Demi was the perfect hostess and she was so friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell she just loves her work. Pan was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole process so easy to follow, explaining the techniques and ingredients in a way that felt approachable for beginners. As someone with Cypriot heritage - weaned on halloumi from an early age - it was a real eye-opener, getting involved, from start to finish, in the production of island’s famous cheese. And then tasting the delicious fruits of our labour! Another highlight was visiting Lefkara, a picturesque village, and learning about their world renowned lacemaking techniques. We were taken to the historic village church, with breathtaking views, as well as the museum, where a curator shared her knowledge of lacemaking techniques past down from generation to generation. As someone with Cypriot heritage, I already had some knowledge of the island, having visited many times before. But in the expert hands of Dimitra, our passionate tour guide, I now have a much deeper insight. Dimitra introduced us to numerous welcoming local people, living the authentic rural life, including parents, grandparents and grandchildren. We were shown a variety of fascinating production techniques. We enjoyed delicious local food and wines. Hi lights were also visiting the animals on the farm and feeding the babies and then having lunch, it was great being able to eat the cheeses we had helped to make. Later getting an insight into the olive oil production and honey collecting was also very interesting. And finally visiting the donkeys was a great end to a fully packed day. Demi our tour guide was amazing and made sure everyone had a great day. I enjoyed our walk around Lefkara and popping into many of the special shops in the village.Written February 19, 2025

We started feeding donkeys - not expected - but great fun too and something of an icebreaker as we discovered! Various food and wine tasting and learning about how foods were produced. Panico was an amazing guide and host, he thought all of us all the day to feel comfortable. As a solo traveler I greatly appreciate it. He tried to give us as much information as possible about food and drinks as well as the families of local farmers and winemakers. And also many of the history of Cyprus. We really went where the locals go (and where it would be very difficult to get to if you're a tourist). We saw real life of real farmers, had a real (abundant) lunch at local taverna (with bottomless wine). We even went to a vinery, that we have visited before on our own, but with Georgina's stories we realised that we saw nothing there before. This is truly a Real Taste of Real Cyprus and we cannot wait to have other trips offered by Cyprus Taste Tours - we love Cyprus and Cyprus taste Tours is a great opportunity to find places we couldn't have discovered otherwise. The groups are small, so you get to ask questions and get personal answers, and take your time if you need to do some shopping or want to discover more of any particular place. Our guide Georgina was amazing - a real "vibe", with amazing sense of humour, great stories of a truly local person, excellent recommendations, not to mention that she's an experienced driver and we felt safe and looked after with her.Written February 10, 2025

The tour was really nice we saw lots of inside of the island villages wineries restaurants and it was very good in general. We tried exceptional wines and all the winemakers were very friendly and welcoming.Panico was our guide who gas a great knowlage of Cyprus history and the are,which was very good for first timers as us. I totally recommend the tour for people who visiting for the first time so they can feel the island and the commandaria wine of course:)

This was a great experience from beginning to end . We were picked up with two other couples and taken to meet our tour guide Demi. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. In the morning we visited two vineyards and met the proud owners who were delighted to tell us about their wines and let us sample each of the wines they produced . We were then taken for lunch to a village in the Troodos mountains. The lunch was a typical Cypriot affair and was fabulous . So many courses from fried halloumi to moussaka and grilled chicken washed down with wine . Truly a feast . We then had some free time before visiting the final winery. Again we heard from the owner/ producer and again sampled some great wines . Not all of the wines on the tour were to my taste but there were enough to enable me to buy a few bottles . Eventually we were dropped off at our hotels . I loved that this was a small group tour and I would definitely recommend it .

We enjoyed the wine tour immensely. Irene was an excellent and knowledgeable guide and she answered all our questions. It was a great drive in the Troodos mountains and the wineries were quite different and all offered a wide range of wines for tasting.
I don't think I would've found these wineries on my own. The wine tastings were interesting each with 6-8 different wines, so you need to pace yourself. But the tastings also felt very intimate and it was clear that the winemakers are passionate about their wines and Cypriot wine traditions.
The website of Cyprus Taste Tours is very clear and easy to book and they are also very responsive on WhatsApp.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and sincerely recommend booking with Cyprus Taste Tours.

It was a day packed with food, wine and cultural experiences. The 3 different winaries showed 3 different aspects of the Cypriot wine industry and there was something for everyone's taste across the day and blue wine is something I'd never heard of - a great experience. The lunch was also amazing - a huge selection of food (meze) and the dishes just kept arriving and we got to try a range of things I wouldn't know how to order myself. But the true highlight of the day was Panicos, our wonderful guide. He had great english, was hugely knowledgeable and was great at communicating across a full van of people. He was so open about his life and culture and has a deep passion for Cyprus. He never pushed anything on us, he went out of his way to make everything work for us the group.

We had the most amazing day together with our guide Irene. She made our small group feel comfortable enough to the point where it felt like we were just on a daytrip with friends. For four people that didn't know each other or almost anything about wine tasting at the start of the day, we left with a new appreciation for wine and new friends.
But not only that! When booking I mentioned that it was my partners birthday on the day of the trip and asked if we could sing to him at lunch. Irene surprised us all by organising a special birthday surprise for us at lunch. She went above and beyond in order for all of us to have an amazing and special day. Thank you!

The trip was amazing. Our tour guide told a lot of interesting information, all three wineries were really beautiful, we tasted A LOT of wines and other spirits. Also, the lunch place and the food was very tasty. Overall, it was an amazing experience, definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Cyprus and wanting to taste a lot of different (and very good) wines.

We had such a brilliant day and would highly recommend the Vino Venture Trip. We were picked up at 9am and travelled to the Limmasol Region. We had 4 winery stops throughout the day, a bakery and taste visit, a tour of Omodos and the most delicious lunch!
Theodora, our Guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable. The wineries were super, tasting on average about 6 wines in each.
We would definitely recommend the trip and will be looking to book another one very soon!

A brilliant tour that was extremely well-organised, with very good communication from the company. We visited three lovely wineries and tried over 20 wines in total, plus there was a liqueur tasting session and a lovely lunch included.
Additionally, we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide — Panicos was very friendly and informative and took some lovely photos for us. 10/10, ευχαριστώ πολύ!

This was such a lovely outing! I participated as a singleton and found tour was inclusive and fun. Since these are smaller groups you don’t get lost in the crowd and it gives you an opportunity to meet different people. The tour guide, Helena, was lovely, knowledgeable, and clearly had a great passion for what she was doing. The views along the drive and at all the stops were spectacular and gave us all an opportunity to see parts of Cyprus we may not otherwise have ventured to. The wine and the tastings were both delicious and enjoyable. This tour really captures how unique and beautiful Cyprus wine culture and Cyprus itself truly are. Would definitely participate again when I return!

From start to finish the whole experience was truly a most enjoyable one. From our host / guide Helena who’s knowledge and great personality , kept us informed and interested, to the chosen Wineries , a delicious meze lunch at Omodos village, a walk about visiting the church,/ museum and very old wine press also the variety of novelty and food shops, the day just flew by! Thank you ever so much and keep up the excellent work!
