    Stop: 4 hours
The tour departs daily at 11 am from the touristic town Bugibba, with the journey to the Blue Lagoon taking approximately one hour. From the open sea you will experience Malta from an beautiful vantage point. Cruising close to the coast, witnessing Malta’s magnificent naturally formed coastline, including its enormous cliffs, rocky nooks and crannies. On route you pass the tiny St. Paul’s Island, viewing the statue of the apostle Saint Paul, rising high into the sky. You will stop and view magnificent sea caves, allowing you the opportunity to take amazing photographs. Then its anchors away, as we head to the famous Blue Lagoon, where the beautiful crisp turquoise waters are clearer than a swimming pool, definitely not to be missed on a hot summers day. We moor at the Blue Lagoon in a secluded tranquil cove away from the crowds, ideal for swimmers and snorkelers. Choose to spend the rest of the afternoon using the boats facilities. Relax and sunbathe on the cushioned sun loungers, before slipping into the sea from the upper-deck on the huge water-slide. When the fresh sea air makes you hungry, grab a bite to eat from our a la carte bar, serving juicy hamburgers to freshly made rolls. When the day comes to a close, freshen up in our sweet water showers and slowly take the journey back to port, arriving at 18:00.

Very nice crue, they took us to places so there would be less people. The burgers are very tasty and cheap. The ship wasn’t crowded, so we could all enjoy the view. The gave us fresh pineapple at the end. Very nice experience ! I recommend !

Snorkeling at blue lagune and another point was a lot of fun. Also, the bathing area of blue lagune was easy to walk to.

The boat was extremely inconvenient for snorkelers. The space between the benches and the tables (unnecessary anyway) was much too narrow even for slender people.

The kitchen of the boat was open during swimming time only.

An enjoyable enough day, but I think it’s fair to say the description of the excursion is rather different to the reality.

The trip actually involves a stop at Crystal Lagoon, before moving on to drop some people off at Gozo. From there, you do head to the Blue Lagoon, but there is no way you can describe the anchor point as secluded and away from the crowds. There were such places, but we were actually right in amongst the huge throng of tourists. From there, the boat later leaves to collect the people from Gozo, before returning again to the Blue Lagoon for a further time.

What was particularly disappointing about the boat is that the photograph of the beautiful boat in the description is not of the actual boat utilised, which is far more of the regular commercial fayre used by other companies. It was perfectly adequate, but not what we expected and is misleading.

Apart from that, there are signs up on the boat advising to be careful with the use of fresh water as it is in short supply, which is fine in itself, but not when the description offers the chance to have a fresh shower at days end, as that is not true.

It is also untrue that passengers are COVID temperature checked before boarding and that the prominently used areas are regularly cleaned, as we certainly didn’t witness either of these actions.

The crew were friendly enough, but a different variety of music wouldn’t go amiss, as the same repetitive dirge that played for 95% of the day made me consider starting to drink alcohol.

I have been lucky enough to go on many boat trips over the years and whilst the charging for snorkelling equipment was unusual, this was advised in advance and wasn’t a problem, as we just brought our own; being charged for life jackets was, however, an unwelcome and wholly unnecessary first. That having been said, the lunchtime burger was good value and very tasty.

The lagoons themselves were actually a little disappointing from the snorkelling perspective, where the range of fish on view were extremely limited. In addition, the photo stops at some caves on our return journey seemed rather perfunctory and didn’t add anything of interest.

As I say, an enjoyable enough day in itself, just not what was expected from the advertised description.

We joined the Odyssey at St Paul's Bay, took a gentle trip out to the Caves at Cimono 1st , had about an hour to swim off the boat. Then on to Gozo fkr those doing that trip as well, dropped them off then headed for the Blue Lagoon.

The boat was clean , tidy, had great staff, had snacks and a toilet. You could hire buoyancy aids etc. It was good that they had you wear a mask when needed. Drinks available and well needed as it was around 38 degrees on the top deck.

The Blue lagoon is amazing , clear crystal waters and about 1000 people at any one time. It's very very busy with holiday makers from all over the island. That said deck chairs and parasols were 15 euro for 2 and there I an abundance of food and drink avaialble.

Pick up sharp at 17.55 and back to St Paul's stopping off at a few caves on the way. All in all a really nice day out.

Get the local ferry as a foot passenger to get flexibility going to and from the Blue Lagoon. 13 Euros return. You can get there before the crowds. You get to go into the caves on the way to the Blue Lagoon.

I booked this cruise for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat was lovely and had plenty of seats and a good commentary explaining the caves and history of various places. We went to Comino and stayed there for 4 hours, which I spent most of swimming in the Blue Lagoon. This was just amazing. Exploring Comino is also fun and there are a lot of lizards.
The reason I have not given 5 stars is because the information and instructions given about the practical details of where we were to swim from, etc, were quite confusing. Other than that, it was a great experience and I shall endeavour to go again next time I am in Malta.

Sep 2019 • Solo
Travelling solo my by self to Malta, I was slightly nervous about finding the boar however it is very straight forward and the boat is at the end of the jetty via the location given by the company! We visited the crystal lagoon for one hour, the sea was so clear and beautiful. Decent priced beer and also a slide and diving board to jump into the crystal clear sea

We got to the crystal lagoon and only problem is travelling solo we all got told the boat would be back in an hour so we all had to depart (I had my bag with all my belongings in)

I managed to leave my bag in a spot on the beach in some rocks and went for a swim in the beautiful azure water. Definitely worth the 20 euros, I wish I booked two trips!!

For the more adventurous further along the coast there is a secluded spot where I and a few others was cliff diving into the sea and jumping from the top of the cliffs into the lagoon- an amazing experience one I will remember for life!!

All of our anxieties about spending a full day on the small ship with lots of people were put to rest as soon as we departed. It was a fantastic day.

Excellent service and very reasonable prices for food and drink on the boat too. The barman was very generous with his shots and had a great sense of humour. The rest of the team were also very efficient.

The ship was not 'overcrowded' and did not feel as such like the other companies we saw departing, although we did left to the boats full capacity. While initially anxious about what to expect booking online, and especially knowing how crowded it could've been, we were left very surprised and happy with the outcome considering the ticket price.

The visit to the Blue and Crystal lagoons gave us everything we wanted. Not too many other people and not in the most busiest areas of these, although it helps to have expectations in line with these busy tourist destinations, and there are lots of people about.

Overall, highly recommend the experience if you visit Malta.

The tour itself was so so good! We stayed an hour at Crystal Lagoon and it was more than enough.
After than we headed to Blue Lagoon, that was the main of the day. We stayed there four hours. Booking that tour was the right thing to do.. the small beach of Blue lagoon was so small and so packed that I felt so good staying on the boat to chill, sunbath, and also to swim. It was totally worth the price!!

On both lagoons, we did some snorkeling. That was actually the reason why we booked that tour. And it was amazing !

On our way back, we quickly visited few caves and headed straight back.
The crew is amazing and they do provide food and drinks on the boat. But don’t expect too much from the food, it is basic. It’s a small boat, not a Yacht.

To make it short :
- GOOD points : snorkeling, the tour, the price, the crew, the ambiance, the place provided on the boat
- BAD points : too much people (but it was high season)
