- benhT3078AX0 contributionsIncompetence on wheels - a taxi firm unable to arrive on timeDo not trust the wait times given by operators over the phone. Every time we have used this taxi firm there has been an excessive wait: - 1 hour at 4am in the morning outside the casino - 30 minutes at midday outside the train station - 45 minutes at 2pm in the afternoon outside the Casino. After we finally got a taxi, there was a small traffic delay and the driver asked us if we wanted to get out and walk! They apparently have 120 cars in their fleet. Covering an area of less than 1 sq mile there is absolutely no way they had this many vehicles operating. If they want to continue their monopoly then they need to get more cars on the road and invest in an app or tracking system to provide customers with realistic wait times. This is not the service you come to expect in Monte Carlo. My suggestion would be to bypass Monaco Taxis completely. Walk 5 minutes from Casino Square to Avenue Camille Blanc and book an Uber or Bolt. They arrive in a fraction of the time and will cost a fraction of the price!Written September 9, 2024

At 4 am you wait an hour for a taxi, all 30 are busy, nonsense!! In the 21st century you need to allow Uber and Bolt or have more taxis available!
