      Worth it!!
Worth it! Driver was on time for both pick up at hotel and from Sky Lagoon. He was funny and helpful. Sky Lagoon was phenomenal and not having to worry about how to get there was wonderful! Highly recommend!

      A Reykjavik must visit!!
We had a brilliant morning at the Sky Lagoon - the taxi picked us up from our hotel spot on time and when we were finished we contacted Marina Travel to see if they could send our return taxi an hour earlier than planned and they did without any fuss - very impressive service from the company and its friendly drivers. The lagoon was great fun - the water was much warmer than we had imagined. We had a good swim around followed by a drink at the swim up bar and then did the 7 step ritual - well worth paying extra for this. Watch out for the fun police in the sauna :-) - no talking allowed in there - so be sure to shhhhhh! If you're visiting Reykjavik I'd recommend this trip in a heartbeat - great memories

      A must do!
Great transfer service, nice and easy and a great day at the blue lagoon. Recommend going early (get there for 0900) for sunrise and to enjoy a quieter time before the mad rush starts around 1200. Don’t forget the sauna, steam room and waterfall that is also there and a great feature.

Excellent service. Very smooth transfer experience to the Blue Lagoon including entry tickets. Collection from local bus stop closest to our hotel and transferred onto larger coach at the bus station . Very quick easy and efficient and communicated well. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again thank you

      Amazing Experience!
Snorri was absolutely amazing! Funny, polite, lots of stories, history… I’m grateful I took this tour. It’s the only tour I did in Iceland. It was very well worth it!

      The MUST-DO Reykjavik Stop
Do yourself a favor and pay for the "comfort" ticket. You get a comfy bathrobe and multiple types of goop to smear on your face (facemasks). They have a slick system of using a RFID bracelet to track/pay for things like extra drinks. The bus transfer was convenient: they pick you up from your hotel in a mini-bus that make a route of central Reykjavik then take you to a bus terminal in town where you board a larger bus for the drive to The Blue Lagoon, then reverse the process on the way back. I recommend also going to the Sky Lagoon, different experience & the wife and I liked both places for different reasons.

      One in a Lifetime Experience
This was an excellent excursion. I contacted Marina Travel three times in advance of the trip with questions. We were coming off of a cruise and had our passports and valuables with us. We were able to leave our suitcases at the hotel but couldn't check in. We weren't comfortable leaving our valuables unattended. Marina was very responsive. We were picked up at a bus stop within sight of our hotel and dropped back there. Bus service was prompt. The Blue Lagoon experience was fabulous and better than expected. The lockers are very secure. The only small negative is that we were taken to a bus depot and transferred to a free shuttle to get back to our hotel. This was an expensive trip, and I expected the company who was transporting us to take us all of the way to and from. Marina Travel is a reliable company, and I would use them again. The Blue Lagoon is a unique and memorable experience.

We had a great time. Everything went well and smooth. The van was comfortable and the driver very nice. The zodiac visit to the blue lagoon was incredible.

Ten days in Iceland driving around the Ring Road with Gunnar, the Best Guide Ever!
Our 10 days traveling the Ring Road in Iceland on an Icelandic Tours vacation was wonderful! My sister, brother and I were with a group of 15 "new best friends" and were passengers in a comfy Mercedes Benz van. We made many stops every day and spent each night in a lovely hotel in a new town. We hiked up calderas, watched puffins, took a boat ride in a lagoon filled with huge icebergs, went to an Icelandic Horse "show", tried dried shark tidbits (yuck) and even saw the Northern Lights twice. Our Guide, Gunnar (born and raised in Iceland) was exceptional and truly a high point of every day from wake-up/breakfast, to being an excellent driver and knowing about every stop and road we traveled along the way. The information Riina at Iceland Tours put together for us was easy to understand (we had many questions at first) and were even able to have an up close viewing of the erupting volcano on our last day as we took the FlyBus back to the airport This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for most of us and the guidance, suggestions, help with reservations (the Forest Lagoon was GREAT!) we received from Iceland Tours were so helpful for me as I carried the reins of our magic bus from April through the end of August.

Expected a Bit More from a Tour Company
We liked the idea that this tour offered an option other than the big tour bus option that our cruise ship was offering. And, it seemed perfect for our group of six. But, it turned out to effectively be us paying to have someone drive us to the different locations, rather than the tour we were expecting. In short, the person that picked us up and drove us around was nice, and spoke English, but wasn't very talkative despite our efforts to encourage him to tell us about the area. That was disappointing. In addition, we had booked the tour that included the zodiac boat tour and about a week before the trip Marina Travel contacted us to let us know the zodiac tours had been double booked and we wouldn't be able to that part of the excursion. (So receiving "confirmation tickets" for the zodiac boat many months in advance didn't mean anything). Marina noted it was not their fault, as it was the zodiac boat tour that had double booked the zodiac trips. This was very disappointing for our group as the main reason we had book the day trip was to do the zodiac tour. Marina refunded us the money to downgrade to the amphibian boat tour, but didn't offer more than that. My guess is that this particular tour isn't done much by Marina travel and they haven't yet figured out how to make it reliable and special for their guests. Diamond Beach was beautiful and unique, as was Glacier Lagoon. I'm glad I saw them but this wasn't the ideal way to visit them.

      sky high
went here with my wife prior to heading out on a 5 day hike into the highlands(laugavegur trail) and we totally enjoyed the experience. from the moment we slid into the warm water a huge smile came across our faces. we did the 7 step ritual which was so relaxing and also refreshing.the sky lagoon is very clean and all aspects of the experience were first class.if you are in reykjavik and you have time it is a must do!!! can't wait to go back someday and do again.

This trip was not worth the time or money. The ice cave was not so beautiful as to make it worth the hours in an-overcrowded Ford sprinter (not a jeep) with one butt cheek hanging off the side of the bench and a large group of Americans bragging about their banking jobs. The sun was setting when we got there so the lighting was bad for photos. The tour guide let the large group do whatever they wanted, leading us to spend a long time waiting as they took photos with and without their jackets on and in different poses and combinations of people.

Alternatively, we took an Arctic Adventures snowmobiling and ice cave tour from Skjól Campground where the sprinters were outfitted with individual seats so everyone could be comfortable, and the tour guides helped move people along so that we got home at a reasonable time and no one was stuck sitting outside a cave for 30 minutes just waiting for others to be done.

We were supposed to be on the morning tour (hoping for good light) but our ticket had the wrong address on it and the tour left without us- what a headache. We had arrived early and called multiple times but the booking agent couldn’t get us in touch with the tour operator. The new ticket they gave us for the afternoon tour also had the wrong address, but luckily we were in the area the tour left from for lunch and flagged them down. All in all the whole thing was an unprofessional mess, and I would actively avoid both the booking agent (Mariana Travel) and the tour company (Tröll).

I would avoid this tour at all costs- we truly wish we had not lost a day in Iceland to this negative experience.

Dear Guest, We regret this unfortunate experience that you had. We tried calling you on the phone number that you used for the booking multiple times in the morning of your departure but no one answered. The tour had to leave at the designated time as we have other people on tour and it is not fair to make them wait when you were uncontactable. The meeting location is indicated on the ticket and so far none of our guests had any issue finding the place. We cannot choose who we want as customer and we always do our best to accommodate to all our guests on tour.

We used Troll Expeditions and met our guide in Vik. There were 6 of us and another 5 or 6 people joined us. We loaded into a 4 wheel drive van and headed out on a 40 minute or so drive on a very bumpy gravel road to the glacier/ice cave. Once we arrived, we had a short hike and climb to get up to the cave. It was a warm sunny day and water was pouring off the glacier and entrance to the ice cave. Since the glacier also consists of volcanic ash, we were rained on with a combination of water and ash. Fortunately, we were dressed appropriately (recommend not wearing white). Once inside the cave, we moved fairly easily through the cave. It was very cool to experience but a much shorter journey than expected possibly because the area around the cave was melting so rapidly. After exiting the cave at the other end, we were basically in a valley of the glacier. Here, our guide let us explore a little on our own and then led us on an easy climb up the valley to the edge of the glacier for some great views. After a few minutes of pictures and glacier info, our guide led us back down and back through the cave. This was a great and truly unique experience that was one of the highlights of our trip.
