzburg,...

The best bike tour for Sound of Music fans!
Amazing tour! We had such a great time with Mitch as our guide on ebikes. He was so charming, kind and knowledgeable , not only about The Sound of Music sites and history, but also the sites and history of this incredible city of Salzburg. I came away learning and seeing so much. My heart and eyes were completely full afterward. We are a family of 5 with 3 teens and found the ebikes easy to use and the city amazingly easy to navigate. So many great bike paths, we are in love with this place! Thank you Mitch and thank you Panorama tours for providing such an unforgettable experience for me and my family.

Fantastic Experience!
Having been on the large bus tour several years ago, without question the private tour is so much more informative and enjoyable. Leopold was a phenomenal guide. So much information about the movie, the cast, and the actual von Trapp family. It is worth the extra money you pay for a private tour instead of the large group bus tour.

Anelka was our tour guide she was great fun so informative my husband was dreading it but ended up loving it. When we got home first thing he did was watch the Sound of Music film. Can’t wait to come back to aSalzburg next summer and do more tours with you.
