We were picked up in a mini bus on time for our trip.We weren’t hurried anywhere on any of our stops which started off at a pottery where the owner explained everything about the workshop’s work and threw some pots for us. Then the small group of us went to the Cyprus delight workshop, again everything explained to us about the Sugared almonds, nut brittle, Cyprus delight with lots of tastings. Here we also visited the ancient church, where Ulla the guide explained all the history so well. We were then whisked off to a mountain village to a traditional house belonging to a lovely couple where we sat down to tea, coffee, home made bread, cheese, olives , tomatoes, traditional donuts, and a shot of the local Cypriot spirit, and lastly for a lovely visit to the monastery of St Neophytes before being taken back to our hotels. Ulla reminded us all to be certain to take all our goods off the bus. I made sure I took all my shopping but left my stick behind. 15 minutes later there was a call to my hotel room, my stick returned. Thank you so much Ulla for being an excellent guide and returning my stick.

The guide and driver were both experienced and knowledgeable. The visit to the pottery was an actual demonstration whereas at other trips we had been on they were more of a selling experience. We then visited the church with five domes and a manufacturer of Cyprus delight. We then visited Sophias House which was a wonderful example of a traditional house. Our final destination was the Monastery at Tala which we had visited independently before. A really excellent day out.

Another excellent tour from Trip Advisor. The trip was everything it proposed to be. Although it was very hot on the day we still managed to go our way in a relaxed manner. Out tour guide which I believe her name was Sophia was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the history of Cyprus and its people. She always readily answered any questions we had about our experience. We visited places we would not have been able to visit had we been on our own. We went to a Pottery and showed how pottery was made, went to a workshop where lakoumia, hlava and sugared almonds are made and then proceeded to Sophia Traditional Cooking where we were taught how halloumi cheese was made. We were treated to many delicious Cypriots food and delicacies. The Cypriots cannot be more sweeter or more welcoming.

We finished off the tour by visiting a Monestary and stopping for lunch. Another excellent tour advertised by Trip Advisor which I do not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for enriching my experience in Cyprus

I enjoyed this tour but we didn't go to some of the advertised venues! We didn't go to the 5 domed church or saw 'loukoumia' being made, which was a shame. What we did go to I enjoyed, particularly going to Sophia's house. I think it was good value for money and would recommend it. One thing to improve was that the coach has poor air conditioning and was very hot.

Dear customer Thank you for your review and comments which always are welcomed and are used as feedback of our operation. Its seems however that there is a misunderstanding, 5-dommed church and Loukoumia, were intergral part of our tour in last year program which was advertised accordingly. The program of the coresponding tour is being changed in February 18 and since then is being advertised, according to our partners confirmation, with the new sights. It will be realy helpful to follow up if we have a copy of the desciption. You comment regarding air conditioning of the coach is been noted and been repaired, but I would say that even machines can't stand the head!

We're not much into coach tours normally, but this one was an exception. Booked on TA before we went to Paphos, although there is a Ruslan travel centre in Paphos, or possibly book in the hotel, for about the same price. We were picked up within a short walking distance from our hotel and taken in an air-conditioned coach which had 2 guides; one for English speaking (which was the vast majority) and one for Russian (which amounted to about half a dozen). The coach was full, although I think they run less tours out of season, which would account for this. All places we visited had toilet facilities if required.

An excellent value tour which took us to several places in the Paphos area and we got to see local crafts, sweets, delicacies and wine made. The highlight for us was Sophia's house, where you could see Sophia in the kitchen, catering for an entire coachload on her own. We were provided with a simple lunch here of olives, home made bread, freshly made halloumi (nothing like the hard rubbery cheese you get in the supermarkets), tomatoes, cucumber and home made preserves, followed by fresh fruit and freshly made doughnut type things. You could also take a walk around her house and garden. The tour was completed with a visit to a winery, with a talk, tour and tastings, where you could purchase reasonably priced wines. The tasting session could have been improved by a description of each wine and perhaps a basic lesson on wine tasting.

A highly recommended good value tour - one tip I would give for the English speakers is to try and get a position in the group away from any Russian translator, as you couldn't hear what was being said properly with the translator speaking nearby.

We decided to go on this tour as opposed to the ones offered by our tour operator which are always expensive. We visited a pottery, church, monastery, Turkish delight manufacturer and a winery. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ruslan tours have an office at the Paphos bus station and you can get tickets there or online. Check them out if you want an alternative to the more expensive tour operator trips.

With the tour we visited places and traditions which otherwise would be pretty hard (or impossible) if we tried to do it solo. For 24€ we visited 5 places, had a nice breakfast at Sofia's home, tried authentic Cypriot wine at Fikardos vinery, saw basket museum and Savvas pottery who showed us how he makes different things. There were two guides, one russian speaking and one English. In my opinion, russian guide was more dedicated to her group and said more interesting informations (i could understand both guides) and facts than English speaking guide, but she was also ok. All in all, it was a nice day and would recommend to people who want to se rural Paphos

We picked up the coach at the Harbour bus station in Paphos. We were taken to a pottery, watched how Turkish delight was made, had a light lunch at Sophia’s home and then finished at a winery. Mary our guide spoke very good English and the whole tour was a great experience, highly recommended!
