We visited the park today and had an amazing time- 2 adults, 2 children (8 and 11).
We caught the bus to the waterpark and arrived just before 10am. We had booked tickets online as you can save 10%. The queue to get checked in was well organised and moved along quickly. We each received a wristband which has a barcode which works as a cashless system. You scan it at the tills when purchasing food and drinks and then you settle the bill at the end of the day on exit. We had also purchased some vouchers online to provide a discount on the food too which helped to reduce the final amount. We'd bought €40 worth. We should have gone for €80 at least. It's a shame you can't take your own food and drink in but I can see how this is a good earner for the park.Â
The lifeguards we all very friendly and good at controlling the queues and spotting those that pushed in, which sadly happened a lot.Â
The slides at the top of the park became very busy from around 2pm so do those early or closer to the end of the day.Â
The queue for the kids volcano and wet bubble took absolutely ages so head straight there and get that out of the way or give it a miss altogether. My kids enjoyed the wet bubble but I'm not sure it's worth the wait.Â
There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Most of the queues are under shade. Lockers are €5 with a refundable deposit of €10.Â
We were hungry by midday and the queue for the burgers and hotdogs at that time moved quickly.Â
There are also plenty of single and double tubes to go around.

14 of us shared a taxi from the King Jason hotel ten minutes away (€3 per person each way). Booked tickets on their website the night before (€31 each less 10% online discount) and all averaged at least €10 each on food and drink plus €5 locker fee. Approx €50 per person for 5hrs. Value for money??
However, the park was clean and tidy. Plenty of sunbeds in various locations. Lots of lifeguards at all pools and slides. Water quality was visually superb. Site appeared well maintained, all flumes were open and were good fun. Got there at opening time (10am) and got on most flumes with minimal queues, by 11 ish the queues had lengthened considerably. Food and drink overpriced but no more than any other tourist trap. Gift shop oddly reasonable!! We all enjoyed the park but feel the adverts and website over hype it a tad. Probably would return if ever this way again though.

We visited Aphrodite Waterpark today (01/08/22) and we had a lovely time!
The lifeguards and slide guards are super on it and really helpful! The variety of slides is good! We visited as a couple but I felt that we would definitely return if we ever had kids and holidayed in Paphos again - lots for families.
It was a bit busy but lines were moving fairly quickly and the queues for the bigger slides are all under cover.
I would definitely recommend getting pool shoes. In the morning the floor was fine, but as the day went on certain areas became very hot to walk on.
I’d also recommend booking online for the discount and purchasing the consumption vouchers for discounted food, drinks and souvenirs. You get given vouchers and a barcodes wristband on entrance. Every purchase made is scanned onto the wristband and then you pay on the way out. If you have vouchers, you use these instead of cash!
We ate at the Asian restaurant and the food was good. I had the Terriyaki chicken with noodles which was €11.50 and my husband has the sweet and sour chicken with chips at €10.50. The prices weren’t too bad and the portions were huge! Drinks wise we bought some cans of Coke (€3.20 each) and slushies (€4.50) each.
I would definitely return again. Perhaps not during the height of the summer holidays when it is busy.

Online states a saving if you book in advance, when we arrived the entry cost was exactly the same as the online price. I guess just a cost saving ploy for the company? Upon entry huge queue for lockers followed by tight squeeze in the locker room with everyone trying to access theirs. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from as well as quieter areas away from the family section. You aren't allowed to carry any cash, they give you a wristband QR code that is scanned every time you make a purchase, this approach does save time instead of back and forth to the locker except you have to settle up before you leave and that queue took 50mins! I have never queued to leave an attraction before. The queue to leave is ironic given how aggressive the lifeguards are when it's time to kick you out of the water. The park closes at 6pm but what that means is they usher you out of the water and won't let you go on the slides approx 5:20/5:30pm. Their reason being that they need to close the park in a timely manner....but then put you in a 50 min queue to pay and leave? Seems odd. Anyway, there is a good selection of slides but good lucking finding the correct queue. Too many people up on the queuing platform, signage not great and queue lines definitely not clear. Good selection of food and the food was pretty good. Lastly, and what really spoilt the day was Murphy the lifeguard who was managing the wave pool and two slides into the wave pool. I witnessed him aggressively close the slide queue, only to then let a young couple cross the rope and ride again?? He then told my kids they couldnt ride, that they were too young (despite having adult wristbands) and then changed his mind and said it was because the slide was closing at 5:15pm? He then told my kids to go to reception to ask if they could ride?! My kids did, the receptionist said yes, we told Murphy and he said no, we needed to bring a member of staff in person to confirm! What a shambles! As 5:30 approached he then used a mega phone to yell at people in the lazy river to get out (these people did not speak English so possibly didn't understand him) so he then shouted oh f*** it, do what you want!! So unprofessional and really ruined the tone of the day! I have a property in Cyprus that we visit regularly and also send our guests to the waterpark, I won't be doing that anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to review us.
We have noticed that there are few inconsistencies on your review.
Online booking has ALWAYS 10% discount, which clearly make you feedback suspicious, as you can check this anytime.
Your children approach the slide for the second time, after being refused to use the slide the first time, due to the fact that they had child wristbands.
Murphy suggested, you should change wristbands at the entrance, which obviously you didn't, but what happened is that they try to hide their CHILD wristband behind their back after trying again to do the slide.
Being not able to cheat our lifeguard, you became aggressive and you demanded to let your kids do the slide with the excuse that the entrance doesn't have any adult wristbands left, which is another lie.
Murphy very politely explained that to overcome Health & Safety rules, a supervisor must attend to give permission, something you didn't accept.
If your kids need to try our adult slides, have to be more than 12 years old. This rules are strictly being followed by our staff and we make no exceptions where it comes to our visitors' safety.
For us Health & Safety are very important, in contrary to you, which you wanted your kids to do slides that are not suitable for them.
Now about Murphy. He is one of the best professionals in this field and one of the most polite person you can meet.
Our Feedback from our visitors is exceptional and we NEVER had any complaint regarding his behaviour.
That's something to be sceptical for.
Anyway, your review is full of inconsistencies and you know it.
Thank you for 2-star rating, as people will read our response and find out our waterpark is taking Health & Safety seriously :)

Not good, not bad but average.
Been to a number of waterparks around the world and this doesn’t rank anywhere near the top. Admission fee is expensive in comparison to others and the food and drink inside is extortionate as mentioned in many reviews - quality isn’t bad but again, average.
We went on a Thursday and the park was not too busy, the longest queue was around 15 mins and we went on everything. Plenty of sun beds available in all areas and queuing at the food stations were small so no complaints here at all.
The slides themselves are fun and you will enjoy yourself but do not expect the slides to wow you because they won’t. The wave pool was beyond disappointing and just a waste of time so I would avoid this. Cannon was our favourite and we went on this multiple times. The park is very small and the rides are clustered in groups which makes getting around really easy although the floor is extremely hot after a couple of hours and the pathways they put down do not help as they are coarse and hurt your feet. You can take flip flops and hold these as you go down the rides if you feet get too sore.
The staff on the rides were all pleasant and helpful but the staff in the offices and food stations were very miserable.
I am surprised at the high ratings for the park but If this is the only waterpark you have visited, you may score it highly as you’ll have fun but it does not compare to any other waterparks I have been to.
Overall? Just an average experience. If you enjoy waterparks I would recommend going but do not expect to be blown away.

We booked online and booked a bus transfer. Due to the high temperature and humidity in August, we definitely made the right choice. The transfer was smooth and we were given our wristbands before getting on the bus. The bus driver and rep from the water park were lovely and friendly.
The park operates a cashless system for when you are going around the park. Everything is charged to your wristband and you settle your account upon exiting. The park is quite expensive for food, snacks, and drinks and you are not allowed to bring food into the park that isn’t purchased there. I read a review to say that bags were searched. This didn’t happen to us on our visit.
We arrived at the park, short queue to get in- even with the wrist bands. You’ll probably need a locker which was €10 with a €5 refundable deposit. The locker area was small and cramped and because the locker area was where you picked up the keys- everyone wanted in at the same time.
There was an abundance of sun loungers, me and my partner are fair skinned. We got a spot in a shaded area in the artificial caves. Which was ideal for us.
We loved the lazy river, it was excellent. We went on a couple of the other rides and they were equally as good.
I agree with what others have said about the queues being chaotic. For the slides up on the hill, it is hard to know where to stand. Maybe painted markers on the steps separating the lines would be helpful?
It was difficult to go on each slide within a one day visit due to the number of visitors but if you were really keen to do them all then the park offer a two day ticket.
I wasn’t wowed or overwhelmed but I wasn’t underwhelmed either. It is pleasant enough for a day of your holidays.

We booked tickets online including park spend which got us 25% off and I’d recommend others to do this.
We went the week that covid restrictions were being eased so the park were still checking flight passes of all people in the line. There were a lot of windows open so moved through quickly. At the window you are given bands to use with the cashless system, these are scanned at food and drink outlets and added to a bill to be settled at the end of your visit which was a great idea.
The park itself was well laid out and immaculate, we had no issues getting beds for the family and they weren’t too crowded that you find with some other Waterpark’s. Food was great and wasn’t too badly priced especially with the prepurchase discount from the website. Cleaners were constantly going around and all staff seemed to take pride in the park and straighten chairs, pick up rubbish as they were walking around. Found all staff to be friendly and fun within the park and lifeguards were awesome.
We spend a whole day there from open until close and our kids 12 & 14 didn’t get bored, it is a relatively small waterpark which gave them freedom to roam but enough to keep them entertained. So much so that they asked if we could return later in our holiday which we did using the €15 return tickets available on exit. The 611 but stops right outside and was €1.50pp so we walked there and bussed back both days which worked well. Would 100% recommend the park for a great day out, it was clean and well ran, we all had crazy fun and it was fantastic value for money.

We have been to many water parks around Europe and this one was by far our favourite.
To start with on entrance everyone is given a wrist band with a bar code. Using this wrist band you buy anything that you need. Locker, food, drink, gifts etc. When you exit the waterpark they remove the wristbands from your family that you are paying for and then you pay. Perfect set up.
The waterpark itself is so very well managed with polite, helpful slide coordinators and supervisors and they are everywhere managing the waterpark brilliantly. All other water parks we have been to do not allow even a smart watch going down the slides, nothing is allowed. After the first day of a two day ticket, that can be taken any two days, and getting sun stroke the first day going round the rides, we realised this waterpark is not as strict as all the others we have been to and it was perfectly fine to walk around with a cap and then hold it in your hand going down the slide. The slides were excellent and a great choice and selection for all. There were more than enough rings for everyone and even they were managed well. There was also plenty of sunbeds and shelter. For food and drink there was a decent choice at a not too overpriced cost for a water park.
We had a brilliant day out both days and would definitely recommend it. Well done Aphrodite on creating an excellent all round pleasurable experience.

It was a great water park however the queues were awful. At the entrance the sexurirt told me they had over 2000 people in and that i should come back tomorrow when i had already pre booked. They were still selling people tickets so i didnt understand. I said there should have bee a cut off of ticketa they cant expect people to come back when they had planned this in advance. Very poor from them. The queues for the big slides were like 30 min wait but after a while they started to go faster. A lot of people started to leave as the queues were roo much, nowhere to swim or sit.

Our plane wasn't due to take off until late evening so we opted to go to the water park for a full day out and were not disappointed. Thankfully we did spend almost the whole day here as half a day would not have been enough. The weather was so hot though, with the ground almost burning feet, but even that wouldn't stop us (sliders to the rescue!).
The waterpark is easy to find via car with ample parking. It was reasonably quiet around opening time and much faster to buy tickets in advance.
There were plenty of loungers available and the majority were in the shade, either from parasols, canvas covers or trees.
A number of different rides to try out too that suited our 10 & 12 year olds down the the ground. The only complaint was that our younger one was upset that his child wristband wouldn't allow him on a few of the (more interesting) rides such as the cannonball. There's a big wave pool and also a chilled pool that is half in the shade which is great for those who want a chill out pool. Also there's an area for younger kids that looked good but we didn't try it.
Plenty of lifeguards and other staff around keeping everyone safe and the area clean.
Food was above average price as to be expected, but the quality was surprisingly ok.
You don't buy anything in person whilst in the park, but they scan your wristband and run a tab that you settle on exit. This is a helpful way of keeping a wallet safe but I suppose you can get carried away with purchases (note that every purchase requires you to review all your spending so far and sign for it before going ahead).
This means that if you want to get something from the car, you need to settle your tab before leaving the park. Totally understandable.
So if you have kids up to mid or late teens, or even a group of young adults, then I would recommend this as a full fun day out.

I visited this water park in July, it was very hot, but in February, I think, there will be about 20 degrees of air temperature. Therefore, I recommend that you look at the temperature on the sites, and see if the water park will work during this period.

What does the upgrade on the ticket get you?

I assume it’s the food and drink pack upgrade. Certainly worth it. You save twenty five percent. For us it was €45 and allowed €60 credit at the food and drink outlets. They don’t explain it too well but ultimately you charge all to your wristband and give them the vouchers on the way out. We spent just over €72 on snacks, drinks, iced and burger lunches x3 and only paid €12 as we left. Saved us €15.

No it doesn’t have a look at their website ‘Aphrodite water park’ and the ticket info is there where it confirms this.
When you book online, so you get an e-ticket to show at the ticket office?

Yes. You can either print out at home or take on your phone if you booked whilst on holiday. They have free WiFi so downloading the voucher doesn’t use up your data.

There is a junior pool (with various things in), wave pool and a lazy river - but as it is a relatively small water, not much else unless your child is really water confident.
Buy online to get better deal.
