Our Malta Tour

Our guide Alfred and driver Allen were spectacular. Alfred was amazingly knowledgeable about any subject we could quiz him on about Malta's history, geography, or just about anything we could throw at him. These two made our time of Malta one of the highlights of our trip. Our highest recommendation!

A splendid day in Malta

We had only one day in Malta and decided upon a private tour with My Maltese Guided tours. We hit the jackpot! We were greeted just off the ship by Stephen who took the time to review the highlights of Malta, offered us a map, and decided on a game plan for the day to see as much as we could. We saw so much, but never felt rushed. Stephen's knowledge of the history and local hot spots was fabulous. We had time to stop for photos in some of the best places, were taken down back roads and out of the way spots we never would have seen on our own (or with the ship tours). We even stopped into a local restaurant to taste some pastry treats which some claim are the best on the island! We got to nearly all the island and loved every minute of it. Will definitely be back to Malta - and take another tour - it was fabulous! Top-notch tour company for sure. This company cares about doing it right!!

Malta left us Speechless

We added one extra hour in order to accommodate most of the Malta highlights we wanted to see while in Valletta from our cruise ship. Which sailing into and out of Valletta is absolutely breathtaking. Be sure to be on your deck to witness the magnificent splendor of Malta!

We visited:
• World UNESCO Heritage Site, Valletta, Malta’s capital city
• Visited the Marina
• Took the 25-minute boat ride along the sea caves at Blue Grotto
• Had some cake at Fontanella Tea Garden while sitting on the terrace and enjoyed the views
• Enjoy a guided tour through the medieval streets of Mdina and Rabat

Thank you so much for providing such a highly qualified tour guide in Dennis. We were all captivated by the beauty of your island and Dennis educated us about your country's history and culture. We were all so thankful for Dennis's knowledge, ease of adapting to our extra hour of our tour and his remarkable personality. We entered Malta in awe of it's beauty and left wanting to visit many more times and quickly became our favorite destination on our Mediterranean vacation. Dennis went above and beyond for all of us and never missed a beat in describing all details in our travel spots.

I highly recommend your company and most of all, Dennis. Dennis was professional and amazing!

Thank you for getting this together for me and you should be very proud and confident in the service Dennis provides. As a travel agent in the USA, I will highly recommend your company to my colleagues and clients and tell them to ask for Dennis!

Fantastic trip
We had a lovely guide Ciara and driver. The guide discussed with us what we wanted to do and first of all we went to a beautiful fishing port and strolled around a local market. She told us lots about the history of Malta and explained each place we went to. We then went to the blue grotto where we got a boat to see the caves which were very impressive, then we had time for a swim. Next stop was Mdina which was a stunning hilltop medieval village (Game of Thrones) which she walked round with us and explained all about its history and the locality. Despite being a bit longer than we had booked nothing seemed too much trouble and everything was at a relaxed pace. We were dropped off in Valletta with lots of information about where to go and what to look for. A memorable half day trip enjoyed by the whole family

Unbelievable Malta

It was our first time in Malta and we fell in love with all of it!! My Maltese guide had great reviews and we decided to book a four hour private tour with them. Our driver and guide were waiting at Port of Valleta, Miriam was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We also had a delicious meal in Valleta after the tour as getting back to the ship was very easy. It was a beautiful day in Malta and hope to be back soon!! Thank you Miriam and Mario for a great tour!!

Shore Excursion for half day in Malta

We had an exceptional tour in Malta with Miriam. She was waiting for us at the cruise terminal and took us to our private car with a driver. She then spent the next half day explaining everything about this wonderful country. We visited Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs and Mdina and it was a fantastic day. I would highly recommend this tour.

Shore excursion - private half day tour of Malta

Stephen and his team were excellent.

We had booked a shore excursion directly with My Maltese Guide. We were greeted by our guide as we got disembarked our cruise ship. Paolo asked us what we wanted to see and made suggestions and customised it to what we wanted to see and off we went - Marsaxlokk. Rabat, Mdina, and Valetta. Very informative, friendly and comfortable.
We would highly recommend Stephen and his team at My Maltese guide - definitely a place we would like to visit again.

Paula = Excellent Guide
Paula took us on a private 1/2 day tour of Malta. We went to Rabat, Mdina, the Dingli Cliffs, the Blue Grotto, Marsaxlokk and a few other areas where we had nice views. Paula was friendly, knowledgeable and we saw so much of Malta in just 4 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the island!

Fabulous and Fun!

My group of 14 people including family members ages 9-80 had a fabulous time on our half day tour of Malta! My Maltese Tour was amazing and loved our trip with Stephen! He made it so enjoyable from the minute we met him and the bus was in excellent condition, very clean and comfortable for all of us. We saw so much of Malta and saw so much in the four hours we were in Malta. The highlights were informative and fun, even for the teenagers on the trip! If I ever go back to Malta I will spend more time touring with this company!

Outstanding - highly recommended
I contacted My Maltese Guide with an idea of what I’d like to do in a half day private tour. Nothing was a problem and all correspondence was quick and efficient.

Our guide, Nick was tremendous. He was very informative and unbiased in his commentary and really gave us a true flavour of the island and it’s people. He was friendly and welcoming and we were totally at ease the whole time. Our driver, Glen was courteous and looked after us well.

Some other private tours may be cheaper, but chances are you won’t get a driver and registered guide

I wouldn’t hesitate using this company again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private tour.
