Let’s start by saying that the guide Adam was incredibly knowledgeable and to trust him when he takes you to see the northern lights. Our trip was filled with breathtaking beautiful scenery, unexpected gems, amazing hikes, and the best view we could have for the northern lights. This experience is one my husband and I won’t ever forget , thank you Adam!

What a fabulous way to see a small taste (but big on impact) of what Iceland has to offer. Definitely worth that little bit extra cost for this small group tour compared to the big bus ones. There ended up just being 4 of us on the tour, so plenty of room in the jeep. Obviously the scenery was amazing, but what made the trip was Adam’s enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for Iceland. He gave us plenty of time at each stop and explained where and when he’d collect us to let us explore at our pace. Dinner was at a great restaurant where they also made yummy chocolates. Unfortunately a Northern Lights sighting was not to be, even though Adam drove us to a few locations and diligently checked the apps/websites. It was however a beautiful moonlit night and the stars shone, giving equally special photos above the dormant volcanoes. We also drove through some stunning moonlit scenery. A trip to remember - thank you so much Adam and hope to see you in Scotland some day.

Amazing tour - our guide was fantastic. We spent the right time at all the sights and we were not rushed. To then see the northern lights finished off a fantastic day. Would definitely recommend this trip.

AMAZING DAY WITH ADAM! He is just the best, very patient, kind and try his best to make a great tour to everyone! Adam made a table reservation in a very nice restaurant, everything was really organized, just perfect! He is also a great photographer and he took amazing pictures from us under the northern lights. We got very lucky to see the lights in my husbands birthday! Adam also was very patient taking pictures and helping out with the little celebration we did for my husband. Adam is the perfect company for the day and has a lot of information about the places and the country. Also his car is very safe and comfortable, it is amazing to have a very small group, avoiding the big buses group! Just book it, you won't regret it. You will have the best tour! thanks ADAM!

Even in bad weather conditions, we had a wonderful time. With a small group of max. 6 people we had plenty of time to explore the landscape along the tour and also to talk to exchange with our guide and fellow tourists. Thanks for everything to Adam and TRY Iceland!

A really great experience. Adam collected us in his jeep from the hotel and took us to the iconic sights of the golden circle. It was snowing heavily so the northern lights were out of the question - instead we decided on the Secret Lagoon, Iceland’s oldest hot spring public baths.

We had such a great tour with Adam. He spent almost 12 hours with us, being very flexible with the itinerary due to weather and going above and beyond for us to try to see the northern lights. It wasn't in our plans but he even took us to secret lagoon. Adam is so knowledgeable about geothermal iceland and we loved the fact that the company is just him and his wife. We highly recommend touring with him; we'd happily go again ourselves.

Amazing fun day, Adam was very knowledgeable, friendly and we felt very well cared for. That night we did not see the lights but Adam had a plan B. We also got to lol of the top tourist highlights before the crowds and the six person excursion was worth the upgrade. I highly recommend.

We were able to see the Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Basin and Gullfoss Falls. We appreciated the fact that the guide would drop us off at one part of an attraction with directions to hike to another location where he would pick us up. This was a great way to really experience these locations. (Note: these were not super difficult or long hikes). The northern lights were out the night we were there, but at first fairly faint. But on our way back into Reykjavik they came out in full force, and the guide was quick to find a place where we could see them well. The only downside was our dinner which felt overpriced.

We had an outstanding day with Adam on our visit to Landmannalaugar. We had four full days planned and were debating how to spend our 5th full day and are all very glad we picked this tour. It was very different than everything else we saw and you can only reach this part of Iceland about 3 months each year. I picked the tour with Try Iceland versus the other 1-day tours because it seemed like you got to see a lot more along the way to/from Landmannalaugar than the other tours and we were not disappointed. Adam made so many stops at gorgeous waterfalls, crater lakes, areas that looked like Mars, etc. It was a long day but a fantastic one. Adam was such a delight too - so knowledgeable and just so nice! His jeep had Wifi too.

My husband and I joined a small group tour of the Highlands and Landmannalaugar. Adam is an incredible tour guide, I would not take a tour of Iceland any other way. He takes you to spots he knows of where the giant tour groups don't go. It's the first nature tour I've had where I felt like I was actually seeing something without a swarm of people. He really let's you drive the pace of the day. At one point he even drove us around looking for a place to buy towels for the hotspring! He's got great stories to tell and has collected an incredible amount of Icelandic knowledge in his time here. Choose Try Iceland!

"Landmannalaugar by Super Jeep" by Try Iceland was a highlight of our Iceland vacation. Their itinerary was the best: we stopped at 3 crater lakes, 3 waterfalls, and spent 3.5 hours at Landmannalaugar itself. We had enough time there to take a 3-mile hike through lava fields, past fumaroles, enjoying fantastically colorful mountains, and at the end, enjoy a dip in the Landmannalaugar hot springs. We booked our excursion on tryiceland.com and we couldn't ask for a better experience: they were very responsive and clearly communicated the prices and schedule. There was no problem when we asked to be picked up at a hotel in Selfoss on their way to the highlands. Our driver & guide, Adam, was very friendly, went out of his way to make sure that everybody was comfortable and answered countless questions not only about our trip, but about life in Iceland in general. When other jeeps stop at the bottom of the Ljótipollur crater to let their clients take a hike, Adam in his jeep drove a 2 km bumpy trail to the top of the crater: he was the only one parking there. I highly recommend choosing Try Iceland for your excursion to Landmannalaugar.

Amazing tour! The best views we saw in iceland. Adam, the driver, is a super nice guy, very safe driving thought the roads of highlands. Incredible tour, recommend to anyone looking to see diferent landscapes than the usual spots in iceland.

Me and my mother had booked a small group tour, but it became private as we were traveling off season in early May. Adam was the best host, kind, flexible and very nice talking to during the long trip. We got to see all things as described + some extras including churches and lighthouses which my mother loved. Adam provided a walking pole to my mother when needed, much appreciated. The Jeep offered a really good view both at the side windows and in the front, much better than the mini bus we went with another day (another company).
