- Michelle P0 contributionsHistory of cyprus in one day.One of the best trips i have done in cyprus .and well done to the bus driver and vassos the tour guide from start to finish.i leant more than i ever did before about cyprus in one day.very interesting but also sad as u walk threw the ghost town of famagusta which was once the number one tourist destination and now just hotels shops all closed damaged abandoned due to 1974 civil war.SUCH A SHAME .also visited salamis anceint city amazing.its a must do trip when you visit cyprus.Written January 31, 2025
- AngieMc400 contributionsDay trip to NicosiaInteresting and informative tour. Highly recommended. Our tour guide gave a detailed and impressive background to the history of Cyprus and the effects religion and politics have had on the island.Written January 29, 2025
- Liathach1055m0 contributionsAmazing tourWonderful to see the St Barnabas church, the ancient city of Salamis and the walled town of Famagusta, a fascinating glimpse of the Turkish side of CyprusWritten December 16, 2024

- Daiga V0 contributionsOne day in Cyprus ♥️♥️♥️The trip from the agency was very well planned. The guide was knowledgeable, attentive and caring about all travelers. We enjoy every stop and the whole journey. Sometimes there were wish to stop the moment. Excellent. I recommend!Written November 20, 2024
- Tour045617902910 contributionsEnjoyed much more than expectedUsually stay away from big tour groups, but this one ran smoothly and allowed a good deal of independent exploring compared to what I would have expected. The sites of course are well worth seeing, and the trip ran very smoothly.Written November 19, 2024
- heids89_0 contributionsGreat trip with Zofia! We had a great trip with Zofia, very knowledgeable tour guide with lots of interesting facts. Saw 3 beautiful monasteries. Some scenic views and a lovely spot for lunch at a local restaurant. Also stopped at a very cute town called Omodos and tried some delicious homemade cakes. These are a must try in you’re in town!! Only downside was the bus was so hot, not sure why as it was not too hot outside.Written November 15, 2024
- PhilM6820 contributionsThe 50-year ghostHaving arrived at my Paphos hotel at 9 p.m. on arrival, at 7.45 the next morning I was picked up and taken on an 11.5-hour trip diagonally across the island. The ghost city of Varosi was astounding, a resort unused for 50 years and with hotels still damaged from the conflict, the ghost village we passed scarcely less so. Salamis and Famagusta were both very interesting. Vassos our guide was impressively well-informed and gave us the context from a Greek Cypriot viewpoint. My only problem was that the rest of week was less interesting.Written November 11, 2024
- johnuE2562ZT0 contributionsA step back into Cyprus’s past, both recent and anxientThe most amazing trip across the length of the island and into the de facto Turkish part. Amazing sights of ancient history, notably Salamis, and not so great sights of more recent history in the abandoned town of Varosha. So sad to witness, but important all the same in understanding Cyprus’s past. Vassos, our guide has a wealth of knowledge which we all benefitted from. Fitos did a brilliant job of getting the rather large coach through seemingly impossible gaps. Very well done to both A very full day, but worth every minute, from 7.30 in the morning to nearly 8 in the evening.Written November 2, 2024
- BeckyO_Wanderlust0 contributionsA must-do trip!Absolutely brilliant trip, I forgot the driver's name, but both the driver and guide, Vasos, we're friendly and welcoming. Very detailed tour with lots of information. Vasos was very good with the timings and itinerary, being very clear on how long we were visiting a particular spot and how long until the next spot. So much knowledge provided on each site. A long day - but definitely worth it.Written October 11, 2024
- SMArDaith0 contributionsWell organised and interesting tripA long day, but we really enjoyed it all! The bus was comfortable and air conditioned, and we were able to leave belongings on there when getting off at each of the stops which was very handy. Guide was lovely, experienced and knowledgeable. It was very interesting to hear more about the history of the island and the situation today in the north. Definitely recommend.Written October 4, 2024
- 147hristoh0 contributionsVery good experienceNice, very informative and well organized trip. The guide has good sense of humor. May be the time, spent in Varosi was to short, but if were staying more, the excursion will be to long.Written October 1, 2024
- Merloweo0 contributionsInteresting tourReally interesting tour - lots of history and our guide was very knowledgable. Would recommend although would note that it’s a long day so make sure to prepare to be tired afterwards! Also make sure you have a British or EU passport for the border crossing!!Written September 28, 2024

The trip was well paced and flexible. Our guide (Sofia) and driver (Adamson) were accommodating, knowledgable and punctual. The visits were varied and extremely interesting. Shame we had no extra time for additional trips

We were picked up in a mini bus on time for our trip.We weren’t hurried anywhere on any of our stops which started off at a pottery where the owner explained everything about the workshop’s work and threw some pots for us. Then the small group of us went to the Cyprus delight workshop, again everything explained to us about the Sugared almonds, nut brittle, Cyprus delight with lots of tastings. Here we also visited the ancient church, where Ulla the guide explained all the history so well. We were then whisked off to a mountain village to a traditional house belonging to a lovely couple where we sat down to tea, coffee, home made bread, cheese, olives , tomatoes, traditional donuts, and a shot of the local Cypriot spirit, and lastly for a lovely visit to the monastery of St Neophytes before being taken back to our hotels. Ulla reminded us all to be certain to take all our goods off the bus. I made sure I took all my shopping but left my stick behind. 15 minutes later there was a call to my hotel room, my stick returned. Thank you so much Ulla for being an excellent guide and returning my stick.

The choice of food was amazing. They serve truly Indian dishes rather than Pakistan or Bangladeshi dishes. The waiter is very helpful in recommending food I like. Their mango lassi was amazing. I also had the onion Bhaji for the first time and I fell in love with it. My friend had the seafood special which was so good we went back a second time just for it.

The guide and driver were both experienced and knowledgeable. The visit to the pottery was an actual demonstration whereas at other trips we had been on they were more of a selling experience. We then visited the church with five domes and a manufacturer of Cyprus delight. We then visited Sophias House which was a wonderful example of a traditional house. Our final destination was the Monastery at Tala which we had visited independently before. A really excellent day out.

Another excellent tour from Trip Advisor. The trip was everything it proposed to be. Although it was very hot on the day we still managed to go our way in a relaxed manner. Out tour guide which I believe her name was Sophia was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the history of Cyprus and its people. She always readily answered any questions we had about our experience. We visited places we would not have been able to visit had we been on our own. We went to a Pottery and showed how pottery was made, went to a workshop where lakoumia, hlava and sugared almonds are made and then proceeded to Sophia Traditional Cooking where we were taught how halloumi cheese was made. We were treated to many delicious Cypriots food and delicacies. The Cypriots cannot be more sweeter or more welcoming.
We finished off the tour by visiting a Monestary and stopping for lunch. Another excellent tour advertised by Trip Advisor which I do not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for enriching my experience in Cyprus

Places visited were excellent. Especially the monastery. Guide gave detailed explanations at the church and monastery which greatly helped to understand the religious significance. Would highly recommend this tour. Journey times are short which leaves more time for visits.

We didn't do this trip as the operator cancelled. It was the only trip we booked during our short stay in Paphos. The afternoon before our scheduled tour, i received a cancellation by email. No other communication - just email. Good job I checked my emails by chance, which I don't always do on vacation. There was no time to book anything else. Very poor service, cancelling at the last minute and not even confirming with us that we had seen the cancellation notice.

Regret to hear you comments. Please accept our sincere apologise for not calling you . Although this is a standard procedure our customer service failed to notify you accordingly. As very rarerly cancel tours our team must have missed out the procedure. The reason for lastminute cancellation was due to weather conditions prevailing 38-40 C and 80% humidity. As most of the tour was run outside in the open air , this would have cost a discomfort to the participants.

Booked a trip to visit some sites in Paphos. The guide Sofia was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. George was the coach driver. Visit to one of the oldest potteries, 5 domed church with amazing frescos, all explained by Sofia. Then a visit to another Sofia's house where we tasted homemade bread, halloumi made on site. Salad and amazing coffee. The trip ended with own time in old Paphos. A great trip.

I enjoyed this tour but we didn't go to some of the advertised venues! We didn't go to the 5 domed church or saw 'loukoumia' being made, which was a shame. What we did go to I enjoyed, particularly going to Sophia's house. I think it was good value for money and would recommend it. One thing to improve was that the coach has poor air conditioning and was very hot.

Dear customer
Thank you for your review and comments which always are welcomed and are used as feedback of our operation. Its seems however that there is a misunderstanding, 5-dommed church and Loukoumia, were intergral part of our tour in last year program which was advertised accordingly. The program of the coresponding tour is being changed in February 18 and since then is being advertised, according to our partners confirmation, with the new sights. It will be realy helpful to follow up if we have a copy of the desciption. You comment regarding air conditioning of the coach is been noted and been repaired, but I would say that even machines can't stand the head!
