About the operator
- sooze2900Go direct to Gozo if you don't want to spend longer than necessary at the Blue LagoonWe picked this tour because it said 2.5 hours in Gozo and 1.5 in the Blue Lagoon. To be honest we did not want the Blue Lagoon at all but this trip seemed to over the shortest stay there and a bit longer in Gozo. We were told the boat closed boarding at 10am so we got there at 9.30. Each couple, or group were met individually to be told about where the toilets are etc, I thought this was a total waste of time as it held up boarding. The leaflet actually said we sail at 10am and many people had been there since 9.15. We did not leave until 10.30 (which is what our booking said so I am not complaining but there was a mismatch of information). We actually only ended up with 1 hour 15 minutes in Gozo, there were no sea delays and then we had 2 hours at the Blue Lagoon. The food and drink on board was reasonably priced though and the sandwiches were really good. However the boat was packed, we managed to get a seat but people were being packed on the deck, which is fine for some, but not for many. The seating was also uncomfortable because you were at an angle and kept sliding back. Next time we will opt for the ferry direct to Gozo and make our own way around. Also the captain told us if we got off at Gozo and did not book the land transport to Victoria (5 euro) then there was nothing at Gozo port at all, which we knew was not true as we had visited before and there were food kiosks and buses, as well as taxis.
- pascaldierickx00A wonderful day at seaThe cruise on this beautiful boat is magnificent. The captain has the good idea to show us places that are not too busy for crowds of tourists. And finally, he is extraordinarily friendly.
- simontkent00A cruise of two halves - Gozo lovely / Blue Lagoon awfulWent with Luzzo cruises and no problem with that , in fact they were good - prompt , friendly and efficient and good value. BUT it doesn’t matter who you go with they can’t make Blue Lagoon(Camino) any better , it is awful , hideous - avoid ! The only way you may be able to appreciate it would be hiring a private boat early in the morning . They don’t control the numbers of people or boats as I guess they just want the income . Sooo many people all crowded into a small bit of water , so many boats that the water is no doubt polluted in the day . At the top on walk down to beach you have to pass loads of burger and kebab snacks , anyway if you like all that then great , go for it , otherwise , stay the day on the lovely Gozo instead which you can do and just tell them that and they collect at end of day.
- 120colettew00Amazing! Not Overcrowded And Great Price For What You Get!! 😀This boat I highly recommend if exploring the Blue Lagoon! It is a lovely family run business! The man knows alot about the area. The music was relaxing and recognised tunes to sing along to! They have a little bar on board with great prices! The boat is not overcrowded either and there is plenty of room for lying down . They provide really comfortable blue mattresses. For the price it was just fantastic for a days trip. They helped make this day unforgettable and it was by far one of the best holiday days of my life so thankyou so much. I have travelled a fair bit in my lifetime but this is definitely the top of the list that I will do again in the future! 😊
- GavinDaniel1300We looked at a lot of cruises but we’re glad we settled on this one!We did the Full Day Comino tour and had a great time! Just riding over the waves on this boat is pleasant, but I would recommend getting there early to get a good spot. The last people on were quite cramped in the middle whilst we had great seats around the edge. You get a less popular swimming spot, then spend time at the Blue Lagoon. Food is average quality but very reasonably priced, as were the drinks. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and only a €10 deposit to rent a snorkel which for us was the highlight. We also loved the option to jump from the gangway into the sea and swim around the boat. We looked at a lot of cruises before settling on this one for €25 a head, but we’re so glad we did. Other boats looked much more cramped and were either very small or large tourist traps. Also a lot of other tours were more expensive!
- 783marcusk00It is so much funSo if you are on malta you must make this trip. First of all, it is really an experience. Secondly, the staff whether the captain or the crew on board or Peter who sells the tickets is very nice and super cool drauf and thirdly, for such a boat tour so little money to pay is really lucky. Thumbs up...luckily I can enjoy the tour B on Saturday with my family. 🍀🚤. Greetings to Owen from Marcus
- Roving31263100Boat is great, minibus tour - not so muchLoved the boat and the staff. There are a lot of people on the trip, but the staff show everyone where to sit and you don't have to fight for the best spot. Mostly all spots are good and comfortable. The boat trip itself was nice. I, however, have some regrets about minibus tour on Gozo that you get to choose for 5 Eur/person (that or speedboat ride for 15Eur/person or 0Eur for just staying at the Blue lagoon). Minibus we drove in had no airconditioning (ant the weather was very hot) and that really wasn't a tour. Driver just drove us to the inland sea and said we have 20 minutes to take photos, than drove us to the town center and said we have 1 hour to walk around, then brought us back to the boat.
- KevinG398000Amazing day at seaSuperb day on the Seahorse cruises in Comino, Owen the Captain and all his team are marvelous and their hospitality is fantastic. Food and drinks are very cheap. Went with all the family including a 5 year old kid. The tour was also very cheap compared to other boat trips to Comino. Well done Seahorse Cruses and keep up the good work thank you , and will definitely see you again. Highly recommend.
- Christopher F00By far the best day we had in MaltaHad our trip today snd was a little worried with it being a 7 hour boat trip as my partner gets sea sick, Well it was by far the best day we’ve so far in Malta and we’ve now been here 13 days. The boat was exactly where it said it would be, Owen the captain speaks to every group individually as we get on the boat ( very nice touch ) and explains where we’ll be going and what we can do etc. Two types of trips on one boat, you can stop off in Gozo for 3 hours and do the 3 euro mini bus route, Or you can stay on the boat and captain Owen will take you to the crystal lagoon where you can jump off the boat, swim or sunbathe. We had booked the Gozo stop but decided as we’d had such a good morning that we’d stay on the boat and we’re so glad we did, Once we stopped we could order lunch on the boat and considering they could charge you a fortune for food and drink as it’s not like you have any other choice, however they didn’t. Small but good menu from hot dogs to burgers, fries, salads and baguettes and it’s all made on the boat snd was really very good and cost 8 euro in total for 2 hotdogs, fries snd 2 cold cokes. Then after a few hours we headed to the blue lagoon. again you can stay on the boat while it heads back to Gozo to collect the tour group or you can get off as you’ve a few hours to spend here, We headed up to the top of the hill snd got ourselves the famous pina colarda in the fresh pineapple, we too a few pics and headed back to the boat to relax. As some have said, the boat stops near a rocky section about 5 minutes from the main hordes of tourists but you can definitely swim and it’s just as blue and pretty without the 5,000 other people near you, 4pm we get ready to depart the blue lagoon and start the return journey yo Malta to depart the boat at approx 5.20pm, Honestly the staff and the captain could not have been anymore helpful and the captain is very funny, Old school 90’s classic songs play all day which was also very nice indeed, There were approx 40 people on board and everyone had plenty of space and there’s lots of shade at the back of the boat, Honestly you can not go wrong with this day tour and the day went so quickly, just wish we had a chance to go again before we leave the island,
- StacksnTressels00Not what was expected or describedFirstly the instructions were slightly misleading on the location, the only boat in the bay? Actually there were a number of other boats, it was okay the only boat with sails (which actually were not usable). When boarding we were informed that there was one toilet and that we should really get the mini bus in Gozo as a taxi was very expensive and the buses were unreliable and they couldn’t wait. So we paid for the mini bus. When going past the blue lagoon on the way there we were shown a lovely bay. We arrived in Gozo, to be ferried to the capital (15 min journey) told we had 1 hour and if we were late they would leave. We were told to go to the Citidel or the town centre , but can’t do both as insufficient time, great, we were expecting 3 hours as promised ? So we returned back to the bus, had a 15 minute visit to a Rocky area, then a 10 minute stop at the church (maximum) and then back to the boat ~ it was a complete waste of time. We then went to the blue lagoon ~ only not to the lovely bay, but to a rocky place which proved impossible to gain access to the sea, again very little time, would have liked to have gone swimming had there been the shower it promised ~ there wasn’t one (well certainly not pointed out) We did this trip expecting what it said ~ 3 hours in Gozo, a nice swim in the blue lagoon in Comino, didn’t get any of it and it was a real disappointment. So we went back to Gozo, the bus service despite what these people say is excellent and free with your bus ticket from Malta, the ferry fare is really cheap, runs all day and night and available from a number of places across Malta. I honestly cannot recommend this as we thought it was a real disappointment, they Lao advertise meals on board as you can’t guarantee them on Gozo, the truth is, you have insufficient time to eat on Gozo. The other major disappointment was there was no social distancing and everyone was packed onto the boat, which given the current pandemic was shocking.
- Robert R00Amazing places, great staff, kudos to the captain that completed our trip perfectly. We will come backI can't believe how lucky we were to meet Cpt.Owen and his crew. The places we've seen today we're unbelievable and it must be seen at least one in a life time. A snack bar filled with goodies on a super good prices . The location they took us were amazing they even helped us rent a bus for only 3$ for person and see the Gozo island for a few hours. We visited the citadel and the cathedral in Gozo. Plus a few more stops on the way. CPT Owen and his staff were super friendly and communicative and gave us nice guidance. We felt safe on their beautiful boat with beautiful wooden design inside. I'm so happy we chose this tour I think is the best if you want a friendly and safe trip. All of the passangers were nice to eachother the atmosphere was warm. Great trip 100% will come back. No cons.
- Iarachlg00Great day at seaI am Maltese and have never been on a boat tour to comino as I always thought they were a rip off. However I had some friends visiting so decided to book this, and we loved it! We had a fantastic day out - we had a nice mix of boat time and time on land, and the staff were super friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. We even happened to see wild dolphins on the way back! A magical day all in all, will definitely be a must-do whenever I have friends visiting.
- gianniskO4465YN00SeahorseExcellent captain ! Very friendly ..amazing trip we was very happy! I total recommend! Have a good time guys
- MObelf00Great tripThis was a great boat trip - one of the best we've ever been on. The captain is a real star and his commentary is wonderful and in perfect English and Italian. We were on the trip with our son and his partner and ot catered for all our tastes. We went on a bus trip around Gozo, whereas they went by boat to a beach and then onward by speedboat to the Blue Lagoon, where we met up with them again. The timings were perfect! It is worth noting that this trip does not stop exactly AT the Blue Lagoon, but a 8/9 minute walk away over fairly rough terrain. But to be honest, the area at the lagoon itself is not very nice - too many boats, not enough space on the beach, too many people, too many food stalls ...........In fact the quieter are where we stopped was much prettier. I would highly recommend Seahorse.
- pbe1400000Great day trip to CominoWe booked a day trip to Comino for our family (3 children from 4 to 16). The crew were great, the boat excellent for such trip. We had space, it was really great. We had time to rest, time to swim, time to enjoy caves (we recommend the extra 10 euro booking for the speedboat that you can order on the boat). Really nice day, thanks to all.

We bought 2 tickets for "sea horse tours" from agents by the beach close to the boat docks for €25 each. We had assurances from the two female agents that the boat is large enough and only allowed to book half the boat's capacity to observe social distancing regulations in Malta. We arrived the following day at 0930 and the first blip was actually finding the boat itself. It is not a good sign when you cannot find your boat. It turned out the unlike the numerous other boats around, it does not have the company's logo on it. Instead, a tiny wooden boat bears the logo. Perhaps a smaller boat by the same operator? After more than half an hour waiting in vain someone came to direct us to the boat where we had more unpleasant surprises. The pictures on the brochures are not only completely misleading dishonest and potentially dangerous. The boat is completely overfilled and is a virtual "sardine tin". Forget about the dishonest depictions on the brochures but it is an outright lie about reduced booking to comply with "Maltese Covid-19 safety regulations".

We were expecting great trip but it was nothing like the pictures. So many people, the boat is so tall that we couldt fit in any cave, that was so disappointing. First Beach, im so sorry but what was that ? For 30€ ? Terrible. They take us to the crystal lagoon and dont even let us swim there like everyone else there. Blue lagoon was nice. I 100% recommend some privat boat, they are more expensive, but you can actually explore something. Im sorry.

We enjoyed the trip, the crew were fine. You just need to be aware that you sit where you are told so you have to be prepared for full sun for the whole trip which is fine if you are prepared. Thee food available is pretty basic so I would recommend a picnic. We did the day cruise and The Lagoon was very crowded and rowdy, Probably a better experience on The Sunset cruise.

Did this trip yesterday with my partner was all good apart from the tour of Gozo. Taken in a mini bus in a group and literally dropped at a few different places by the driver and told we had to be back on the bus in 10 minutes, 15, minutes etc etc. Didn’t say a word about where we were being dropped, where it was anything about the place. Very disappointing. It was the complete opposite on the boat trip however.

Lovely relaxing trip with really friendly helpful staff. Will need to pay extra to go on a speedboat into the caves (otherwise you will be viewing from a.distance) but worth it for the fun ride (was an extra 15 euros pp when we went but again speedboat driver lovely and good fun).
Avoids the noisy tourist crowds and definitely not a party boat which for us was a relief. Snorkels, noodles available too. Food on board tasty and reasonably priced compared to costs on Comino. Bring cash.

Just came back from a day trip: Comino, Blue Lagoon and Caves, Tour A. Absolutely brilliant from start to end. Well prepared; snorkeling kit can be rented for a small deposit. Great staff, friendly yet professional and helpful. Good and cheap lunch options. Extra: speedboat tour of caves; well fun & delightfully insightful. All well worth it. Highly recommend for a day of fun, exploration and relaxation. Thank you.

Great day with friends on board the boat with Seahorse Cruises. The captain, Owen, makes sure to provide a nice experience to everyone on board. The boat has ample space in the shade and also in the sun as well as a very reasonably priced bar. Recommended to everyone wanting to visit Comino on board this lovely boat.

Superb day on the Seahorse cruses in Commino, Owen the Captain and all his team are marvelous, nothing is too much of a problem, and their hospitality is fantastic. Food and drinks are very cheap. Went with all the family including 2 little kids ages 3 and 6 years and they loved experiencing Commino Island and swimming. The tour was also very cheap compared to other boat trips to Commino. Well done Seahorse Cruses and keep up the good work thank you , and will definitely see you again. Highly recommend.

The touroperator did not send us the right information about the tour. We ended up arriving too late because we thought we had to be there at 10:30. However apparently, the boarding started at 9:45. Sadly the boat had already left with out us. We were really looking forward to this tour, so we were really disappointed when this happened. We tried to call the captain, but he was rude to us. Really disappointing.

Frequent visitors to Malta and this boat trip is one of the highlights. It is a fantastic day out, on a lovely boat, with really friendly staff and beautiful sea views. With a variety of drinks and freshly prepared snacks at very low prices. Never fails to thrill. What more can you ask for. Well done Owen. See you in a few weeks.
